I wish I would have saved myself 50k. I was told I would leave and feel 100%.
I don't.
The clinic is understaffed and works a short day Monday and a short day Friday. It felt like it was more important for the office staff to leave on time then it was for the patient to get the care they are supposed to receive. (at 6 to 8k + per week I think the patient should come first?) Envita needs to find more dedicated front office staff or pay them a full time salary, just throwing out ideas here.
Some of my protocol was forgotten by the doctor, as were some tests and I was told the reason for forgetting : "it's a staffing issue". So, there were no baselines on some of the tests. How can I tell if my test results are showing improvements if I don't have the baseline test?
The clinic is disorganized and seems like high staff turnover.

When we, as very sick patients, go into a clinic and pay thousands of dollars per week, one would think the clinics "NO PERFUME" policy would be enforced. When we complained, were told the staff didn't want to hurt the feelings of visitors of other patients by asking them to leave when they arrived in clouds of perfume. It was better in the staff's sight to shuffle extremely ill patients to other rooms and accommodate the perfume laden quests rather then the patients who were made physically ill from perfume chemicals.

I am a Lyme patient, STILL.

But the worst part of the story is to come. My daughter chose this clinic because she believed Envita could give her quality of life while fighting cancer. She did have previous conventional treatments.
After 4 weeks of treatment at Envita, she landed in the ER and stayed in the hospital for the good share of a month. The hospital stabilized her and sent her home. She died less then a month later.

Looking back, I don't believe Envita had a chance of saving her life. It's a tough call; take away the hope she might have or take 40k of a dying person's money or be honest?
Since the founder would not look me in the eye when I passed him in the hallway, I felt he knew she didn't have a chance to live on this protocol. But it's hindsight.

If I had to do this all over again, I would have her go to MD Anderson or Cancer Care Centers of America. At least at this large clinics they would have done proper testing and probably saved her from a life threatening infection and many blood transfusions. Maybe she would have had some quality of life.

Envita does have 'patient advocates', but I think there is only really 1. The person that we dealt with antagonized my daughter and upset her for no good reason. I finally had to step in and tell the person to do as my daughter asked and it would solve the question at hand.
All in all, it was a very expensive, non productive (especially if you call death of a family member non productive) frustrating 2 months that I wish we could take back and do over.

I have only experienced the very best care possible at Envita.

I suspect that people who feel what they are getting is overpriced probably either do not have Lyme or a serious enough illness to require targeted treatment, or they do not understand the advantage Envita's approach offers.

Diseases like Lyme are completely ignored at the conventional clinics, especially after the first 6 weeks.

I am surprised that people do not understand how and why Envita is different, and the clinic that properly serves challenging cases like mine: Chronic Lyme that triggers severe Fibromyalgia, a comorbidity that no conventional MD practicing can tackle today. Only unconventional providers like Envita can tackle these diseases and conditions.

Again let me reiterate that my comments above are solely my own opinion and experience. My experience there was several years ago. (Just like this woman's post). Since then I've heard (through my own doctor who has patients who just went) Envita made some changes and that many people feel that they were really helpful and had a wonderful, healing experience and they really liked it there.

My opinions and time spent there were very long ago(years) and people/patients should take that into consideration and NOT be confused that there are any or ongoing problems there.

I completely agree and am so sorry this happened to you. Good for you for speaking out. Envita is well known in the Lyme community and let's just say i don't think it's everyone first choice...,

Hope you find peace and healing. I had a horrible experience there also. Many of the same problems. Stay strong and never give up. A lot of us know your story; don't worry. You and your daughter will never be forgotten. Thank you for sharing this with us. i posted a complaint about this exact story and got threatened with a lawsuit. So I can say this legally: in MY OPINION i believe Envita polices these sites and creates fake accounts to counter negative reviews. In my opinion I believe they intimidate people who post reviews not in their favor (it's very interesting how many of the reviews seem to mysteriously disappear...)

I hate that this happened to you and what I hate even more is that someone truly believes that this review is fake and that you are lying. That is on a completely different level of evil. It's just flat out inhumane. And if that person knew anything about Lyme they would know that when you are truly that sick you are willing to do almost anything and being promised amazing treatments and outcomes based on "new ground-breaking research and personalize treatment plans" one would think that the patient would believe it and/or be hopeful. Being a Lyme patient myself hope is honestly one of the only and last things we have. So to the person above who says this is fake and you should know better, I laugh at you. We laugh at you. You should know better. And maybe have a bit more compassion.

No cancer clinic in the world has a 100% success rate, especially if you only received treatment for four weeks. How are we to know whether it was the first clinics or not that led to your daughter's death? But instead you decide to blame the clinic, rather than accepting that nothing is guaranteed or certain.

Also, yes, of course you are still a Lyme patient. Lyme disease has no known cure. You can only treat the problem. If you were a Lyme patient, you would know that. This review seems fake to me...

Good luck to you in moving forward, and God Bless.
You should definitely research resources and support groups for people in your circumstances.
