Zulekha Hospital Insurance handling

Patient - My kid Kiven.

Very lethargic and inefficient work by insurance handling agents in the counter. They are not efficient enough to coordinate things with doctor, insurance. It more than 3 hours now still my kids medicine is not delivered because of failure of coordination on time. No one is picking [protected] number. (You can check around 9.15 pm - 10.00 pm on 04th March). These people are not getting the seriousness of illnesses.

This is not the first time I’m having bad experiences with insurance department of Zulekha.

Zulekha Hospital Missed information

I was supposed to travel on 7 Oct 2023. However, I received a call from Zulekha Hospital Dubai on 5 Oct 2023 that my surgery had been approved. I have rebooked my flight to do the surgery.

My surgery was booked on 11 Oct 2023, and I completed my anaesthesia test on 6 Oct and blood test. On 10 Oct 2023, my Doctor notified me that my insurance was not yet approved.

With all the above information, I would like to file a complaint about providing inaccurate information.

Zulekha Hospital Paediatric doctor

I am writing this comment with great regret that I was denied appointment to paediatric which I had today at 3:00 pm . I reported to to Zulekha hospital in the night at 10:40 pm as my daughter complained of severe pain, but the front desk didn't accept me saying I cannot open any file as the pediatric doctors duty will be done at 11:00pm.. they told me to request the doctor and then they will open my daughter s file. My question to zulekha is I am ok if it was me, but I came there for my daughter as she complained of pain I certainly thought it was doctor s responsibility to treat her as she was her patient and today was her last followup day. Nurse requested the doctor about my daughter but the doctor denied . I am open to any further discussion. Both the pediatric doctor s denied the service to my daughter although we were before time. I didn't expect this kind of uncultured service from zulekha when it comes to kids treatment. The doctor who denied treatment is Dr Suni and Dr.Prasad.

Zulekha Hospital Medical history request

I am a previous patient of Zulekha Hospital. I’m currently in USA so I can’t go their directly to get my medical history. So tried their WhatsApp chat agent. They didn’t help me and asked me to email front desk.

I emailed them on [protected] requesting urgent medical history reports. They showed ignorance and unprofessionalism. My email has been ignored till this day. I had faith in them that’s I chose them to be my medical provider. I’m so disappointed by their action. I hope this complain reaches their upper management, so they take care of it.

Desired outcome: Release and send medical history as soon as possible

Zulekha Hospital Pharmacy

If your pharmacy cannot handle so many patients, then pls instruct your doctors to prescribe medicine to buy from outside pharmacies. Today I am there in que for 30 minutes, still it may take another 15-20 minutes. Pls note Insurance cleared the approvals in 7 minutes

Zulekha Hospital I did corona test but result not updated

I visited Sharjah branch on 6th January for corona test and paid 125 AED till date the result didn't reflect in Alhosn application I visited the hospital many times without result I want to refund my money back as I never got any services the customer service was unprofessional with dealing with the complaint

Zulekha Hospital Service

O went to oncology for my breast lump issue they didn't guide me properly as a women I'm not comfortable to show my breast to make doctor I went to consult with female doctor but they didn't tell me for taking biopsy sample male doctor will come & do this process, for a week they told me the female doctor which I consulting (Dr. soha) will take the sample I was roaming here & there for taking this biopsy appointment after a week they informed me the female doctor is busy so you need to go with male doctor for biopsy test... I suspect my brust lump might be any cancer lump now think how my mentality will be, whole week I continuesly check with Soha doctor for appointment timing after a week I came to know that female doctor will not take sample I need to go to male doctor, I really felt so bad that why I choose this hospital, male or female doctor they should inform me earlier right in last minute why they informed like this at least I might check with any other hospital for female doctor right, I'm in depression now.

Zulekha Hospital This hospital makes you go at risk.

This hospital is more like a bank. You can't get everything checked at one go. They literally made my father sicker and sicker each day and now he it is at risk. This hospital really needs to change it's policies and not take advantage of the fact that it's the only big private hospital in the Northern Emirates, especially Sharjah. This used to be a good hospital before. Now it's run by incompetent money-greedy staff.

Zulekha Hospital Dr.Rajalakshmi

This is regarding the experienece I had during my delivery at zulekha hospital, I wish no mother has to go through what i went through at thehospital during my first delivery with an ignorant and over confident doctor Dr.Rajalakshmi .
Due to her negligence my baby was in the NICU from day 1 and is still on medication for the devastating trauma my baby faced during the delivery because of her carelessness.We were unaware of what exactly happened to the baby as she lied to us that it was just a shock baby was facing but in reality there was much more that she did not tell us, unless the Neonatology department explained to us after all the necessary examination like Xray, CT scan mri were done that it was because of the doctors negligence she was going through a tough time.

Zulekha Hospital Providing Short Expiry medicine to Customer.
this incident happened with me 3rd Time. i ignored first and second time, but when this has happened with me 3rd time. i contact to available manager, He was supporting to His staff and product only and not ready to listen anything.
Very Bad experience, manager even does not have any manners or sense to talk about the issue and resolved... will avoid going to Zulekha Hpospital Sharjah next time. And writing a official complain to My HR management to Raise with insurance to make issue against them.

Zulekha Hospital Appointment

Every time I visit Dubai hospital 10-15 mins prior to the appointment still had to wait for long today I had waited almost 1 hr after my my appointment time the appointment was @6.45 pm and still it was 7.45 PM.. I was still waiting in reception…. This is really very bad service and not at professionally handle your client…. It's like you don't value the time of clients and take it for granted….

First experience in was bad as receptionist was very rude… I arrived and had take token but she didn't call or token no was shown on board after waiting for 15 mins I went and asked, she rudely answered saying it was already called but it wasn't displayed on board after that waiting for doctor almost for 1 hr… if the u guys are so busy then better don't give an appointment n waste out time…

Is anyone there in the management to look after this.. that patients are taken proper care or else staff are behaving well with the clients

Zulekha Hospital Surgery

I have had a very bad experience with this hospital. My stapedectomy procedure was a failure. I was assured 100% by the doctor that my hearing would be restored after the procedure. But instead of being restored I have lost whatever hearing I had in my ear. Moreover there is infection in the ear which has ruptured the ear drum. The concerned department is not claiming liability for the failed procedure nor have been able to treat the infection. I have suffered tremendous stress both mental & physical due to this failed procedure. I would be humbled if Zulekha Hospital looks into my case and take corrective measures.

Zulekha Hospital Covid test inaccuracy

We went there on march 9 for covid test and we were given 1 queue number since we came as husband and wife. My husband was already very ill, 8days having fever. That time after payment in the cashier we went to reception and the filipina mistakenly called me as eduardo (my husband's name) which I only ignored. Each of our paper has sticker codes, after that we proceeded to the test room. I came in first @ 8:04, then she recorded. Then my husband at 8:05am. We were very sure that my husband's result will be positive only as the symptoms were very evident. But on the following day we got the result that I was the one positive and he was negative. I called the hospital to complain but they kept on telling never could there be any switching or mistakes on their side. They were telling probably my husband was positive and at the time the test was taken, he was no longer having the virus. Because of this result, we couldn't get much of help from dha. Another 2 days have passed and his condition has worsened only. I decided to call DHA again and asked if we could take him to Rashid emergency though his result was negative in Zulekha. After so much explanation that he badly required isolation from home coz we have kids, DHA told to call taxi to take him to rashid emergency. In Rashid he was well examined with blood test, x-ray and this time covid test result came out positive! So Zulekha hospital must have switched the stickers as when I rechecked the tests, my result is @ 8:05 my husband @ 8:04. And the lady calling me my husband's name means big possibility of 'switch'!

Please advice your lady staff who is working as cashier at zulekha hospital dubai (nahda)

Pleaae advice her to be polite and good with patients or customers who come to her
Shes always been seen behaving in a hash way with people who comes
Even I worked as customer support please this is not the way she behave with patients or customers

This not the first time im seeing her this attitude since 4 months shes always being like this with us.

Zulekha Hospital Cardiologist doctor and staff Jayachandran

Worst hospital where the patient instead of getting treatment is subjected to rude doctor whose only diagnostic is how to make money talking of cardiologist doctor jayachandran my experience was so bad that I have written how I was treated rudely being a cardiac angioplasty patient after paying the money they are asking me to go to other floors to verify the payment the receptionist on 6th floor is rude plus another man who came there same and when I told the doctor he says did I tell u to come u can leave and take your money back this hospital is horror house I got asthma attack and anxiety attack there thank God I had my medicine as no one came to assist me or give me oxygen I will put this in all social media and consumer court and gulf news I will make it my life commitment to disclose this hospital malpractice chandru Motwani [protected]
I have all document proof payment and also you can check there camera that I am telling the truth I just had angioplasty in qassimi hospital as qassimi hospital doctor told to come after 30 days when I asked appointment the hospital refused so to get check up and medicine outlined I took appointment in zulekha first the doctor jayachandran he was only interested in how much other test will cost me and if hospital is expensive he can suggest his friend clinic who will do cheap in rolla sharjah where he can get commission than he said I need to take covid-19 injection and for that no objection letter from cardiologist needed he can give me for 700 and he was rude when all the problem outside happen he takes away my test report which was made and tells me to take my refund and that he had not called me he is a very sick arrogant doctor who instead of treating people will kill them with anxiety I have never faced anything such as this in 35 years of my life in Dubai

Zulekha Hospital Placenta residue

I delivered on 3rd oct 2020 and till date 17/12/2020 am having heavy bleeding .. kept on going and checking up with the same doctor that had me deliver my baby through c section and she kept on denying that it was her fault that she didnt clean me up properly! Going back and forth to her just increasing the dose of the medicine without giving me a clear explanation about what was going on and why after 2 and a half months am still having heavy bleeding with lower abdominal pain!
Until i went to 2 different doctors to get their opinion and they simply, directly told me that it was a placenta residue and i have to do curettage immediately as this could affect my health on the long run! Worst hospital ever and i will sue you guys for such horrible doctors you have and playing with your patients health!

Zulekha Hospital Complaint against Dr. Davinder Singh Saluja

Pasting from the complaint mail sent to Zulekha email ..

"Hi, I want a proper investigation, reply and action on this incident, I don't want any other parents face this again .

On July, 3 Friday My daughter had 101.5 degree fever, and 2 days before that she had smell from ears, so we decided to visit Dr Davinder at Zulekha Dubai.
Doctor examined her ears and said ears are clean and clear and instructed for CBC blood and Urine tests and and also Prescribed Anti-Biotic to be given after the blood reports comes in.

When blood reports came(Attached here), WBC total count was low . A nurse called me up and said there is infection found in the blood and to start anti-biotic course, I was confused as I know WBC shoots up NOT down for an infection, and shared the reports to another reputed Doctor friend of mine for a second opinion, he explained to me that from the blood reports there is no definite reason to start antibiotics. If baby is stable, monitor for a day or two and if concerns persist, you could start antibiotic (or based on discussion with Dr Davinder). White cell count on lower side is often seen in viral infections.

So I continued Adol for 1 and a half day and Now my baby got better and fever was completely gone.

Now, I had the knowledge and a doctor friend of mine to guide me, what about others, or even me, I would have blindly started giving anti-biotics to my baby harming her in god knows how many ways .Will the doctor do the same to a kid from his family ? I am deeply concerned and hurt, please do a proper investigation why Doctor and Nurse were careless in my case and god knows how many other unreported cases "

Zulekha Hospital Multiple uncleared answer of gyne doctor

I would like to write this complaint to zulekha hospital and DHA and other forums also as my wife delivered baby in zulekha hospital dubai it was cesarian delivery i am not sure how they did this operation as after that she got infection i do not know what they did in operation as they make our life hell after this operation daily we are visiting hospital morning and nights for new new tests as my wife operation area is not healing and blood is coming from there now doctor want us to take second opinion from other doctor in same hospital as he is more expert and she want us to do dressing daily at home now my wife she is in pain and totally uncomfortable and moreover customer service manager he has zero knowledge and does not want to listen anything i do not know why he sit there only for formality or to do something i will report this to higher managment of uae and try to investigate either they have professional and qualified staff for operation or only they are earning money from insurance
