They did a grate job removin a giant oak over our home. The team was clean and courteous. The guys saved a honey bee hive and several flyin squires in the process. The price was more competitive than other quotes we received. We will use them in the future.

Don't use them. I hired them to remove 3 trees in November . It wasn't until the mowing season started in 2022 that I discovered their crew had broken the PVC conduit for the underground Electrical Service Entrance Cable to my house. They're denying it, but they're the only ones who've been on my property since November . You can't trust them with your money.

Dont use these guys. Im a GC and I hired them to cut down 11 or so trees and remove stumps and roots, what they did was remove the trees and buried the stumps and roots and leveled the dirt so that I wouldnt know until I started digging my footings. 2 weeks later after they were paid in full I started my footings and found 4' round stumps and 1' roots, when I contacted them to come back they would not. Bad company.

The Above the Rest crew came into our town, Houma LA after Hurricane Ida. After reaching out to them, Tim promptly provided an estimate that we agreed on. Chris was also helpful in explaining issues about some of the damaged trees on our property. They were able to remove a large tree perched precariously on our chicken coop & run without further damage. We were impressed with their competence, professional, and friendliness. We would definitely recommend them.

Dont trust them. They messed up our fence when they took out the trees. We still gave them money cuz they said they would fix it. We trusted them. But they never came back. Every week I called and asked nicely and they said sorry and they would come back. This happened a lot. I got proof - their name on the new cost sheet, their lies on the chat. Trust me. Its been like a month and still nothing. What happened to being honest?

Horrible company - "above the rest tree service". After finishing the job of cutting down a big dead oak in my yard, ATR cut down one in a neighbors yard. They dropped the last load of limbs from my neighbors tree in my yard and drove away. I tried for 2 weeks to get them to remove the limbs. They have ignored my calls and texts. I also asked for the proof of certification and insurance the HOA wants. They have ignored those requests also. On top of that they trashed my backyard while cutting down the oak. Horrible company. Zero customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid Above the Rest Tree Service!

I wanna say, this company, Above The Rest Tree Service LLC, is a total disaster. Seriously, don't even think about using them. So, get this, they came up to us while they were working in our hood and offered to do a big job for us. Two guys came over, checked out our place, gave us a quote, and said they'd be back that week. But guess what? They didn't show up not once, not twice, but three times! Can you believe it? I had to call them again and they had the nerve to say they don't have time to call every client on their schedule. Like, seriously? That's just plain rude.

So, I decided to call their office and spoke with this guy named Matt. Finally, they showed up with their crew to remove nine trees. But then, this dude named Jeff tells us that we gotta pay an extra 3k on top of the original quote because apparently, these trees are like some special forest trees or something. What the heck? These are the exact same trees that they checked out and quoted us for! Talk about being shady and trying to rip us off.

And here's the worst part, they're still out there, going around our community and other neighborhoods, targeting old folks and demanding more money from them. It's just not right, man. I even tried looking them up on the DBPR, but they're nowhere to be found. Something needs to be done about these scammers.

Today, on 11/22, this business trimmed my neighbor's tree. But, uh-oh, they made a big mistake! Some huge branches fell on my brand-new roof, and even more gigantic branches fell in my backyard, wrecking my fence and my fancy grill. I told one of the workers about it, and I asked him to let his boss know. But guess what? He didn't do it! So, before the whole crew left, I insisted on speaking to the boss. They pointed me to this guy named Christopher, and let me tell you, he was a real jerk! He had the nerve to ask me what I wanted him to do about it. Well, duh! I told him straight up that I wanted my grill and fence fixed. But he flat-out refused to handle it nicely, and he even acted all rude in front of my neighbor who hired them. Can you believe it? Outrageous! So, I called the company not once, but twice! I spoke to two different offices and I made it clear that I wanted someone to get in touch with me ASAP. Oh, and by the way, I found out that the owner's name is Jeffrey M from Ormond Beach. And just to add to the mess, my roof and skylight got damaged too, along with another grill. Can you believe the nerve of these guys?

I got a knock on my door asking for a quote on tree service. I agreed to the quote of $1700 and they started the job. We discussed exactly what services would be provided. Unfortunately, they didn't finish the job because it was getting late, but they still wanted payment. The workers kept working, but they left two areas untouched. The salesman assured us it wasn't a problem and said they would come back to finish. They even added another branch to the quote for $150. This all happened on 4.22.21 and I've talked to different people, but they have refused to come back and complete the job. I have copies of text messages exchanged, but they keep making promises without following through. Last time, they even accused me of lying and blamed me for paying for an unfinished job.

I hired this company to remove an oak tree and trim a plant that was making my fence bulge. We agreed on $2300 for the job. They came on 3/14 to do the work. They banged the tree parts into the ground and messed up my irrigation system. Water flooded my yard right away. They called the city to turn off the water and called a plumber to fix it. The plumber left around 8:30 pm on Monday saying he fixed three leaks. I didn't check the area until Thursday morning and saw my yard flooded again. The damaged area was exposed and water was bubbling up. I called the tree service and they told me to call back after the same plumber checked it again. The plumber found more leaks that he didn't see on Monday because of the damage. They told me they hadn't been paid and wanted $700 to fix the original leaks from Monday when the tree parts hit the pipes. They also wanted $500 for the new damage. I tried calling "Above the Rest Tree service" but got no call back. After leaving a couple of messages, the voicemail said it was full and no one called back. I didn't have water for several days because of this. They also cut my cable line when the tree parts hit the ground. And they didn't finish trimming the plant that was making the fence bulge. They only cut one side but didn't trim the overgrowth like they said they would.

I contacted Above the Rest Tree Service on 7.12.22 for a quote. I needed some palm trees removed, a couple of trees and branches (total of 7 trees). They said they would grind stumps and remove tips. They were supposed to do the work on 7.14, but on 7.13, they called and said they had a cancellation and could come earlier. I agreed since I work from home. They came and asked if they could remove one side of the fence to fit their machines. I agreed because they said they would put it back as they found it. They finished the job, or so I thought. They left without nailing the fence back properly. Instead, they just laid it against the poles and left. I had to get my father to help me tie it with ropes. A couple of days later, my neighbor told me there were tree branches on her side. Above the Rest didn't mention anything about leaving the branches or needing to retrieve them. I had to go to her property and move the branches to my backyard. I also noticed that three stumps were not fully ground. I still have half of the stumps on the ground. I have been calling non-stop, but they either don't answer or their voicemail is full. When I did manage to speak to someone, they promised to send someone the following week to fix the problem. However, that week passed, and I had to keep calling. Finally, I got through to someone again. They sent someone with a truck to pick up the branches, but he couldn't do the stumps because he didn't have the grinding machine. He said I was on the "roster" and someone would come later to finish the job, but that never happened. I have called repeatedly since then, but either I get no answer or they promise to have someone call me back, which they don't. And if they do call back, they just say whatever they want to get me off the phone. I paid $2700.
