A screen popped up saying I was the billion hit on duck duck. I switched from google to duck duck recently. Then I was told I could win $1000 on Amazon when drilling down I was asked for a credit card.

This is a total scam and I’m surprised. Perhaps I should go back to google?

I woke up to use my duckduckgo app it was completely gone after an update. All of my important bookmarks were gone! I run a business!

My duckduckgo tracker was going I waited months on the waiting list for this.

My email protection was disabled. I waited months for this as well.

I was able to reset the email protection. But what of my tracker and my bookmarks! I need them back now!🤬

Below is an error message that I get far too often when using their search engine. It is self explanatory. Duck duck go fmdo not respond to my complaints.

I am trying to understand the reason you boast about how good you- I bought it! And, even told everyone I know to use your site. However, when I go to investigate a subject, I have to go through at least 3 to 5 ad sites to get to a site that I may find helpful in my search. Very Annoying.

Also, I so disappointed to see 5 complaints resolved out of 141. ? Really? Wow! I thought you guys were better than that.

And, you should also let people know that if you share a complaint, you must give out your name and email before it can be sent. Shameful.

Now, much more disappointed.

You have blocked them before. Why Does it keep happening over and over and over?

You're spending a ton of money on TV ads. How about taking care of your customers?

yesterday I found out that my Google account was signed in by a Mac user on January 12 and January 14 I have been using DDG for months now and enjoyed it very much until now also two weeks ago I made reservations at a hotel for a weekend and my dates somehow got mixed up lost my reservation and lost my $92 as I'm reading all the reviews, im putting 2&2 together.. DDG is not so private after all is it why would I be hacked and these last couple of months my debit card has been getting drained out without me spending I want to get to the bottom of it also been looking for a customer service number or something nothing but this can someone please reach back out to me thank you so much

I have been recommending DuckDuck go like 20x a day to people who are on google and getting CENSORED information for the last 2 years. Recently I noticed you are starting to put on garbage information like google. Please STOP. DuckDuckGo is the only place people with brains have left to go to do "searches."

Duckduckgo, my ad blocker, has been great for years but no more!
Google has put their "ad" for Total Adblock on every page!
You blocked them but now they're back again. Why? What's going on?
Are you capable of blocking their ad or not?
What are you going to do?
Please help me get rid of this invasive and persistent ad from Google's Total Adblock.

GOOGLE keeps invading my FIREFOX internet space with ads for their Google sponsored TOTAL AD BLOCK. I have protested many, many tomes on their FB page to no avail. Again today I posted: AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AD NAUSEUM! GET YOUR F'N GOOGLE SPONSORED AD FOR TOTAL AD BLOCK OFF MY INTERNET SPACE! THE O.N.L.Y AD I GET IS YOURS! DUCKDUCKGO BLOCKS EVERYTHING ELSE, AND HAS FOR YEARS. YOU REALLY THINK YOU OWN OUR INTERNET SPACE. NOT! GET THE F'K OUT OF MY FIREFOX SPACE NOW!

Please provide the steps to change the default DuckDuckGo mapping search result from Apple Maps to Google Maps. It's my choice, not yours, to make. You've assumed I am happy with the choice that you made for your default mapping service and I do respect your privilege to do so. You must, however, allow for users like myself to choose their own preferences and you're not doing that with Maps. If workaround steps are possible, then I'll use them to reset to Google Maps and thank you for your response. If DDG does not permit users to choose their own map service provider, then you will lose me as a customer. I am aware that Google collects and resells data from its software users and I accept that. I don't like it either, however, the benefits outweigh the offense of lost privacy. Please advise.

I have gotten some posts suggesting that I should follow the the "Top" at Goodreads but I didn't do that in the past. I just wrote about one book "Hið helga orð" which concerns literacy and pornography crime.
It seems like some "info power pervert "is behind this that does whatever he pleases and takes advents of a person's personal information. I am not saying it is the "Top" of Good reads but some kind of information engineer that lacks work ethics. Delete this threat please thank you.

If you are searching anything for your kids, forget about it! I am so sick and tired of finding porn no matter what I look up. If your search has a woman's name, there will be disgusting endless images of naked women and even worse website titles. I have ptsd and am a narcissistic abuse survivor, I don't need this garbage. My last search was Frida, by the way.

Have used the search engine for years just found out about your racist hiring practices Lauren Chen video. Frankly it's a poor search engine but now I have no need to stay. You guys stink, do you not realise you are hurting real people and as usual lefties claiming the moral high ground

I love using DuckDuckGo, but there are a few things you could improve.
1. Lately, you generally have not been getting anywhere close to the proper suggestions for queries, requiring me to go to Google for the answer anyway.
2. Just because you track my location, doesn't mean that's where I am. You should stop doing that. I often use a VPN for the UK and the search results you provide are not always accurate for America where I am physically located.
3. Most people do not like having Parental Controls for Adult Content turned on by default. You should stop doing that.
If you want to be more like Google without the Trackers, DON't Track ANYTHING having to do with your users.
Don't CENSOR content based on what YOU think people should be looking at.
Don't make the answer so generalized they have no relevance to the question asked.

Keep getting this with iconical app the operation couldn't be completed. (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork error 303.) when trying to localhost paste and go...This just started after setting ddg as default browser on ipad 5 ios 14.8...Checked the web but no firm answer how to correct it. I believe it could be a privacy issue and apple or ddg may be able to get it changed.. Thanks, Hugh
