I had a bad experience with Web Districts (webdistricts.com). They told me that they would charge me a flat fee of $500 for my website, but I ended up paying approximately $1200 because there were always hidden fees for one thing or another. Recently, on May 17th, 2022, they tried to charge me another fee to make my website mobile responsive and for Search Engine submission, even though the original email confirmed that it was included in my package.

It took them a long time to make my website go "live" - from November 2021 up until yesterday, May 17th, 2021. However, even though my website is now "live," it can't be searched for. In order for people to see it, I have to provide them with the website link directly. When I tried accessing my website by typing my URL on the browser, it indicated that my site can't be reached.

I feel like I was scammed by Web Districts. I would advise others to be careful and take their money somewhere else where they will be upfront and honest with you and deliver what they promise.

We had a terrible experience with Web Districts. We lost a whopping $10,000 and waited for 5 long months for them to deliver their services. To make matters worse, they made us pay extra for images and content. It was a nightmare dealing with them. We strongly believe that this company should be stopped from conducting any business with any US or Global company. Their lack of understanding of anything is evident that they are not in the US. We are currently trying to recover codes from them, but they just don't seem to care. We will definitely be taking them to court. All the positive posts you see on Google have been done by them. They create their names and everything else and are not in the US. The address on their website is fake as we have sent someone there to verify. We urge you to report this company if they have caused you any problems. The other part of the site was more complex, but I'm actually glad that I didn't pay them the extra money they wanted to do what they originally said they could. At this point, I am submitting a formal dispute.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Web Districts. They claimed to be able to do what I needed, but in reality, they just couldn't seem to understand my vision for the site. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for website design services.

They gave me one price up front, but then later on, they said I needed to pay more for various "necessary" additions. I didn't want to spend any more money, but then my site was suddenly taken over by malware. They said it could only be fixed by paying more money. It was like they were holding my site hostage! Even after I shared with them that I had a recent death in the family, they repeatedly texted me to get an answer about spending more money. They didn't care about me or my situation. They just wanted my money.

I finally decided to separate from them and sent a cease and desist letter. I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake as me. Don't do business with Web Districts!

I had a really bad experience with Web Districts. I don't think the previous reviews are real because my experience was terrible. I paid $1000 for a website and it took forever to get to see the website. They kept trying to sell me more products and I felt like they were just trying to take my money. I asked for my money back and they told me I waited too long. The project started in July and I asked for a refund in August when the project still wasn't done. I think this is a scam site from India and they don't actually know how to create a website. Everyone on the site is using fake names.

They did create a decent logo, which I was willing to compromise a portion of the refund for. Out of desperation and exhaustion, I asked them to please finish the project and give me instructions so I could finish it myself. Can you imagine paying for something you have to finish yourself? They sent me instructions that I still cannot open. I asked for a refund again and they told me the project was finished at my request, so I couldn't get a refund even though their website says they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Please don't waste your money like I did. I'm pretty sure an elementary school kid with Minecraft skills could do better. The words on the website are too big on mobile platforms, so it's unusable as a commerce site. It's a complete waste of money.

WebDistricts is a company that claims to be a registered business in the state of New York and has its production office in Los Angeles, CA. However, my experience with them was absolutely HORRIBLE. I had used Design Proficient to create and host my website, but all of a sudden, it went DOWN without any explanation. When I called to inquire about the issue, I spoke to a man named "Joe Louis" in NY, who claimed to be the Project Manager. He informed me that Design Proficient had been auctioned off because of misleading consumers and that WebDistrict had bought them and their database.

I was shocked and frustrated when I found out that I would need to PAY to get my website back up and running. My company had purchased the "Lifetime Package," and we were receiving nasty and unprofessional emails from this Manager. It was clear that our website and business were being SABOTAGED, and we had paid almost $10k for this less than a year ago! The Manager even had the audacity to say, "You may try suing we have received thousands of similar threats in the past." This was a direct email quote from the Company!

I am now filing Complaints with the Attorney General and The Secretary of State in both NY and CA. I urge everyone to BEWARE of WebDistricts and their shady practices. To make matters worse, I was also told that Junaid Mansoor "David Louis" owns the company and is in Pakistan. It's clear that this company is not to be trusted.

I received a verification email from the "Manager" stating that our account was "taken over." The email read, "This email is to inform you that we are taking the complete project under our ownership now. Further, if you would like to get the website and domain, you will have to pay the penalty as well along with domain and hosting renewal." This is unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from a company that claims to be legitimate.

In conclusion, I would not recommend WebDistricts to anyone. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and clearly not trustworthy. Save yourself the headache and find a different company to work with.

This has been the biggest mistake of my life. These guys are con artists, plain and simple. I never thought I'd be the sucker, but it can happen to anyone. There are two things you can expect from them: they'll promise deadlines they can't keep and they'll keep asking for more and more money.

I hired them in June 2021 and was promised delivery in 8-10 weeks. At the start, I asked Alfie Solomons for a breakdown of all expected costs, but he never provided it. I should have cut my losses early on and blocked his calls. Month after month went by with minimal progress and only excuses as to why it's taking so long. They would constantly call and ask for more money, presenting it as a "must be done" situation. There were times when weeks would go by without an update or just a phone call on progress. The only time I ever heard from Alfie was when he wanted more money. Finally, 5 months after hiring them, in November 2021, I had enough and took extreme action that caught the attention of the head of the company. He promised the website would be live by December and that no one would be asking for more money. What a blatant lie! They only did enough to get the website live by December 1st, but there were many issues with product presentation that took forever to fix. The back end/Admin portal was far from complete, and they said that work on the back end was considered site maintenance. The requests for more money continued. At the beginning of March 2022, the back end of the site still had problems they promised would be fixed by January. During the last week, I got a call from a new person who is supposed to be my new contact, asking for more money for some new upgrade that supposedly just "has" to be done. I've finally reached my breaking point and refused to spend another penny.

I'm ashamed of myself for the amount of money I let these crooks take from me. I remember thinking at times that I've already invested so much I need to see it through or it's all been for nothing. What I spent is gone, and I'll never see it again. I'll have to live with that. But hopefully, my review will help new people researching these guys and save them from making the same mistake I did. I wouldn't recommend Web Districts to anyone. I had a terrible experience with them. I paid a whopping $999 for a website, but the result was just plain awful. I mean, seriously, a 10-year-old kid could have done a better job. They just threw in some random Google images and called it a website. It was so absurd that I couldn't believe my eyes.

To make matters worse, when I asked for a refund, they refused to give me one. They didn't even acknowledge the poor quality of their work. It was like they didn't care about their customers at all.

And if that wasn't enough, I found out that they were showing websites done by other companies as their own work. This is a pure scam, and I wouldn't trust them with anything.

To make matters worse, I also paid them $2,000 for Real Estate Data IDX connectivity, which they claimed they had their own connectivity for. However, they never delivered it. It was a complete waste of my money and time. I strongly advise anyone considering using Web Districts to avoid them at all costs.

What's even more concerning is that the company refuses to provide Form 9, which suggests that they are not a legitimate company in the US. It's clear that they are not trustworthy and are only out to scam people. Don't make the same mistake I did and stay far away from Web Districts.

One of the biggest issues I had with Web Districts was that they transferred my domain to a place called NameCheap without my authorization. And when I asked them to transfer it back, they told me that I would have to pay them $395 to do so. Needless to say, I was not happy about this.
