Dubai Duty Free Iphone shop cashier George he scam my money

25 th September I purchased I phone 14 pro at your dubai duty free shop , I purchased by euros I given my cash to Mr. George he took my money without counting he went another side after he came, he gave me wrong count, am missing my 350 euros as per my all bank transactions, kindly give me solution about this scam, am sure cashier George did this , I trust that time because of your big brand, so give me the solution as soon as possible...

Dubai Duty Free Millennium millionaire sales

Hi,

I have just passed through DXB DF and attempted to buy a MM ticket at the currency exchange in concourse C at 17.10 on 29 July. The lady behind the counter was completely inept and did not have a clue what she had to do to make a sale. She was insisting on see a paper copy of my boarding pass, in a terminal where EK do not issue paper boarding passes. She then was expecting me to email a copy of my boarding pass to an address she had to obtain off someone over the phone. Talk about disorganized. I am amazed that in a time when EK has gone paperless DDF has not updated their process to suit. I the end I was so frustrated by the lady in questions complete lack of customer service that I walked away annoyed and frustrated, with a very bitter taste in my mouth of how I have been treated. I have been using DXB regularly for over 20 years and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. DDF need to up its game and move with the times. I think it is outrageous that when EK makes a significant change in its process DDF are not prepared for the change.

Desired outcome: DDF needs to change its systems to be able to accept mobile boarding passes for sales transactions at its kiosks within the terminal selling MM tickets. It seems to work at all the other shops.

Dubai Duty Free Perfumes

I visited terminal 3 today and purchased an item from the Perfumes - Cosmetics area. I discussed with the sales agent to purchase Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, but she has in fact sold me Vanille Fatale. I did not ask for this product and do not like it. I only just realised now as I was unwrapping the cling film. I am not going to use this and would like the correct product, Tuscan Leather.

The sale was made at 22/07/2023 13:07:16, cashier was 13423-Huyu. My flight was EK067 to London Stansted and my name is Matthew Kearns.

You can watch the CCTV at the times mentioned if required to prove that I was asking for Tuscan leather.

Desired outcome: I am returning back to Dubai 12/8 and would like someone to arrange a way to hand this unwanted item back and get the one I actually wanted.

Dubai Duty Free Guerlain EDP Cherry Oud

I bought a perfume from Dubai duty free on march 10th 2023 when flying onto Phuket. I bought the above perfume, the perfume is faulty I have contacted Dubai duty free to receive an unacceptable email. Also the perfume wasn’t cheap. I was told to send a pic or video of the faulty product which I have done and have received the response that I should send it back with family/friends travelling to Dubai. I don’t have or know anyone that is travelling there anytime soon. So what I am supposed to do? I have suggest I’d send it back but want postage refunded as the item is faulty:

Dubai Duty Free Missing payment

Hi I would like to file a complaint.

I, Hafsa Inam, resident of Pakistan travelled to Portugal via Dubai on 17th Feb 2023.

I bought a 500ml 7up and 500ml water bottle from duty free shop, I requested to pay in euro and the person at counter asked me to pay 2 euros.

I payed 50 euros and he returned 48 dirhum which were -180 dirhum when converted to dirhums. I am a new traveller and weren’t aware that I can get scammed like this.

I want to request to return the missing amount. I’ll be grateful.

Dubai Duty Free DJI Mini 2 Combo Drone Was Defective

I have purchased a new DJI Mini 2 Combo pack from 1011 CB Mobiles-Cameras, Dubai Duty-free while transit via Dubai.

Salesman of the shop did not allow to inspect the item.

After reach home I unboxed and switch on the Drone and RC for tring out. Within few minutes suddenly remote controller was power off itself and never power up.

Then I tried to re charge it but failed. Non of the indicator bulb lite up when connect to charger.

The problem was informed to customer service email on 4th January. They have just given an email no as [protected].

But until now (16 January) they didn't solve the matter. Just sending mails and time passing.

Very poor after sales services, not allow to inspect the items prior purchases and selling substandard items.

Dubai Duty Free Urgent Complaint Regarding the product being of bad quality which is purchased from Dubai Duty-free

Urgent Complaint Regarding the product being of bad quality. On Date:06-10-2022 I purchased cigarettes from Dubai duty-free I opened the box and found that cigarettes have moisture from inside, like a lot of old stock kept in Dubai duty-free.

I am very unhappy that Dubai is duty-free to serve expired products to their customers which is very shameful. For proof, I am attaching your invoice for purchased products and also the photo of the product.

It's really unfortunate to say that next time I never buy any product from Dubai Duty-free and also recommend to my friends never ever buy anything from Dubai Duty-Free.

My Humble request is to refund my amount priority.

Dubai Duty Free Staff at the duty free counter

I would like to file a complaint regarding a staff F Mariano (12758) at the D gates on 15 September at 23:02, she was discriminative towards me particular as while standing in the que, people standing in front of me was not maintaining social distance with the customer ahead, but when I just moved little ahead and tried picking my stuff to hold in my hand, she snapped saying stay back stay back, maintain distance and she was shrugging me off, the best part customer standing behind me was not maintains social distance but she didn’t say a word to him, as an Indian she was racist! Not acceptable, kindly look in the matter

Dubai Duty Free Hand luggage 🧳

Dear sir,

On Monday 29th August 22,I was sheduled to board flights ✈️ EK703 from Dubai to Mauritius at 10.05am.

Next to Giraffe coffee there is a Duty free shop I bought a Delsey hand bag1 gift bag around 8.30 am .while take coffee I put all my plastic perfume and some valuable item +2 mobiles 📱 Samsung A51 and A73.welost it security alerted.

Dubai Duty Free The product we bought at ddf

To whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter to complain to you about the misinformation of Duty free Dubai. We flighted on July 19 - emirates airline to Singapore and Singapore to Philippines flight via ( Jetstar airways )

We purchased 3 bottles of liquor ( 1ltr each ) from Dubai Duty free But before we bought we asked the salesman and cashier if it’s allowed to bring those liquor even thought we have connecting flight via Singapore. The salesman and the cashier confirmed that yes we can bring.

We of course became complacent but unfortunately when we reached Singapore they did not allow us to bring the liquors inside the flight. We informed that we had been informed in Dubai Duty free that it was allowed but the Personal in baggage scan area still firmed that it was wrong information from Dubai Duty free and they had informed us they sent a multiple reminder email to Dubai Duty Free but they’re not complying. The personal called Mr. Arwin ( shift executive in Jetstar Flight and he confirmed that it was prohibited unless it was in sealed packaging from Dubai Free. He was informed the liquor box should be sealed with and Raped with Special packing. If we only knew that it was not allowed to bring that item I would not have purchased it in Dubai Duty Free.

Dubai Duty Free Card not accepted when trying to purchase ticket for Millenium Millionaire

I have been buying tickets for the Millenium Millionnaire for years now. I had never had a problem but suddenly 3 months ago it stopped accepting my card. I even got a new card and replaced my other cards but I keep on getting a message that "Your credit card has been declined, please use an alternative card."

I have sent mails and tried to contact the desk but nobody responds to my requests.

Desired outcome: I just want my account fixed so that I can purchase a ticket.

Dubai Duty Free samsung active 2 watch which I only used for 1 week

Hi

I bought a watch from DDF and was only able to use it for 1 week. And I sent this through one of my friends and I have still not received my cash refund. All details can be found in RE: [protected] - Samsung Galaxy Active 2 (approved; refund in progress).
It is really so frustrating and I am really surprised how long Dubai been such a developed country to process a cash refund. Hoping to hear soon and I will never think that I will have a positive outlook on Dubai Duty-free purchases ever again!

Dubai Duty Free bill money deducted twice by sales girl timou using pos machine. she took in aed and same amount in indian rupees

I bought some stuff from dubai duty free last sunday 15th dec'19 and I've asked to take money in INR RUPEES for my payment. The sales girl, she inserted my card and selected INR option and I've entered my password for total amount so there was some network issue and sales girl suddenly removed my card and inserted again asked me to enter pin again in amount in AED 215. I did enter and money got deducted. I was on roaming so dis not get transaction message at that time but when I've arrived india the transaction amount deducted in INR 4250 and AED 215 so I paid twice. And it is reflecting in my credit card statement.

Can you please check and reimburse my INR amount.

Dubai Duty Free fake jewellery

Bought two pieces of jewellery from Dubai duty free terminal 3, 1016 CB gift shop from Dubai on 16th Nov 2017.
It states as silver and nature stone. After I came back to Australia, went to a valuer to check. It turned out the "nature stone" are bakelite plastic and glass. It's not even silver when it both had 925 stamps on them.
Emailed to Dubai duty free, they kept asking me to return in person or post back to them. While they have the same stock in the shop they can investigate. This is very poor attitude, as they know we are international travelers and cannot easily go back to Dubai like visit the shopping centre down the road.

I am not sure is this just individual shop inside the duty free thing or it's cross the whole airport. But the management attitude is very poor.

Now I don't trust anything they sell in the shops are real and legit as they said. Don't buy any jewellery in there for sure.

Dubai Duty Free raw cashew nuts

We regularly purchase raw cashew nuts at Dubai Duty Free in Terminal 3 as we are Emirates airline Gold Card holders. In November we purchased two packets. When we opened the first packetise discovered they were soft and did not have the usual crunch to them. We checked they were still within the sell By date. As we were travelling again yesterday, 30th November 2019, we decided to return the nuts.

We asked for a manager and a gentlemen came to speak to us he said he could do nothing, firstly because one pack was opened. We explained that we would not have known that they were inferior if we had not opened the packet to eat them. Unfortunately, we did not have a receipt but as they were clearly shown as Dubai Duty Free and well within their "best by" date we did not think that should be a problem.

He said it was procedure he could fo nothing. We were most disappointed by this attitude and consider it un @acceptable. While the cost of the peanuts is nit a big amount we think, on principle, we should have received, and expected better service.

Dubai Duty Free misleading price tag and caused to double billed

Hi Sir / Madam,

I am writing to complaint about the misleading price tag at the Dubai duty free at Airport.

I purchased the 2 *50 ml Clarin Sunblock set which displayed with price of AED 236. however I was billed AED 424 when I checked my bill.

Bought 2 set and cost me paid extra.
