DK Hardware Supply Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. In the six months since I placed the order the product has evidently become unavailable and they replaced it with another brand. After they said they would ship to me four months after my initial order I finally contacted them a month later when it did not show up. They are now going to extort another $13 from me before they will ship it. The Manager was uncooperative. I would not recommend doing business with DK Hardware.

Recommendation: I would not recommend doing business with DK Hardware.

DK Hardware Supply Badly Bungled Order - Shorted Refund

I have reviewed my VISA account and found that DK Hardware has shorted me on my purchase refund.

On Oct. 13 I paid $599.98 for an order. On Oct. 19 I was refunded $567.05 for the same order. The refund is $32.93 short.

This order was completely mismanaged by DK Hardware. It was ignored for five days. When I inquired about it's status, I was told that there were inventory issues and that there would be an additional 1 to 2 weeks delay for the order. Then I was e-mailed and told that that information was erroneous. I then received another e-mail that told me that my home shipping address was not sufficient. Then I received another e-mail that said that my home shipping address was okay. Then I received another e-mail that said that there would be an additional $83.53 for shipping added to my order. To make for a total of $166.00 for shipping. I was asked if I wanted to proceed with the order. As this shipping cost is utterly ridiculous compared to simply using US Post, I replied that 'no', I did not want to proceed with the order. I asked when a full refund would be seen in my VISA account and was told 1 to 2 business days. I have now reviewed the VISA account and found that I was not refunded the full purchase cost. It is short by $32.93.

Recommendation: Look Elsewhere

DK Hardware Supply Order was never shipped

On 7/7 I placed an order with DK Hardware, after about 3 weeks I contacted live support and they confirmed the item hadn't been shipped and would contact me when it shipped. They gave no estimated date, no information at all.

I requested a refund, I'm expecting that to be a hassle as well, so I'll just call my bank and have them handle it, and send a nice letter to the BBB.

I would not recommend this company.

Recommendation: If you don't mind paying for something you probably won't get, go ahead and waste your money

DK Hardware Supply I ordered 1/4" glass clamps and placed my order

I ordered 1/4" glass clamps and placed my order. After waiting a few days I was wondering where my shipment confirmation was so I called in and was informed that the product was on back order. The website stated that it was "in stock" so that was pretty frustrating and I missed my deadline to get the glass installed. It would have been nice for them to change their "In Stock" status if they have that icon.

I ordered one handle. Good quality so ordered second handle for another bathroom. Not same quality. Light weight. Spray paint runs down handle. Called customer service and never got anyone on phone. Sending back for refund.

I really would like to offer a higher rating however, it seems that subpar customer service response is a pervasive problem with this company. There was no response/follow through based on several email communications and probably the most problematic was that when I kept asking for tracking information, I was ignored. When our 2 Kevlar sheets were delivered out of the blue without any warning we were so lucky that there were men on site to handle hundreds of pounds of material; otherwise, they would have just been dumped in the parking lot. This experience would not preclude us from potentially doing business again in the future however, it would prompt us to approach our business relationship with a different demeanor.

I am not happy with the time frame on delivery. It took over two weeks to ship to me and I had to call and check on the order to find out it was back=ordered. I gave one star out of courtesy only, I really should have give a minus. I will not order from this company again.

I ordered a part in July *** February 2023 so called them and they said it is on indefinite back order. Maybe I am jumping to conclusions but it seems that they make some, if not a lot, of their money through theses sort of orders. Maybe they hope customer will forget and not complain if its only a few bucks? You decide if you want to take the risk.

fast delivery; exactly what I needed; I would not think twice about further business with DK. ALL companies have had shipping interruptions due to covid. I cannot understand if someone had real problems with orders and untimely delivery of the product, why did you order more ? I'm sure there are other companies who can supply your needs. I wonder if you sent a poor review to the gasoline suppliers when there were lines for gasoline due to people hoarding.

DK Hardware Supply Had frameless shower installed 2 years ago

Had frameless shower installed 2 years ago. The fixed glass at the door hinge was unstable and flexing every time the door opened. Since tempered glass can't be drilled I located suitable CRL hardware on line to stabilize it and was directed to DK via Amazon. Pricing was the same as Amazon but the freight was twice as expensive. I ordered directly because DK's customer representative took the time to answer my questions. Delivery was prompt and the products worked perfectly.

DK Hardware Supply Ordered a cylinder on August 7th

Ordered a cylinder on August 7th. Told it would take a few days and tracking # would be sent. Waited 10 days called again. Told it would be on the August 25th. Called on August 25th now I'm being told my cylinder is a special order and it was pushed back? Now they told me Sept. 24th. They withdrew my money fast but now its going to take 2 months for delivery. How can this company advertised the product but don't have any of the product or mislead customers.

DK Hardware Supply Zero stars

Zero stars. I bought a pack of 20 of the VGB 1460 glazing beads and when they arrived I used one that did not fit. I tried to return the remaining 19 and they refused ... I am out almost $100. It would have been nice if they told me that before I ordered. They also avoided answering my request for a return for three weeks until my credit card account was paid. Never order from them unless you KNOW the item fits. Look closely at all the negative reviews on Yelp and social media.

I placed this order on 9/3. Apparently one of the items I ordered was back-ordered, but I was not informed of this. After waiting two weeks for shipping confirmation, I both e-mailed and phoned them, and was told the items would definitely ship by 9/19. They finally shipped at end of day 9/20, and I received the items in good shape on 9/25. I would expect any reputable supplier to inform customers of delays such as this. An e-mail with an accurate expected shipping date is all that would have been required.

Merchandise sold by DK did not contain the appropriate two parts for the patio screen-door handle. Neither part had the necessary designed in slots for the included latch mechanism. This necessitated the order of a second door handle, delayed completion of the project, and an additional expense. It was a supplier packaging error but DK charged me for the part and its shipping cost without offering to get me reimbursed. Sorry DK you and your supplier could have done better. *** (Manager of Silver City project)

Email contact for order confirmation was not received, nor any subsequent emails. until it seemed the order was in question. Then I was advised that my IP was blocking their emails. I checked with my IP provider about this and he stated that their domain was a problem domain and therefore on his blocked list. He stated that he would look into the problem, and then after giving it more thought, I contacted him back telling him that I felt his business reputation and the customers trust was way more important than my need for an invoice. I dropped the situation, and several days later received the order.

DK Hardware Supply What the photo showed was not what I received

What the photo showed was not what I received. I did read the description which reflected what was showed. However, at the very end of the description (I didn't see it until after the order was placed) said towel bar only. I called customer service and talked to someone in sales. They too read the description and assured me that the hardware should be included and that they wouldn't just send a bar without it. The item arrived and there was no hardware with it, just a bar! I was given the option to return it (at my expense). It turns out they don't even have hardware! Not what the photo showed though. I did find the hardware at Home Depot so I kept the bar.

Customer service scheduled the replacement part I ordered to be held at the US Post Office, despite the fact that I left no such instructions in my order. Then they claimed that I had submitted the request and the USPS confirmed that there was no such hold order on file. I also never received an order confirmation that my order had been sent. The tracking information was useless because the customer service rep didn't know how to navigate the USPS website when I was internet chatting with him. I had to trouble shoot everything myself. The company's website also indicates that they ship Standard Ground via UPS or USPS, but they do not tell you that it's at their election. Hopefully the product works as it is supposed to based on their website. Otherwise, I'm going to have my credit card company withhold payment and will dispute the charge. I will, however, never order from this company again and will find a more reputable retailer for my home improvement needs.

I but it a mirror bottom track on August 3 2022, online the fallow day I receive a email saiding they going to charge me more because the item is over the 8' on the email said they charge is 125 up to 175 on any order over the 8' so I called because I have a missing call from DK Hardware, when I was talking to a customer servicethey say they going to charme $375 for shipping and when I was trying to explain what the email they send me said she was talking over at the same time, she was acting like I was a Damm crazy so I said I want to talk to to manager they put me on waiting so when I finally get true he still wants me to pay $375 dollars for shipment on a bottom closet metal and the price for the part is $ 318 they using bad sales practices because they Sendmail one price on email and they want to charge me more than double the price over the phone, so please look when they said something because DK Hardware is a cheater it was my first time buying from this company but don't never ever recommend

DK Hardware Supply Two experiences

Two experiences. First order was December , ordered five units of 12" Portholes. When it arrived, I received only one. They immediately sent out the rest of my order but my project was already delayed. Second was June 7. I ordered the same item but this time 10 units. I had to call them to process my payment and to tell them exactly that I had a problem with my last order and I don't want it to happen again and cause me delays. After weeks of waiting, no updates, no order confirmation email, no tracking info. I've tried to email them twice after I got a reply. They said my items will ship on July 11. WHAAAT? The agent I was speaking to when I paid for it said it's all in stock and ready to ship. Website also says it's in stock and can ship in 1 day. June 7 to July 11 is unacceptable if it is really in stock. Otherwise, the company is lying about the availability of their products. The reason I ordered from them is the availability of the product. Now I am delayed again with my client. NOT GOOD BUSINESS.

We placed orders from some door sweeps and astragals from this company, and while we used only 1 set of door sweeps the other products were not going to work based mostly on their websites descriptions and measurements. Not everything in the order was going to work, so we called and asked about an RMA to be informed that they charge 25% to restock products. We have been going back and for over 2 weeks now on trying to get a "manager" to approve waiving the fees since we did not use the product - their website hails them as one of the top 10 customer service oriented businesses in Florida. I would laugh at that, because at best, their deceptive in information they provide and use small print hidden on their site to charge customers - their RMA policy is written, "to encourage customers to purchase products they intend to keep." I intended to keep products that I could use - so it's a bit confusing, to say the least - I did purchase products I did not intend to keep IF THEY WORKED, OR FITTED, AS DESCRIBED. I wouldn't do business with this company if my life depended on it anytime in the future.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I ordered a 2-tier double cutlery drawer product that said it would ship within 1-2 weeks. When I first ordered it, the price on 01/17 says it was only $203.77. However, when they called me on the 20th, they said it was now backordered and that the item is actually $395.90 (NEARLY DOUBLE!), as the price was "incorrect"...

I tried to order a pair of pine screen doors that were a regularly stocked item. Everything went fine until they were a month late arriving. When they finally got here, they were both damaged. The delivery driver did all the return paperwork and called DK Hardware to confirm the return. It took another month for DK Hardware to process the return, but ONLY...

DK Hardware Supply Misleading website

I am a First time customer, I was looking for channel drains and seen the channel drains on the web site there was a pic of the one thatI wanted to buy. I had a removal top for easy clean out. I needed 58 feet and two 90 degree corners. On the web sight when, I put it all in my cart, there was no picture of the channel drains but there was pictures of the 90degree corner pieces and couples that I needed.. Now to let yu know the picture of the 90 degree corner piece has an open top so when you get your channel drains you cane use a small pice of the top that comes off to put it in the conner piece. so I thought everything was ok and I also received a phone call from someone from DK hardware to confirm my order and just go over the size or it. you could see on line from the corner piece that the channel drain that I am ordering should be the same with a removable top. but they too though I was getting the right parts, so when I received the package and open the box I did not get the right channel drains. that were all solid. no removable top. I call up they told me I have to pay to ship it back which would cost me over $200.00 and they want to charge me a restocking fee over 20% that would be almost another $200.00. I spent over $632.00 on this order and now that want about $400.0 extra to make it right. This is not customer service, I should of just bought it on amazon at least with them they know how to take care of they customers. Amazon would have it shipped back for free with no restocking fee. I would say if you can find it on amazon you are better off buying it from them even if it cost a little bit more you will have better piece of mind know that Amazon has your back DK Hardware just wants to Break your back. t would be great if this million or billion dollar company would take back the channel drains eat the shipping and restocking fees and let me order the right channel drains but I already talked to someone named Chris and he told me that he was sorry but that will not work with me. That I am stuck with them they will not accept them back even though they are untouched and could be sold to someone els. that alway ship them cut so they would of been cut for the next guy that wanted those type that came to me.

DK Hardware Supply wcm301 jalousie window or door operator for stanley 3-11/32" link arm

On August 8, 2022, I placed an order for a quantity of ten (10) Stanley Tools WCM301 Jalousie Window or Door Operator for Stanley 3-11/32" Link Arm at $18.49 per unit for a total of $184.90 with a 5% off coupon. On August 23, 2022, DK Hardware sent me an email stating they were still waiting for these parts and that there would be a delivery delay.

These Jalousie Window Operators were to be installed in a summer home before the end of August because the home is closed up on the last weekend in August every year. Because of the delay in delivery until September, I unfortunately didn’t get to install the parts in 2022. When I received the parts in September, I opened the package to make sure I had the right quantity but I did not inspect each one closely and then stored them for the following year. When I went to install the WCM301 Jalousie Window Operators on July 3, 2023, 7 out of the 10 that I received did not have the link arms on them as ordered.

To resolve the problem, I contacted them and told them I would appreciate a refund or exchange for the seven window operators and get the correct items. They told me they had a 30 day return policy and that they would not be willing to help me because of this policy. I also have a policy that I don't let companies like this get away with not providing the products or services that they promise.

Desired outcome: I want to send the parts back for an exchange or refund.

DK Hardware Supply Disappointed with Shipping Time from DK Hardware - First Time Customer Review

So, I decided to give DK Hardware a try for the first time. I placed my order and paid for it about a month ago. Unfortunately, I still haven't received my product yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it arrives soon. I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed with the delay. It's making me think twice about ordering from here again in the future. Hopefully, this is just a one-time issue and they can improve their shipping times in the future.

DK Hardware Supply Disappointing Experience with DK Hardware Stain: Old, Off-Color, and Scummy

I recently ordered some stain from DK Hardware and was pretty disappointed with what I received. When I opened the can, I could tell right away that it was old - there was a really strong smell and the color was off. But the worst part was the layer of scum on the bottom of the can that just wouldn't dissolve no matter how much I stirred it. I've been using this same stain for over 30 years and I've never seen it in this condition before.

Overall, I was pretty let down by my experience with DK Hardware. I've ordered from them before and never had any issues, but this time was definitely a miss. I'm not sure if it was just a bad batch or what, but I don't think I'll be ordering from them again anytime soon. It's a shame because I really do like their selection and prices, but quality is important too.

If you're thinking about ordering from DK Hardware, I would definitely recommend doing some research first and reading reviews from other customers. While my experience wasn't great, I know that others have had positive experiences with them. Just be aware that there is a chance you might receive a product that isn't up to par.

DK Hardware Supply Fraudulent Advertising and Poor Service: My Experience with DK Hardware

So, I was looking for some hardware and came across DK Hardware. They seemed to have what I needed, so I decided to give them a try. But let me tell you, I was not impressed with their service at all. They advertised one thing, but when I received my order, it was something completely different. And when I tried to return it, they wouldn't even provide me with a return mailing label. On top of that, they wanted to charge me a 20% restocking fee! Can you believe that? It's like they don't even care about their customers. I tried to deal with them, but it was impossible. They just didn't want to listen to my concerns. I feel like their advertising is fraudulent and they don't stand behind their products. So, my advice to you is to stay away from DK Hardware. There are plenty of other places to get your hardware needs met. Don't waste your time and money with these guys.

DK Hardware Supply Disappointing Customer Service: My Experience with DK Hardware's Blackstone Griddle Cover

So, I was looking for a cover for my Blackstone griddle and I came across DK Hardware website. I placed my order 5 weeks ago and I still haven't received it. They charged my credit card right away, but I haven't seen the cover yet. I've been emailing them for over a week now, but I haven't received any reply. It's really frustrating because I need the cover to protect my griddle from the elements. I wouldn't recommend ordering from this company because they don't seem to care about their customers. It's a shame because I've heard good things about their products, but if they can't deliver on their promises, then what's the point? I hope they can improve their customer service in the future because I won't be ordering from them again.

I gotta say, my experience with DK Hardware was not the best. I was really looking forward to receiving my order, but it never came. They kept telling me that it was going to ship soon, but the ship date kept getting pushed back. It was really frustrating, especially since I had to keep reaching out to them to get any updates. They never bothered to contact me with any information, which was really disappointing.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend DK Hardware to anyone. It was just a really bad experience overall. I wish I had gone with a different company instead. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy hardware supplier, I would suggest looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other options out there that are much better than DK Hardware.

DK Hardware Supply Disappointing Experience with DK Hardware: Wrong Color and High Postage Fee

So, I was looking for a steel colored sauce pot to add to my collection, and I stumbled upon DK Hardware. I placed an order for a pot that cost me $30, and I was pretty excited to receive it. However, when the package arrived, I was disappointed to find out that the pot was black in color instead of steel. I mean, seriously? How hard is it to get the color right?

To make matters worse, the postage fee was sky-high for such a small pot. I was shocked to see how much I had to pay just to get it delivered. And when I realized that it wasn't economically feasible to send it back, I was pretty upset. I mean, why should I have to pay for their mistake?

Overall, I was totally dissatisfied with my experience with DK Hardware. The wrong color, the high postage fee, and the fact that I couldn't return it without losing money - it was all just too much. I wouldn't recommend this website to anyone.

DK Hardware Supply Mixed Experience with DK Hardware: High Quality Product, but No Template or Instructions Included

I stumbled upon DK Hardware when I was looking for some hardware for my DIY project. I was really excited to find out that they had a product that had a template and instructions on how to install it. This was really important to me because I'm not the most handy person and I needed all the help I could get.

However, when I received my order, I was disappointed to find out that there was no template or instructions included. I was really frustrated because I had already started my project and I didn't know what to do next. I contacted DK Hardware and they told me that they couldn't help me with the installation.

I was really upset with their response, but then they suggested that I look for the installation instructions on YouTube. I thought this was a great idea and I was able to find a video that showed me exactly how to install the hardware.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase from DK Hardware. The product is high quality and it was exactly what I needed for my project. However, I wish that they had included the template and instructions like they advertised. Despite this, I would still recommend DK Hardware to anyone who needs hardware for their DIY projects.

DK Hardware Supply Buyer Beware: Hidden Fees and Charges with DK Hardware

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with DK Hardware. I dropped a couple hundred bucks on some hardware, but when I got it, it just wasn't what I was looking for. So, I decided to return it. But, man, was that a mistake. They hit me with a restocking fee and return shipping costs, which ended up being a whopping $75! That's a third of what I paid in the first place!

I mean, I get it, they gotta make money somehow. But, dang, that's a pretty steep price to pay for not being satisfied with your purchase. I wish I had gone with a more reliable company like Build with Ferguson. They may be a bit pricier, but at least they won't hit you with hidden fees and charges.

All in all, if you're thinking about doing business with DK Hardware, just be prepared to take some heavy losses if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase.

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with DK Hardware. I placed an order back in September for a custom-made item, and I knew going into it that there might be some shipping delays. But I never could have predicted that it would take this long - we're almost into the new year now, and I still haven't received any tracking information.

To make matters worse, my representative, Paul B., has completely ignored countless emails from me. I'm beyond frustrated at this point, and my customer is livid as well. It's just not a good look for anyone involved.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend doing business with this company if you're someone who depends on timely results. It's just not worth the headache and stress.

DK Hardware Supply Nightmare Experience: Avoid DK Hardware for Online Orders and Customer Service

So, I was trying to buy some stuff from DK Hardware's website, but it was a total nightmare. I tried to place an order online, but it just wouldn't go through no matter what I did. I tried using different browsers, different devices, and even different locations, but nothing worked. I was getting pretty frustrated, so I decided to call their customer service line to see if they could help me out.

Well, let me tell you, that was a mistake. The person who answered the phone didn't seem to speak English very well, and they had no idea what was going on with my order. They put me on hold for what felt like forever, and then they just disconnected the call without even saying anything. I was so annoyed and disappointed that I just gave up and went to Ace Hardware instead.

Honestly, I would not recommend DK Hardware to anyone. Their website is a mess, and their customer service is even worse. If you're looking for a reliable hardware store, I would suggest going somewhere else. Save yourself the headache and the hassle.

Made a purchase from this company and when I got my purchase delivered I was missing 4 pieces of the order. I reached out and was given the run around for several hours. While dealing with this I noticed the listing for what I purchased was removed from their site. Interesting. I manager called me yesterday 8/30 and told me there was in fact an error in the listing that was posted but they refuse to give me what I was under the impression I had purchased originally instead they want me to return it. I simply want what was listed for sale on THEIR site for me the consumer to purchase. I purchased a case which consists of 3 at a quantity of 2 which means I would get six pieces all together. I even reached out to the manufacturer of the product and they agreed their product is sold in cases.
