A year and a half after having a mini facial lift, Dr. Renato Calabria. located in beverly hills. It left me feeling bad about my face, it seems like nothing was done to me and I left a lump on my cheeks and my cheekbones swollen and a hole in my cheeks and the scars are terrible, I have to cover them all the time so they don't show. But the most frustrating thing was the recovery of something that is not supposed to be so invasive. I am still in recovery and sore and my cheekbones are numb whenever I consult with him he is indifferent to my complaints I made a bad choice with this doctor. very bad. And I know there are many complaints about him from people who have suffered the same as me. If anyone can help me how to sue it I would appreciate it.

Dr. Calabria made hundreds of thousands of dollars off of my pictures I had asked him several times I asked his office I called Rancho Maria's Beverly Hills take my photos down I contacted an attorney she is now retired I also contacted another attorney who she referred me to pointers I am left with
Uneven Brest and it is taken me years to recover from the numbness in my face.
In the recovery center they have never seen anyone so ill with projectile vomiting terrible anesthesiologist I'm surprised I survived that surgery.

I had the a blepheroplasty, temporal brow lift and face/neck lift which the doctor calls "vertical lift" surgery per recommendations of dr. Calabria and I already developed jowls and festoons she also has a double chin this is horrible work I just came back from a plastic surgeons office and he told me how the incisions were unprofessionally placed on her face he told me that it is going to cause major scarring and I already have developed webbed eyes! It was rushed! Her eyelids are heavy she cannot properly open them as she did before which is causing her to not only look crazy but to have impaired vision. The incisions are also marked differently as spoken with the surgeon today. My scars are stretching I have sagging specially on one side of my face and lumps plus festoons my ears are connected to my face they are dragged he has ruined my ears!. Asymmetrical work! I refuse to keep on waiting as it's getting worse and worse as I wait my results look horrible. This whole situation has been one of the most terrible experiences we've been through. This stuff is terrible they treated me horribly as well as a nurse called mary james catherine please stay far away she scammed me and demanded a payment of 3200 for less than 24hrs which she slept showered and watch tv. Stay away from this place I am warning you. I will be posting several videos describing my horrible experience!

Jan Bisno's cosmetic surgery experience with Dr. Calabria was horrific. She was left with terrible scars, an egg-shaped bump on her forehead, a divot on her temple, a pucker on her cheek, a loose forehead and neck.
Calabria had many explanations for these occurrences. Calabria was deposed and he had completely different explanations during his deposition. I will be posting the deposition of Calabria shortly.
Ms. Bisno went back many times requesting Calabria solve the problems he had created. He responded with, lies, excuses, blind eyes and deaf ears.
In the beginning, Calabria promised, holding Ms. Bisno's hand, looking deep into her eyes that she should not see any other cosmetic surgeon. He promised her, "I will do the best job of anyone.".
Those facts didn't suit his litigation position where, in his deposition, he appears to have doctored his notes so as to advise Ms. Bisno he said he could not fix her.
Allowing that Calabria was on medical board probation for cooking the books, his recent deposition testimony appears fraudulent. Ms. Bisno has retained a handwriting expert, a former consultant to the FBI, to look at Calabria's notes. Unsurprisingly, Calabria's lawyers are fighting tooth and nail to delay or avoid such a document inspection.
There have been allegations Calabria exposed himself to other patients, and many complaints of sloppy work.
During the investigation of Calabria, and the deposition, when pressed by information from an expert Ms. Bisno retained, the evidence shows that Calabria failed to stop her operation and remove foreign material from her face and have it analyzed by a pathologist. This shortcut damaged Ms. Bisno. Unsurprisingly, Ms. Bisno only learned about Calabria's activities through her expert after reviewing Calabria's notes.
Even Calabria's own witness, Dr. Dubrow, acknowledged that there will be costs in the tens of thousands of dollars to correct the work performed on Ms. Bisno.
Dr. Calabria is a conman, a downright creepy guy, whose brushes with the medical board and his past patients are easy to research. Ms. Bisno will see him in court.

Date of surgery Feb 2016. This doctor is a fraud. He did a facelift and ruined my face and then told me that he should have told me that I needed two facelifts, not one. All other plastic surgeons told me that he is a fraud and that I never needed two facelifts. He also left me with lumps from fat, scars, festoons under my eyes (which were not there before the surgery) and mutilated ears. He refuses to answer my emails for a reimbursement to correct all of his sloppy work.
He should lose his license for committing fraud.

Feb. 2016

Did not tell me before my surgery that I needed to have two facelifts to fix my neck. He told me AFTER my surgery when my neck was far worse than even before, that he SHOULD have told me that he could not do the correct surgery in one attempt. Others Surgeons told me that was ethical not to tell me.
He mutilated my ears and left fat lumps in my face.

Dr. Calabria misled me as to the fact that he had never been sued by a patient (I have his e-mails to prove it). Had I known he had been successfully sued and was currently on probation, by the medical board, I would never have allowed him to operate on me.

By Calabria’s own estimate, and that of other plastic surgeons, the procedures he was to perform on me: vertical face-lift, neck-lift, endoscopic forehead lift, lower eye-lid correction (blepharoplasty) and fat injections (volume restoration) to various places on my face; that I paid $41, 000 for should have taken 8 to 9 hours to perform. He spent less than 5 hours on my procedures.

Two of the procedures got infected. My left lower eyelid, seen to by Dr. Applebaum, and the right cut in my skull. The endosocopic cut had opened to such a degree that Calabria was to re-stitch it. He did not.”

Rather than the “Vertical Facelift” I paid for he performed the One-Stitch procedure instead and left me with the scars to prove it. He also caused a lump on my cheek. He promised to eliminate this lump; he did not. My lower Eye-lids were to be done from the inside; he cut on the outside and stitched in my eyelids resulting in a chronic case of blepharitis.

Calabria had me sign release forms AFTER administering valium. The licensing board reprimanded him for this in the past but he continued this behavior.
