Dear sir my vc no is [protected] I had been coplain since 26 june 2013.com no. [protected], 28 july 2013 co no. [protected], 7 sept 2013 co no. [protected] and 10 sept 2013 co no [protected] for same reason. these complains are solved 14 sept 2013. these periods (3.5 months) I couldn't watch my television. so I request to you please extent my grace period. this is very helpful me. because last date of my recharge is tomorrow 21 sept 2013.

    DishTV.inmisbehavior and asking to return the set top box

    There was a call from an employee and he said that your dish tv is not in use return it but it is in use before 1 month it was not in use due to ramzans but now we are using it after telling the employee the call was been aborted but there was a call the another moment and telling again the same thing and talking in a very local languge by using words like 'are' and then on answering for his rude behavior the employee is telling that you are from u. p na thats why what was there need to tell this and asking to return the set top box is our wish why are they asking to return.

          Hi,

          This is to inform you you regarding the disaster journey with dish tv connection, let me start by saying that I am a retired general manager from airports authority of india. dish tv has compelled me tio raise a complaint even after me being a senior citizen.

          I had started dealing with dish tv in the year 2007 by taking the vc connection (0150-[protected] & [protected]) through your agent named dilip patel & I had paid the annual recharge amount however to our knowledge it was observed that the balance displaced in the tv sets was only for 3 months by bringing this to mr. dilip approach was very casual to which I was compelled to say that I will be making a police complaint against him to which he gots back in his senses and agreed to pay the full amount immediately however by seeing such pathetic & fraudulent activity we senior citizens switched back to the cable operator services.

          To our bad luck the govt of india implemented the set top box connection in june 2012, we thought of giving dish tv another chance of serving thinking that their would have been some improvements but I guess we were definitely wrong... this time we got 3rd vc no [protected] installed and the previous 2 set top box were used, this time the agent was m/s mishra communication on approaching him for the annual recharge he quoted cash of rs 9450 the same was handed over to you and the receipt of same stating sanghvi enter dated 24-03-13 was handed over to us the. the scanned copy is attached for your reference. after few days when the balance was checked it displaced rs 8830 on approaching mr. mishra he assured that the top up channels will be recharges separately & even claimed that another 900rs need to be paid for the annual recharge.

          "my question is don't the agents check the annual quote before approaching the client carefully?

          Later we were ask to get in touch with the customer care no & they assured the response will be given in 24 hrs however after 48 hrs when we approached them we were asked to send an email or written complaint. even after having such senior authorities being present in the organisation who are aware about the scenario, especially officials like mr. jitendra, vinay nayar, satish all from mumbai unit
          If people at such high level cant help the customer I guess there is no need of them being in the system.

          My sincere request kindly get more staff like ms kiran & her supervisor from the customer service who knows the value of the customer.

          I need to know why even after approaching the agent well in advance of the annual recharge I am still not being given the bonus of availing 1 month free services as suggested by mr. mishra at the time of sharing the annual quote. on 14.08.13 our vc 0150-[protected] was blocked out without any reason, I being a senior citizen had to again lodge a complaint in customer care & was assured the same will be attended in 24 hrs, after waiting for 2 days completely I approached mr jitendra (unit head, mumbai operations) he directed me to mr bala chandra holding the mobile no [protected] that he will be in a condition to resolve the same. even mr. chandra assured it will be taken care off which was again not fulfilled to which I had an heated argument with mr. chandra and he even made us sent an sms on his mobile stating our address to which we received a message stating that mr. farhan tardev will contact us on 17.08.13.

          To our patience again no one appeared at our residence for the complaint raised, so again I had to call up the customer care (comp no [protected]) here empty hands agains were we suggested by ms kiran & her supervisor that we should drop in a complaint

          To my entire background I would like to just ask few question to such a big organisation

          1. should senior citizens be treated like this?
          2. did we do a crime by choosing dish tv as our service provider?
          3. does customer service means helping the customer or just making them run around the bush?

          If you have any answers to these questions I would like to know the deadline by when can I expect my query to be resolved???

          Be rest assured" you have compelled a senior citizen to write a complaint, if I don't get a response back, I shall take it forward to the govt of india pleading them to discontinue the dish tv services and I am even marking the same email to the news channel so that you realise the importance of treating the senior citizen in such a pathetic manner.

            Dish TV Indiachange of set up box

            I have hd dish tv connection having no [protected] at my residence. the same is being viewed by my old parents. I had requested for conversion of setup box from hd to standard defination as per your message received by me in the month of march 13. I had put a registered request on 17.03.2013 for change of set set up box. I regret to state that after a lapse of near about 2 months also my set yp box has not been converted. I had many times called up on your toll free numbers, but none of your employees could provide be proper information, they talk all round about but proper work is not done, I request you to please change the same or I shall be constrained to stop my recharge & discontinue your service.

              Dish TV India — transfer of balance from old vc no. to new vc no.

              My old dish tv was damaged due to lightning & thundering. so I have buy new connection with different vc no...

              DishTV.inbad customer care and no liability on level of service to be provided

              Dish tv does not have any liability on the level of customer service they offer. if you pay them in advance then they will take you granted as they don’t refund recharge amount paid in advance even though the customer has disconnected dish tv because of their bad customer service.
              On 11-nov-12, my set top box stopped working. it was not getting switched on. I logged the complaint with dish tv toll free on the same day. also I made the payment of rs. 2160/- online on the same day, as my earlier subscription was getting over on 13-nov-12. for nine days, I was trying to get the update on my complaint as there was no communication initiated by dish tv on it. I called toll free many time but they had standard answer, ‘please wait, in 24 hrs. technician will come’. I asked toll free representative to connect me to the person who can provide me exact update and timeline for my issue resolution. but they mentioned that they are not allowed to do that. then I wrote email to customer care to get the updates and escalated same to dish tv nodal officers but even they didn’t bother to answer. finally on 10th day I decided to disconnect dish tv as I was ignored all the times and switch to local cable operator. I wrote same to customer care and nodal officers that I am disconnecting dish tv and want by refund of 2160/- as I am not able to use dish tv from 11-nov-12. couple of days later of this email, I got call from dish tv regarding my stb complaint. but since I already got cable connection, I refused the technician visit as it was not making sense to me and asked for refund. till 08-dec-12, lot of communication happened between me and dish tv people from customer care to sr. manager, regarding the refund. but dish tv continuously denied the refund by telling me that as per their policy refund of the recharge amount won’t be given. I repeatedly told them that since I have disconnected because I was not getting any update from dish tv and hence I think they should give me refund by taking the liability of poor customer service. but they denied the refund and were continued to offer schemes. finally, on 8-dec-12 I got an email from them saying that as per their records technician visited the place and hence they won’t refund the amount but will offer waiver for the days. the waiver offer was already denied by me as it was not making sense to me to keep both dish tv and cable connection and pay both of them. I wrote them email asking for details of the visit (which never happened as I denied visit of technician) on 8-dec-12 and sent the reminder for the same on 10-dec-12. but no reply from them.
              In this incident, I tried my all options (email, phone) to get status (even I used rude language to show my anger and dissatisfaction) but there was no effect and I was ignored all the time at all the levels. then after disconnection when I asked for the refund, dish tv didn’t show courtesy to take the ownership of bad customer service and refund me the money, instead they claim that visit was made and they don’t refund the recharge amount.in whole incident dish tv didn’t care what a customer is thinking and kept forcing their terms even they were at fault.
              As I mentioned earlier I am expecting refund of 2160/- because I had paid that amount for the period after 13-nov-12. my stb was down from 11-nov-12 and I haven't used dish tv service. also, I have disconnected dish tv because I was not getting any response from dish tv regarding my complaint from all levels.

                Thank you sir for sending your technician and your company called me twice and the numbers are [protected] and the second number is [protected] but I am not satisfy with this because today, when he came at my home he came without any set top box after seeing my old set top box he told me that tomorrow I will bring the new set top box. then I said please bring a proper working set top box then he replied its not my responsibility that it works or not my only works to bring set top box and fit it. he told me that your old set top box was changed by me and the set top box which I will bring is not my responsibility that it will works or not. his name is praveen and his number is [protected]. if your technician talks to your customer like this so tell me for the customer's satisfaction. he also told me that I also knew that your complaint from 11 till 24. but I was not able to come. so when I told him that your service officers told me that my complaint is fine so he told me that I knew that and told to my office that I done that work. so its my humble request please do something.

                    thank you sir but please tell me what should i do.actully from 8 Nov my set top box condition was very bad even till today.but now i m satisfy because he brought a new set top box for me.but my complaint is that my recharge coupon was wasted of 21 days.so my request is that please recharge my set top box for those days.

                    thanks a lot for sending your technician but i am not satisfy with it because the set top box you send me is not work properly it hangs.sir when i switch on the set top box but after 15 minutes first the audio stops then video.please send me a proper set top box if you want to take 1000 rupees or what amount you can take but please do my work and my recharge plan is also wasting its of 400 rupees please change the set top box please

                  Still my dish tv is not in working order, and I am getting a worst behavior from your company employees distributors (Distributor tells that we give fast service than company, if its true the what the hell is your website registration) etc. , its almost getting the one month about to installed and still I have no service responce, please if you are unable to full fill your customers requirements then why you commit that you are the best service provider, why you show sharukh khan and make us fool with him. What the hell your advertisement "sab pe dish savar he", not even a fool can like to buy this ### box if you show this kind of punctuality and the professionalism.Please reply for my mail are you still able to give me the connection, or you want me to waste my more 50 to 100 rs. , as already I wasted non countable money in calls to your best customer care supports. To put a request under "right of information" for ask to your honorable seniors and the higher departments, that why they think that "indian peoples are really fool and by showing shahrukh khan with funny dresses and monster hair styles to convey people to buy your stupid slogans and worst services.Please if you are unable than give me back my money not as fast, as fastest you can and terminate my connection. Which is already is not in working order.

                  I had submitted fac forms scanned copy many times. And every time they said that please submit your scanned copy of "fac form".
                  I m just unable to understand what to do. All I want is refund of my money.

                    I purchased multiconnection of dish tv on 05-11-2012 by online. It was installed very late on 17-11-2012. Then after installation in one set box channel was activated. And 2nd set box channel is not activate. His vc no is [protected]. I was already complainted on [protected] by call from customer care but no any body response my complained.
                    So kindly urgent solve my complaint.

                      Dish TV India — unpaired set top box and vc card

                      DishTV.invc deactivated since 10 days

                      Respected sir,
                      I booked 4 connections for dish tv i.e. 1 parent connection and 3 child connections on 30th october 2012. the dealer (balaji sanchar group) called me and asked me to pay the money and I paid rs 4260 / - as discussed with the dealer. he promised that all the connections would be installed on 31st october 2012. I again called the dealer and asked him to cancel 1 child connection to which he readily agreed and told me that my money of 1 connection would be refunded within 2-3 days due to excess of workload. despite calling the dealer again and again for installation of connection, there was a delay. finally, the connections got installed on 02nd november 2012.

                      On 8th november 2012, one of the child connections stopped working and the status was & lsquo;vc deactivated’. I called the customer care and he told me that my connection would be started within 24 hours. the complaint no. is [protected] and vc no. [protected]. I reported the same problem to the dealer as well as the person who installed my connections. despite of calling customer care again and again for resolution of my problem, they made me fake promises that my problem would be solved within 24 hours. so finally I decided to get my connections removed and called customer care on 11th november 2012 to refund back my connection amount plus installation charges i.e. rs 4260 +1150. I also emailed my problem at [protected]@customercare.in.

                      Till today, i.e. 17th november 2012 neither my amount has been refunded nor the connection has been activated. moreover the customer care told me that all of my connections are individual whereas I demanded multiconnection.

                      The promise of solving my problem within 24 hours has been breached regularly and now it has been nearly 10 days i.e. 240 hours since my connection has remained deactivated. my amount for one connection deposited with the dealer has also not been returned so far. this thing is really frustrating me and the company and dealer are kind of mentally torturing and harassing me. despite of emailing and calling them again and again there is solution.

                      Please sir I want you to help me as the company is really very pathetic in its services. the dealer has not returned my connection amount se far despite of calling him many times. I want you to take strict action against the company and the dealer as due to their negligence in performing their own duties; I am suffering from mental torture and harassment. I want my whole amount to be refunded back. thanking you in anticipation of a positive response.

                        DishTV.inlong delay in shifting dish tv

                        I had put in a request for shifting of dish tv connection from c-37 to my new address l-17, ground floor, kalkaji, new delhi - 110019

                        Request was placed on 3 nov 2012 & was committed service within 24 hours. As there was no response received from dish tv for 48 hours, subsequent followup call was made on 5 nov morning. Was promised quick service but again no response.

                        Third call was made on 6 nov evening & was again not committed any date or time by when the shifting of dish tv would be initiated.

                        Your floor manager rohit kapoor informed that we are free to make a call / complaint anywhere we want to get this work done.

                        Fourth call made to deepak sharma on 9 nov requesting to install the dish tv connection.

                        If a dish delight customer has to make repeated requests & calls & after 7 days still there is no commitment of service, I can imagine the suffering a regular dish tv customer would be going thro.

                        Pls maintain the good work & keep on delighting the customers by keeping them waiting for ever & ever for service...

                          DishTV DTHhidden charges for visit

                          Dear Sir,
                          The following are submitted respectfully for your kind consideration and necessary action:-
                          1. I have purchased Dish TV connection in the Month of May 2011.
                          2. I am paying monthly charges for the services regularly.
                          3. Today (08/10/12) at about 12.45 pm when I was watching TV, suddenly there was a message on Screen "Signal Not Found". on seeing message, I checked all connections, that were ok and there was no raining outside.
                          4. I made a SMS to Dish TV and they call me back.
                          5. When I briefed them about the problem, they insisted me to take the help of technician by paying Charges (Rs. 150 Plus Tax).
                          6. There was no such prior information to me. When a customer is paying monthly charges for service provided to him, why he should pay for visit made for rectification of problem related to "signal alignment" only.
                          7. I agree, if some part would have made default, I would have require to pay the cost of such part.
                          8. However, it is not just to charges for a visit, which take only 5-10 minute to align signals, because it the duty of service provider that signal reaches to set-of-box.
                          9. Further, when I am not satisfied with this way of service and I expressed my wish to disconnect the services by depositing back the set-of-box and Dish, the Company is not paying any thing back. That means there is no cost of these articles or the company compelling the customer not to disconnect otherwise he will get nothing.
                          10. This in entirety, seems to be a binding and exploiting behavior of the company against its customers, as
                          a) One is bound to pay exorbitant charges for visit made by technician for such a petty job.
                          b) Company have not even registered my complaint, when I spoke first time with company at 12.55pm.
                          c) It would take 24 hrs for the rectification of the defect. ( if I would have opted for cable TV connection, they would have visited me without any delay and not asking any charges for this.)
                          d) Nothing would be refunded, if one desirous to disconnect the services by depositing Dish and Box.

                          Therefore, I request you to please look into the matter and issue necessary directives to the Company:
                          a) not to charge for this type of petty services, when customer is paying regular monthly charges.
                          b) There should be prompt default rectification mechanism in city like Chandigarh.
                          c) There should be adequate refund, if a customer, annoyed with services, want to disconnect services.

                          and guide me, before I go to Consumer Court for my grievance redress.

                            DishTV.indish tv punished her customer for making payment in advance

                            Sir,
                            My name is p. purushotham I had dish tv connection with vc no. [protected] in the month of august 2012. initially the dish tv has given me south hd royal package for one month free and informed me that my payment due date as 9th september 2012.
                            As the 9th september 2012 is falling on sunday it will be inconvenient for me to make payment on sunday. I have contacted the dish tv by way of sms to 57575 and informed that I want to take south hd world pack as my future package and asked them about the availability of offers for having this package for six months. they told me if I pay rs 2160 / - I will get six months subscription offer for this hd world pack. also I have asked the dish tv that, is there any possibility of loosing of my free hd royal package period if make a payment before my due date of 9th september 2012? the dish tv people clarified me that if I make any advance payment I will not loose any time and they told me that my subscription time will be added to the existing period. they told me that what ever the package I will take by making an advance payment that package period will only added to the existing days and they clearly told me that there is no loss to me if I pay the payment in advance.
                            On 6th september 2012 I made online payment of rs 2160 / - to dish tv the same day I have contacted the dish tv by way of sms to 57575 and asked them that I have paid the necessary amount of rs 2160 / - for availing south hd world pack for six months as I am still having two days (as my due date is 9th september 2012) for next payment I requested them to continue the existing hd royal pack up to my due date i. e. 9th september 2012. they have accepted and provided my advance request in their records for changing of my package to hd world pack on 9th september 2012 and informed me to make a call on 9th september 2012 for changing of my package.
                            Accordingly on 9th september sunday I have contacted the dish tv and asked them to change my package to south hd world pack. they have changed.
                            Then I surprised to see that my next due date is 27th february 2013. but if we calculate six months from 9th september 2012, my next due date must fall on 8th march 2013. this means the dish tv not provided me any offer for six months subscription.
                            I have been in contact with the dish tv by way of sms to 57575 for doing justice to me their arguments is as follows.

                            Dish tv argument : - as per company norms offer are lapsed when packed has been downgraded.

                            My answer : - 1) I have downgraded within my due date there is no loss to dish tv if I changed my pack within my given due date. moire over I have contacted the dish tv in advance on 5th september 2012, and 6th september 2012 and informed them that I am going to change my package from my due date i. e. 9th september 2012 onwards. (you may verify your records)
                            2) as I am still having two days for payment due date (9th september 2012) why I will have to loose my higher package on the payment day (6th september 2012) ?
                            3) is this is punishment for me for making payment to dish tv in advance?
                            4) is this is the way the dish tv is playing with his new customers?

                            I am expecting good response from dish tv

                                Now today (07/09/12 ) my complain is solved at 4:39pm
                                Now i request that due to this problem i cant use this service.
                                So, i want to extend my recharge time and inform me through sms my new recharge time.

                                  My dish tv v/c no - [protected]. At 04 :25pm I have recharge of 255 (super gold pack) though online by site paytm.com. And my order no is [protected]. Recharge sucessful by paytm but not in my dishtv account tillnow... No msz though dishtv. So plzzz check my account recharge and solve the problem in 24 hrs... Plzz solve my problem

                                    DishTV India Super Family Packdish on the roof is not attached

                                    Around three days ago i had submitted a feedback at DishTV site that some of the devotional channels (which were and still are in the list of channels available under
                                    the pack) are not made available on my TV. There was no positive result. Today I
                                    found the TV screen has gone blank with not even the DishTV logo thereon. I went to the rooftop. It appears that the Dish antenna is not connected. As a result we are
                                    not able to view any programme on TV, leave aside, the devotional channels for which
                                    i had submitted a request and DishTV was selected by us in the first place.
                                    Today being saturday, I earnestly wish that a solution is found urgently.

                                        please increase the min pack around 150/- per montly

                                        Please give any offier for BPL card recharge per discount also.

                                        Not hard to hook up a dish...I did direct TV myself...Mount Dish 4 bolts...Run wire down to the receiver...Aim the dish at the right area in the sky via set up menu in the receiver...Call Direct TV and give them your Receiver number and it works...Not really that hard to do...
