De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Warning: de meridian travel scam in dubai – my experience & how to report it

On March 7, 2025, I experienced a scam by De Meridian. They offered my wife a “gift” and invited us to collect it at a hotel in Al Garhoud, Dubai (Ground Floor, Element by Westin, behind Le Méridien Hotel). Once there, they lure you in with attractive offers, promising hotel stays and travel tickets. However, they pressure you into signing multiple documents, using legal loopholes to manipulate contracts.

Be cautious—De Meridian is a fraudulent company!

I personally lost 10,000 AED. If you have been scammed, report them immediately to the Department of Economic Development and Tourism in Dubai and through the Consumer Protection App.

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Scams of DeMeridian Loyalty card company - fradulent travel package 2024-2025

First of all, our couple initially only agreed for a few days stay of hotel which their sale team was charging AED 790 in the first month during a promotion event of DeMeridian in July 2024. So, I provided my card details. But, instead, their company charged AED 19,000 from my credit card for 24 months of your travel package on date of 31/7/2024. I requested for a full refund next day on 1/8/2024 but the request was not properly answered and their management team insisted us to try your booking services first and made fake promises to us during past 6 months.

When I asked for Umrah Trip arrangements in early January 2025 one month advance for booking in emails, their reservation team has taken their sweet time for preparation and made false promises that my demands would be fulfilled in a few days every single time I followed up. It took them 2 to 3 weeks to find and book 2 hotels in Mecca and Madinah which were ridiculous that anyone can go online could do it in 15 minutes nowadays.

After almost a month of my constant follow ups on a daily basis with calls and occasional emails, their reservation team has given us the options of cheap hotels outside the town of our destinations (Madina and Mecca) and charging us almost 3 to 5 times of the actual market accommodation fares. I was sharing them comparison of their offered options with the market prices and amount they were deducting from my credit card as per their emails with hotel options which I saved them. They even asked me to stay in Airport Hotel with my family for my entire trip in Madinah.

The best of their scam was that this company promised return flight tickets for the whole family for a trip to almost any part of the world and kept on saying that their reservation team would arrange the tickets till the insincere denial during last minutes last few days remaining for the trip and asking the customers to purchase them on their own with late high air fares while stating that your company would not bear the full cost but certain limited amount of the tickets fare. That could be clearly considered as a shameful act for any professional group of people. We have no idea how many innocent people have fell into your trap being pushed last minute and inevitably accepted these unfair offers. Let alone the additional booking fees their reservation team was asking.

This is how their company manipulates the customers and their fraudulent activities shall be exposed soon. As I already mentioned that I have no longer trust in their company and its associates with false promises. I thank Allah that I did not get into their manipulated arrangements for our Umrah trip to the holy lands. Alhamdulilah..!

In conclusion, I would again clearly say that they are not trustworthy and they would give you irrelevant excuses and make you delay your travel plan until last minutes. I hereby demand only a full refund of AED 19,000 back to my card and I have given them months, but De Meridian company failed to refund fully in given time, they did not even discuss a single word regarding the refund process, they would just simply divert the topic to continue using their scam services and only legal proceedings may help in my case.

I have tried to contact multiple sectors of Department of Economy and Tourism: Dubai Consumer Rights and lodged multiple Complaint files officially but have not received any conclusive response even after 6 months of time. Therefore, I am starting social media campaign for all the victims affected and cheated by the De Meridian Loyal Card Company during this holy month of Ramadan and your discussions are welcome for the legal case filing against this fraudulent company.

They have now established another company to continue their scams since their frauds in the name of DeMeridian is being exposed and compromised. If they continue their scams, we will share a list of their other company selling fake packages in the name of event organizers.

Recommendation: Do Not Engage with this company or fall for their fake promises with cheap promotions espcially in their sale events.

De Meridian is a Fraudulent Company!

I am writing to share my horrible experience with De Meridian. This company has been nothing but a scam in my case, and I strongly urge others to be cautious. Here’s a breakdown of the issues I’ve encountered:

*Booking Issues: I faced repeated problems when trying to make bookings, with no response from the company to confirm or resolve any issues.
*Customer Service: Despite repeated attempts to contact them via email and phone, I received no replies. Their customer service is non-existent.
*Account Problems: They have caused confusion and unauthorized charges related to my account.
They advertise a loyalty card program, but it seems like a total scam designed to take people’s money without delivering the promised benefits. I have had enough of this fraud, and I am preparing to take legal action against them. If you’ve experienced similar problems with De Meridian, please reach out to me. De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Thanks to team demeridian

In 2021 we have taken 2 years travel scheme from Demeridian. They have given us extension for 1year as we could not travel during Covid time. Recently in April we traveled to Jordan, all the arrangements are done very well, helped to book tickets, All arrangements, like hotel (4star hotels), airport pick and drop also good.

The team deserves good appreciation for the services provided.

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Fraud

I receive a call saying I won a staycation, I asked my fiance to check which I really regret everything.I went in Element and they are having some event, they said they will just give the prize but they offered something which got my fiance attention and joined immediately. Ive seen a lot of bad review and I didn't believe it. I just said give atleast 1 week if this will not work then I will see what we can do. I sent email they respond after 3days then they never respond again. It's been 3weeks and we didn't receive any feeback and I just can't imagine that my same nationality (filipino) are doing this. See you in court.

If your hard earned amount is Haram then go for their services.

They give you fake promises on different vouchers you will avail. you will get discount by purchasing ticket from them but what their is only 10 or 20 AED difference if you buy directly from the services like Emirates or Fly Dubai.

From last past 1 year i haven't received a single voucher of discounts or not any Concert passes as Promised.

Their contact person is changed after every few months. because even they also understand that the company is doing the cheating to them also.

Recommendation: I just recommend dont take their services they will eat your hard earned money.

Professional at best.

De Meridian gave me a voucher for a desert safari in Dubai & an International Hotel Voucher for Couples that I requested to redeem in May 2023 But Unfortunately due to some medical issues I Postponed it to December and they Redeemed my Voucher Desert Safari Voucher on Dec 18 2023 And redeemed Couple hotel voucher on Jan 5 2024 in which me and my Husband extremely Enjoyed that desert Safari and we used hotel voucher when we took a short Vacay to Azerbaijan.

The Customer Service Team and Reservation team always guided me the right way and made everything hassle free. They also provide hassle free travel plan memberships but unfortunately due to some financial issues I couldn't take that but in future will Take the Membership for a hassle-free vacations with Family and Friends.

Thank You De Meridian for all the Support and Guidance and gave me a great service even though I'm not a member,

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Hotel accommodation

Hi I was scam by de meridian company last year by a agent name hazel she force us to pay 12,999 dhs for 1 payment and presented wrong information about the package. Now iam planning for a vacation trip this year in ny. I send email again this january to their email address asking to give hotel accomodation and they keep us waiting. Last year I tried to booked from their side but it was failed I have 2 cancellation ang 1 rejected booking. Its so frustating.

I made a payment of AED 9,500 on 2nd March 2025, and I was assured that this amount was just being held temporarily and would be refunded within two days while a 24-month EMI plan would be set up for my package.

However, I still haven’t received my money back, and when I asked for the service, they are now denying it with different excuses. When I tried to cancel, they refused and are now asking me to pay the remaining amount before providing confirmation for the service.

This is very frustrating, and I need help in getting my money back. Can you guide me on how to proceed?

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Loyalty card

We recently purchased a loyalty programme where one was promised many thing like free 21 days hotel stay with breakfast in 4* category, full sightseeing for all days, airport transfer etc.. All in private car however after payment, when contract is received, it does not say this but says one will get 1800 points! 1 day sightseeing in bus and same for airport transfer. This is not how it was conveyed to customer during presentation. How get the money back from this company if this is a scam I subscribed last week. Our concern is that if lot of people are complaining about this, how are they still operational and still doing business?

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services De meridian card and their bronze package

Hi I have having issues with de meridian
We got a call that we won a prize which are free and we went to the element there it was a setup so many people two three families were there and both of them took their packages as you sign up the will clap for you and say welcome to the family we took as well did the same for us
I told we will receive the card after 7 days as 8 day I started calling and mailing just making me do this go email us and not replying asked them to book a simple ticker for dinner cruise which was a free gift they cannot even book that for us till now not responding

They have called me saying that you won pls come to collect the voucher. They gave me the voucher which they said it will be redeemed visa call or mail. I have send them mail & multiple follow-ups done on call as well but no one responding on mail. This is fraud company they have wasted my money & time. I will highly recommend take the serious action against them so that other peoples can’t be fooled by them in future.

Nothing to say more than stay away from this scammer they are spreading in the malls and shopping areas collecting peoples informations first they will send you whatsup same mentioned in the picture that’s you won prize and you have to collect it and they deceive people that’s they are from meredian hotels or westen becasue they are renting meeting hall from aloft and the location mention meredian after you go they will tell you they are same company and they won 3 international night to any hotel part of them (they don’t have any hotel part of them) after they will tell you they is offer only for one day (saying this world everyday to all the people) after that’s they start to bargain with you you can give any amount they will be agree after that’s becasue just they want to take money after when u will be agree you find that’s all what they told you deferent in the paper but they will explain it to you as per the way to convince you to sign after you signed don’t expect any service all your money will go and don’t believe the good comment becasue that’s people part of them to make good score.one more thing them trade license have stoped and not allowed for them to engage the activities

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Issue with this company

I have the same issue with this company - De Meridien Loyalty Card - Dubai UAE. I am asking them to refund the money I paid.

They are legitimate scammer. How they are living getting money from other people hardship. That even single services promised was not ever confirmed by them. I want my money back.

All customer service members are fraud making fake excuses last 3 months I'm trying to request for a confirmation and refund. They are fully fraud taking money from peoples. Please refund my money back and I do not want your poor services.

Dear team,

Hope this email gets you well,

I had attached all photos of your perusal, I had already sent email for the redemption of the voucher number 5047 which was given by Hazel your sales person, it’s says that I have to book in prior of 14 days how ever I placed my booking before 18days and till now only one reply came and still not very sure weather we will be going to the Dessert Safari on the 08/03/2024.

Hope you can resolve my problem.

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Taking money and promises

Hello there,

I just recently paid them yesterday 6999 AED in advance in there POS machine suddenly all the comments here are making me cry and cant sleep because 6999 AED is very big amount they told me they will return it back the money with in 7days I hope they will return it back, that day im still in there office I want to cancelled my application but the manager and lady said its not possible to cancelled cuz they take my money already, she told me I will pay installment the 9999, suddenly I realize how come I will pay them installment if she will get my money already and promising that they will return it back the money with in 7days that why I feel scared mybe it will not return and its big amount.,

I accept this because I amized what they told me for visa processing that its easy for them if I apply us/canada/schengan visa in this amount.

We went there with my partner for the free gift voucher that they call us we won for raffle but its not because theres no free voucher that we still can use in 15days or 30days.

This complains I hope someone can help me to resolved this problem that I face it now I cant sleep thinking about this I read many reviews about de meridians almost I read is bad experience,

I hope I will received my money back as they promise to me the 2 filipina lady and the indian manager.

I accept this because I amized what they told me for visa processing that its easy for them if I apply us/canada/schengan visa in this amount.

Hi! Gather all evidences you have most especially email exchanges and then file for credit card dispute preferably within 30days from transaction date. That's what we did last November 2023 and got approved just today (March 2024). Took a long time but this was my last option despite all my efforts communicating with them and with DED as well and it was worth it. Good luck!

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Need more assistance on my schengen visa process

I recently used De Meridian Loyalty card Services for my travel needs and overall, I was satisfied with their user-friendly packages. However, I did face some difficulties with my Schengen Visa process and flight tickets, and I feel that the company could improve in these areas.

One of the main issues I faced was with the Schengen Visa process. While De Meridian Loyalty card Services offers assistance with visa applications for an additional fee, I found that the process was not as smooth as I had hoped. The company only provided a basic list of documents required for the visa application, and I had to do my own research to ensure that I had all the necessary documents. Additionally, the visa application form was not provided by the company and I had to obtain it from the embassy's website, which was inconvenient.

Moreover, I had to constantly follow up with the company regarding the status of my visa application, as they did not provide updates unless I asked for them. This caused some unnecessary stress and anxiety, as I was unsure of the progress of my application.

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Loyalty card - looks like scam

One of my Friend in Dubai Subscribed their Loyalty Card Services, And He Paid AED. 12999 from his card, as the De Meridian Agreed that they will give 21 Days Stay plus Visa Services all over the World and Even offer EMI Scheme to Cover his card liability. Also Agreed that they will courier the Loalty card to him and his wife within 15 days to the Registered address. But Demeriadian team fails to stick on their commitments. They fail to Convert to EMI, Not Send Loyalty Cards. Now my friend is struggling to pay the cards as he is getting monthly penalty from bank.

While approaching the customer Service of De meridian team they are not responding properly because of this he posted a review over here. Now De meridian team is threatening to delete the Review and otherwise they are not ready to provide any services for which he paid AED. 12,999/-

Now all of you just think twice before signing the Contract with them,

As i said my friend paid AED. 12999 before 4 months not get any services plus he lost AED.3000+ as Bank Charges from his card. only because initially he believed this company .

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Unfortunate experience with de meridian - unresolved contract violations and false claims

My experience with De Meridian has been nothing short of disappointing, and despite my efforts to resolve issues amicably, the company has failed to provide a reasonable decision regarding my refund request since November 7.

Contract Violations:

* Delay in Welcome Kit Email: The company misspelled my email address, preventing me from receiving the Welcome Kit within the specified 48 hours. Despite my spouse receiving the email, the contract clearly states that the "Subscriber" is a person, not a couple (I signed as the Subscriber during the enrollment). This oversight constitutes a breach of contract, as they failed to deliver on even the smallest details.

* Non-receipt of Subscription Cards: Despite 15 working days passing since the payment date, the company failed to mail any subscription cards as outlined in the contract. The introduction of an E-CARD, not mentioned in prior communications, after my complaint further highlights their failure to fulfill contractual obligations.

Claims:

* EMI Plan: During the product presentation and initial customer service call, they assured us that someone from their bank partner would contact us to process our initial payment into an EMI plan, with reversal within 7 days. However, after raising a complaint, they falsely claimed that their bank partner had attempted to contact us, an assertion contradicted by our call logs. No evidence was presented from their side. We received communication from their bank partner 18th of Nov which was 9-10 working days post payment date and their bank partner claims we answered his call on the 14th of Nov which was incorrect.

* Deceptive Website Customer Reviews: Investigation revealed that the customer reviews section on their website contained stock photos falsely portraying them as actual customers. Despite claiming these were user-generated, they refused to provide login credentials for verification. The website's HTML codes showed the photos were intricately coded, contradicting their claim of dynamic user-generated content.

Despite clear contract violations and misleading claims, De Meridian continues to evade responsibility and refuses to issue a full refund. With these issues arising within the first month of our subscription, it's alarming to consider what else they might violate in the remaining three years of the contract. Sadly, they've lost our trust, and we demand a full refund.

Watch out for their bragging about a 4.5 Google rating, claiming they're the best in their field. Even though they say negative reviews aren't from their customers, most of the 5-star reviews lack decent content. We want a full refund.

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Services - refund

Dear Escalation Team,

Please be aware that I’ve opted to enroll myself in the loyalty card program, but due to low score i couldn’t get the card. (this was informed to Mr. Akshay & Mr. Pushkar) at the time of paying in the meeting at

Element Dubai Airport hotel. At the time paying neither Mr. Akshay nor Mr. Pushkar had informed us about any cancellation policy, they were only interested in selling the package & keen on taking the money.

Mr. Akshay had very clearly informed us that if the bank process doesn’t go through, we will get our full money back, which were paying at that time. Only with this confirmation we moved ahead & completed the paper work & paid the amount.

On 4th May 2023 Mr. Usman & Mr. Pushkar called me to your office at Al Garhoud at 18:30 hrs, only to inform me that De Meridian will not be able to refund or reverse my amount. I requested them to consider my request & do the needful& until today no updates from them yet.

PAID On 18th Apr 2023

EID AL FITR – Holidays

The public holiday until Sunday, April 23

24th Apr 2023 = Monday = 1st Working day

Mr. Usman has called me to office to inform me that you won’t be able to refund or reverse the paid amount as I’ve crossed 7 days policy., & they deduct 30% of total amount as cancellation policy.

NOTE: Please consider this as humble request to refund the amount as soon as possible Or I may have to escalate this matter to higher authorities & get this sorted.

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Scam and Fraud

This company is systematically and broad day light doing the scam by luring people with the fake promises and services during their presentation in any hotel within Dubai.

I can't explain how much I have suffered because of them , they have not just taken my money but they frustrated me every possible way they had.

Even when I told them to take the 30 %and rest refund they gave the wrong information they called me to their office and collected all the original receipts and promised me the amount will be refunded in 45 working days . And today 50 working days have already passed and now they are still not ashamed to give more dates .

I am going to complaint in DED and sue them in the court.

You are not just scaming but also lying and doing fraud . The person who s replied here should be behind bars for fraud and cheat case . There is an email evidence for the membership and they are denying the person . De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Reversal of fund

I wonder how all these people working in this company have the conscience to feed their families with their salary which they extort from the hard earned of other people.

I was also lured to take their bronze package amounting to AED 10,000 because of the promise of their personnel that payment will be on monthly installment basis for 2 years. They have convinced me to transfer the said amount to their account telling me that it will be a proof to their bank partner that the fund is available. The AED 10,000 will be reversed to my debit/credit card account after 7-10 days and then that time I can start my monthly payment of AED 416 for two years.

More than 1 month already passed and I still haven't received the reversal of fund. How many times I contacted their customer service but no clear instruction or date on how or when I will receive my money.

This company is a scam and don't be deceived with their too good to be true verbal offers as it is all lies as it is totally different with the offers written on the contract.

I want to share my experienced as a new Bronze subscriber at De Meridian and I would like to extend my appreciation to the reservation and Mr. Krish for their excellent assistance being a new subscriber to all of my headache inquiry.

A lot of reviews was telling that this company is scam but "Let me tell you that it's Not Scam" as long you communicate to the right person especially to Mr. Krish from reservation.

Just want to extend my Big thanks to De meridian team who arrange the hotel for my Daughter wedding in RAK. See you to my next Reservation, hoping for the same service.

A month ago

I just returned from my Baku vacation, and I wanted to take a moment to thank the entire team of De Meridian for their excellent services. From the moment I started planning my trip, the team was incredibly helpful and responsive. They answered all of my questions, made great recommendations, and took care of all the details.

The trip itself was seamless, and everything went according to plan. The hotels and flights were all top-notch, and the activities and tours were all well-organized and enjoyable.

Overall, I had a fantastic vacation, and I couldn't have done it without the help of them. I will definitely be using their services again in the future and will recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free vacation. Thank you for everything De Meridian.. KUDOS

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services De meridian is totally fraud, fraud, fraud!!! Alert

This is totally fraud company!.

They will anser your call and even they will call you back, they will speak nice.

But when you ask for services (not free of charge) against you paid, they will give you multiple excuses.

* I done duplicate payment against my subscription - in april 2023 they said in 10 days they will refund, then said 30 days then they gave me three times 3 commitment of refund, but nothing happened. Finally I raised complaint with bank. After giving them enough time. Now giving excuse take complaint back then we will pay... If they dont pay my money in 3 months how can I trust they will pay?

* I will tell honestly don't trust on them at all verbally and even if they send official email... Don't take back your complaint with bank or here only when they provide you service. Not assurance.

I never receive any service from them, they are using our money to eat food, and feed their families too using our money.

De Meridian Loyalty Card Services Free gift voucher hotel accommodation

I am writing this post to share my deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with De Meridian Loyalty Card Service LLC. My intention is to serve as a warning to others who may come across this company and to express my grievances with the relevant tourism authorities.

On 25-08-23, I received an unexpected phone call from Mr Ashiq [protected], claiming to be from De Meridian Loyalty Card Service LLC. They informed me that I had won a gift voucher for a hotel stay and movie tickets, which naturally piqued my interest. To claim my prize, I was asked to visit Hotel Element by Westin near Dubai Airport Terminal 1 with my family.

However, my excitement quickly turned into skepticism as I arrived at the location. Instead of receiving the promised gift voucher, I was bombarded with aggressive sales pitches for hotel packages that seemed too good to be true. They used high-pressure tactics to try and convince me to make a purchase, making grandiose promises about incredible hotel accommodations. I firmly reiterated that I was not interested in buying any packages and requested only the gift voucher I had initially been promised.

After some reluctance, they handed over the gift voucher, but only after I registered my name and provided my ID card.

I decided to give the gift voucher a try and followed the redemption instructions provided by De Meridian Loyalty Card Service LLC. I sent an email with the voucher attached, patiently waiting for a response. To my dismay, I received no acknowledgment or reply for four days. Frustrated, I reached out to them again, seeking an update on my voucher redemption. They assured me they would investigate and promised to call me back. Regrettably, I never received any further communication from them.

This experience has left me with serious doubts about the quality of their services and the authenticity of their offers. I am relieved that I did not commit to purchasing any of their packages on that day. I shudder to think about what could have happened if I had taken that step. It felt like a scam; they made false promises and failed to fulfill them.

Considering my ordeal, I want to caution others who may encounter De Meridian Loyalty Card Service LLC. I strongly advise against purchasing any packages from this company, as their complete lack of response to a simple voucher redemption inquiry raises significant concerns about their commitment to customer satisfaction. It appears they are solely interested in selling unrealistic packages and have no intention of delivering on their promises.

In conclusion, please exercise extreme caution when dealing with De Meridian Loyalty Card Service LLC. My hope is that my experience will serve as a warning to others and prevent them from falling victim to deceptive practices.

Please be careful with this company. They have the worst service in replying.

They will promise everything during their sales presentation when you claim

your free vouchers which in the end you will be fed up to claim it.
