Davis Miles McGuire Gardner

I have been a loyal client of this law firm for more than five years, during which I've paid them well over $100,000. My business is in the cannabis industry, and lately, I feel singled out. Throughout my time here, Marc and Ike have been outstanding. However, I recently had a different experience. Marc referred me to Brad for a consultation. To my surprise, the consultation with Brad was unsatisfactory. Importantly, at no point was I informed of any fees associated with this consultation, nor did I sign any agreement to such effect. Given the significant fees I've already paid the firm, I assumed a basic consultation would be included.

It was a shock when I was subsequently billed $4,000 for this consultation, which in my opinion, provided no real value. I've attempted to address this issue with the firm several times, but they remain adamant about the charge and have even begun accruing interest on it. I have always been willing to pay for valuable services, but this situation feels unjust. I would advise against working with Brad in the future. I find it unreasonable for the firm to pursue me for a $4,000 fee for a consultation that was neither beneficial nor agreed upon in advance.

I'm a Legal Shield member since the 90s and paying $40.50 every month. We got sued, but no help. Many issues, no help. They helped only when we paid $300 for seat covers, which were not custom. My husband passed, and they helped with the funeral home charging more on a prepaid cremation. My older brother died, and I became a trustee of my mother's estate. I asked Davis Miles for help with paperwork, but they said they couldn't help since the property was in ***. I also had problems getting my share of my brother's ***. Davis Miles said they couldn't help since the bank, One West, was in ***. They transferred me to ***, and they said someone would call me back on March 16, 2022. They're supposed to call back within 4 hours or the next day, but I'm not getting the service I paid for.

Don't waste your money on Davis Miles McGuire Gardner if you're paying monthly for their services, especially if you're an educator. They don't do much legal representation, mostly just legal advice. I needed someone to write a letter to the Arizona Board of Education and represent me at a hearing, but they said they couldn't due to a conflict of interest. It didn't make sense because the case was already dismissed in court. The case was about a pretense that I punched a student while substitute teaching, so it shouldn't have been difficult to defend me.
