I was charged $2995 by them for my case - did not provide report and asked for additional $2000 for testing medical samples after the testing came back positive for mold. I was told the testing and any additional expenses were included in the original $2995 I paid. They refused to send me the final report and have refused to provide me a at cost refund - the lab test they performed could not have cost anywhere more than $400 which is the market rate for a swab and air sample test.

The Mold Law Group assigned a so-called case manager to me, but all they did was tell me to find my own lawyer. Unfortunately, no lawyer was willing to take my case, not even the ones they recommended. Now I'm left without a case and out of $10,000. This company is nothing but a scam, so please don't give your money to the Mold Law Group. Instead, find a lawyer and seek assistance from someone else who can genuinely help you.

Mold Law Group, let me tell you, they got this big ol' agenda to make some serious cash off folks who done been victimized by mold exposure. Now, here's the thing, they gonna build you a mold case, but ain't no real lawyers workin' for 'em. Can you believe that? Unless you got over a million bucks worth of mold damages to your home and health, you ain't gonna get very far, my friend.

And then they gonna tell ya, "Oh, don't you worry, you gonna get reimbursed in court." But let me tell ya, that's a big ol' lie! You can build your own case, collect your own evidence, and test your own self and house for way cheaper than what these folks are sellin'. So, my advice to you, my friend, is to stay far away from Mold Law Group. Don't waste your time or your hard-earned money on 'em. You can do it all yourself, and you'll be just fine. Trust me on that one.

I made the mistake of ignorin all the bad reviews posted for Mold Law Group. So, I ended up wastin $8,000 which I paid to Mold Law Group for absolutely useless mold testin and law suit organization. These people are not lawyers! They are deceivers and scammers. They will claim to help you even though they know your potential law suit for mold is useless from Day One. Mold Law Group knew I had a mold problem with a rental unit in California in 2016. Mold Law Group did not bother to tell me that the opportunity to file a suit for damages in California ended in 2018. (The 2-year Statute of Limitations.)

They also told me I could collect damages for physical health issues which we felt were caused by the mold problems. California state law no longer allows tenants to sue for physical health issues caused by mold contamination. Mold Law Group knows all this, as California attorneys have BEGGED them to stop misleadin California tenants. Yet Mold Law Group keeps takin money, large sums of money, for doomed cases. These people at Mold Law Group are friendly, but they are not your friends.

Save your money and avoid these scammers! Quick, go talk to a real lawyer once you discover there are mold problems in your rental. A real attorney can tell you what your options are. Don't allow Mold Law Group to spend your hard-earned money for useless documentation.

I gotta warn ya, stay away from this company, seriously! They're a bunch of scammers, I'm tellin' ya. If I had the option, I'd give 'em zero stars, but unfortunately, that ain't possible. Now, here's the real kicker. If ya try to cancel and get yer hard-earned cash back, they'll flat out tell ya, "No way, Jose!" They won't budge an inch, even if ya beg 'em to stop. Can ya believe that? They ain't even a legit law group, believe it or not. When the bank calls 'em up to check on the payment, they go ahead and call themselves a PR group. Talk about shady business practices, am I right?

Oh, but it gets even better. They got lawyers workin' for 'em, but they'll swear up and down that they don't offer any legal services. Ain't that a hoot? They're just tryin' to cover their own behinds, I reckon. And get this, if ya wanna prove your case, they'll have the audacity to tell ya to send 'em some poop in the mail. Yeah, you heard me right. Poop! Can ya believe the nerve of these folks?

I tried to cancel on the very same day they supposedly did their inspection and collected samples. But guess what? They flat out refused. All they did was send some fella to supposedly collect air samples, and then they sent those so-called samples to a lab over a week later. And ya know why? So they could legally keep my hard-earned $1800 without givin' me a single penny back. Can ya believe the nerve of these folks?

And get this, they'll make ya sign a contract too. And in that contract, it says they can just hop on a web search engine if they don't know the answers to yer legal questions. Can ya believe that? I didn't even sign the darn contract myself, someone else did. And wouldn't ya know it, I didn't even see the contract until after they took my money. Now, try as I might, I still can't get a refund.

So, folks, take it from me. Stay far, far away from this Mold Law Group. They're nothin' but a bunch of crooks tryin' to take advantage of innocent folks like you and me. Save yer money and find a reputable company instead. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

I always always ALWAYS check reviews, except this time. I was scammed exactly the same way as the other people here, and IMO it was even more messed up that they just kept lying to me and manipulating me, because as I told them, I am *veryill, too ill to have to deal with mold in my autistic son's apartment in another state OR BEING SCAMMED OUT OF $2,000. I was extremely distraught, and *I don't know how they sleep at night taking advantage of anyone, let alone an ill mother like me.*

So it happened to me because I'm so ill that I misread how to interpret the original mold test that was done by a reputable company, and it looked like the mold levels were 10 times higher than the *minimumunsafe level. If I hadn't done that then obviously none of this would have happened, but I didn't figure it out until the next day, which is when I started asking for a refund. Tonight I realized I was definitely getting the runaround from this woman who was supposedly "helping" me, so I went online to check reviews and found this site.

And they can get away with it because of the darn second part in the contract about the consulting fee being non-refundable. Obviously I would have signed it anyway even if I had read that, because I was so frantic, scared, worried, and TRUSTING, and she was SO nice and empathetic and reassuring, that it was an incredible relief that someone was going to be able to handle all of this for me.

UGH!

Edited two days later: I found a voicemail from a manager (?) who said he understands I'm having a problem doing the next phase of this process, and he'll be happy to help me if I call the number he gave me.

Then I found an email this morning from a totally different person, supposedly a case manager, to remind me that they still haven't received the pictures they need for the pack up and insurance claim, and to reach out if I need any help with that.

I know it won't get me anywhere, but I emailed her back repeating that I misinterpreted the results and don't need their services, hence my cancellation, and I want my refund.

I'm on the phone with the fraud dept of the bank right now to dispute the charges.

Update: So, I called the bank's fraud department and explained the whole situation to them. They seemed understanding and assured me that they would investigate the charges and try to resolve the issue. It's such a relief to know that someone is finally taking my concerns seriously. I just hope they can help me get my hard-earned money back.
