In June I found a car on their website I was interested in
In June I found a car on their website I was interested in. I called to inquire the status and request a quote. Eric S "helped" me by never sending the quote, and processing what I thought would be a pre-qualification as he assured me multiple times verbally it would only be a soft check. 7/21 I got a letter declining my credit application. I checked my credit and the inquiry was in fact a hard check, despite what Eric "assured" me. Multiples times contacting the business, ***, and Eric to assist in getting a letter of deletion led to nothing, except me being frustrated. Dates of contact: 7/21, 7/28, 8/4, 8/5, 8/6, 8/10, 8/12, 8/15, and 8/21. A report was also filed with the ***, and attempted with ***.

I had service performed on my Hyundai *** by Danbury Hyundai in October
I had service performed on my Hyundai *** by Danbury Hyundai in October. They replaced a part on the turbo. After the replacement I started having another issue with the Turbo, I contacted them but they said the next available appointment was in January. Today 12/30 I stopped into the dealership to show them what the vehicle was doing and to have them take a quick look at it so they could reference the problem in January. I spoke with the service advisor Al who was more than accommodating in getting the vehicle in to read the service code. The service manager Bill S came out and told me he would no longer be servicing my Hyundai based on previous reviews I had left for their business. He said I should find another Hyundai dealer. He is also refusing to perform an open recall on the brakes on the vehicle and honor any further warranty work on the vehicle by Hyundai. This situation needs to be resolved. It seems if you don't leave him 5 star service ratings he refuses to work on your vehicle. There is still an issue with the turbo that was caused by this dealership and now they are refusing to fix it and they are refusing to perform a safety recall on my brakes. I feel as though this situation came about because I made mention of having a boyfriend and being a gay male. He overheard this and that's when the statement was made not to come back. I feel as though he's discriminating as well

This dealership falsely told me that I was approved for a lease on a car with my co-signer and I was "locked in" for the car
This dealership falsely told me that I was approved for a lease on a car with my co-signer and I was "locked in" for the car. They told me I would be getting the car either today or yesterday. I gave them a $5,295 deposit. I was instructed by the salesman, Carlos, to put said car on my insurance (he provided me with a VIN) and then to email him proof of insurance of aforementioned vehicle (insurance card) on my insurance. I did this and put the effective date as 8/31 as instructed by the salesman. I then received a bewildering message from this salesman on Monday that reads " Hyundai did not accept your brother as your co-signer and will not approve you guys for a lease. I can refund your money today. Im personally embarrassed and i apologize for this but i gather everything and give it to the finance dept. call me back but anymore details about not being approved, i have to direct you to the Finance Manager Shamus". I then called Shamus to get further information as to what happened. He told me it was due to the fact my *** and the co-signer's was so different and because we lived on opposite sides of the country. He told me if I could provide a piece of mail that indicated my brother co-owns the house I reside in, they would surely approve it. He told me he would give me a call back to try and figure everything out, never did. I came to find out through another Hyundai dealer, they never even submitted my application as they claimed they did to Hyundai's bank. They also sold "my car" to someone else, and I was able to confirm with Hyundai corporate they did this behind my back without informing me, meanwhile I had the VIN of another person's car on MY insurance per their demand to put it on there. I have no idea just how many days this car was on my insurance and belonged to someone else due to the lies and negligence of this dealership.
