I put a deposit of 20,000AED in March 2022 on a villa in Dubai. After 4 weeks I found out Damac has sold the property to someone else. They were well aware they sold it to someone else from day one but pretended selling it to me and taking money from me. I visited in May 22 to request my money back which they agreed however till today October 22 I still have not received my money back. I chased every week with emails. completing forms and texting the agents so far nothing. they lied and lied that I am getting it next week, but it never happens.
Dubai is going to have a very bad name if they continue to let the Pakistani and Indian staff running the country- they are full of lies and corrupted.
Dubai says they have a very strict law- where is their law allowing Damac to be so corrupted and full of lies.
