I have so many great things to say! Walt is not only super communicative but also super knowledgeable. He lets you know what to expect, service wise and costs, too. If anything changes (because we all know that home repairs can get tricky when walls are opened), Walt explains everything right away and offers solutions. Walt went way out of his way to help us when our toilet failed and brought a great assistant with him. They were so respectful, efficient, courteous and, best of all, fast problem solvers! We'll be hiring Walt for all future projects and feel so confident in highly recommending him to neighbors & friends!

Walt is exceptional at his craft. We waited a year to get on his schedule and he's well worth the wait. He turned my vision into reality and created the bathroom of my dreams. His trim work and attention to detail is top notch. Walt is a true craftsman. He has also transformed my main floor with brand new luxury vinyl plank flooring (which he suggested and I LOVE). Walt and his crew were/are professional, efficient and hard working. They always leave the job site CLEAN. We already have plans to hire Walt for a second phase of construction at our home. I've already referred Walt to family and friends because I know he goes above and beyond.

Walt and his employees are top notch! He recently completed several projects at my house to include: 1.) Installing Luxury Vinyl Plank on my entire second floor. 2.) Replaced all the baseboard on my entire second floor (installed , chalked , and painted). 3.) Redid the entire staircase with a new banister and oak treads. 4.) Crown Molding in four rooms and wainscoting in two rooms. 5.) Painted trim work and doors. If you are looking for a talented individual who can do it all and cares about his work - look no further. It's extremely hard to find a trustworthy individual now a days and I'm glad Walt was recommended to me. Highly recommended!

We had several things in our house that needed repair including needing a new toilet, a door that wouldn't close properly and window handle that had broken and wouldn't close (just to name a few). After bugging my husband about the repairs, he called Walt to come over to repair "everything" and that's exactly what Walt did! In less than an hour Walt repaired everything in our house that needed to be fixed. He was not only efficient but super friendly. I also took a look several photos of work he is doing on other homes and it was super impressive! He is so talented and his work is flawless. I would HIGHLY recommend Walt for literally ANYTHING that you need done to your home.

Walt has truly made a LONG awaited dream come true. I have been admiring his craftsmanship for more than a year now and knew that when I was ready, he was the contractor for me. Now I have the trim work of my dreams and I could not be happier. Walt is reliable, accommodating, talented and just such a good guy. It just so happened that our kitchen sink clogged and we asked Walt for advice. Without hesitation he got down under the sink and helped us with the clog. It's not even what we hired him for and he was so gracious. Character matters and I could not be happier that Walt and I finally got the opportunity to collaborate. Thanks, Walt! Amazing work and if I could give the owner Walt an A++, I would. These guys are awesome and so professional. Work was done as promised with: very high quality, at a reasonable cost , and super clean. Even if it is a busy season, it is worth waiting if you can. However when I needed essential work done, Walt was able to get it done in a timely fashion. Description of Work I have a house that was built in the 1970s and there is other work I am planning on having Walt do. All the sudden, my shower was not functioning. What needed fixing was the shower diverter. That is the switch that controls the flow of water between the tub faucet and the showerhead. Walt came over right when it was beginning to snow and got me up and running again. It was marvelous in such a situation to get the job done right.

My daughter is working with Constructive Design to redo her bathroom and her kitchen island. I called Walt to see if he could give me a price on replacing 10 doors on an outbuilding of our historic home so that I could give the “promise" of new doors to my husband for Christmas. Not only did Walt come right away to price the job, but he actually built and delivered the doors before Christmas. The doors are custom and were built from scratch to match the existing doors. He also was able to install lighting and outlets in the building as well! He really came through to help me. We have a long list of future projects for Walt and expect to be working with him to make improvements to our home for a very long time. He does great work, is reasonably priced and keeps his promises. What more can you ask for in a contractor!?

Walt of Constructive Design was recommended by a friend and we are happy to say that he's done a lovely job on our home. We definitely plan to work with Walt on a number of projects in the future. He is knowledgeable about many areas of remodeling and renovation saving us a great amount of time and money by handling several scope areas on each visit. He completed nearly a whole-house renovation for our very dated 1960's home and gave us many design options and solutions that look fabulous! It doesn't look like the same house! Walt is kind and responsive and worked with us to nail down expectations, scheduling, and communications over our months-long project. Walt is in high demand so it's key to keep up communication on all facets of the project. This is a challenge some days but you'll be so very happy with the results!

Walt and his team just finished our main bathroom renovation and we are thrilled with the finished look! Our bathroom was super outdated and the project was a long time coming. Walt worked with us to fit us into his schedule, even though he has been super busy. Even though there were some unforeseen delays in getting the project started, he always kept us updated and once we had the material ready to go, he was able to commit to a week to get our project started and finished. He gave us updates each day on the progress and sent pictures of all the work being done. He added such nice detailing to the space. It is a total transformation. He also did some work in our kitchen such as painting the cabinets and replacing our oven hood/microwave which was awesome. We love all the updates and details he added and are very happy with the work he did for us!

We had less than a month to make some major renovations to our Townhome. Walt and his team were great to work with. They arrived promptly when scheduled and they quickly and very professionally helped us tile the kitchen, install countertops, lay down new flooring, bathroom renovation as well as worked on deck painting and repair. Along the way, Walt made suggestions that improved our design or made the work more cost effective. The renovations looked wonderful and we were very happy with the results. Some contractors either don't return phone calls or they over promise and either don't show up or show up late. Walt and his team are the opposite. They are responsive, do high quality work in a timely manner and will make sure to meet your deadline. If you're uncertain, be sure to ask Walt for pictures of his jobs and you'll see the workmanship. We plan to work with them again on our next project (roofing) and would highly recommend them.
