False advertising
Saw advertised price on contacts with a coupon for $15 a box . Went thru the whole process of ordering get ready to check out says total is $111 total. Then hit ship order and then that page said $247 .They added on a $89 processing fee and $19 shipping . So I then wanted to find out if they charged me $89 processing because they gave me coupon discount so I made an order without using a coupon paying full price for contacts and the processing fee dropped to $14 with free shipping . So they are false advertising because if you use coupon code they get it back by charging you a high processing fee . The contacts were the same price either way. This practice should be against the law

I gotta say, I wasn't too impressed with Opticontacts. I mean, I was excited to try them out because of their low prices, but boy was I disappointed. I got my first order of lenses and I had to keep changing the left one every week because it seemed like the prescription was getting weaker by the day. It was so frustrating! This company will make their money by raising their insurance and processing fees and shipping fees on "sale" contacts so you are not getting the sale price at ALL! This is completely deceiving and I will never order from them again! I have included photos of how the insurance and processing fee changed for the same contacts lens based on whether you are paying regular price or "sale price" from $8.26 to $26.38. Also shipping changed from $9.95 to $12.95 for same 2 boxes. Absolutely ridiculous!

I mean, a $10 processing fee is one thing, but almost $80 in fees? That's just ridiculous. Needless to say, I didn't complete the purchase this time around. I caught the change in total before finishing checkout, thank goodness.

I've had three contacts tear and they are all from the same box! I am so frustrated! Now I'll have to purchase another box to use. I purchased these from Opti Contacts. They have not been helpful at all. They told me you have to call Accuvue if they are tearing. Did not give me a phone number or anything. Will not be using them again!

I ordered one box of soft contact lenses and received two invoices for the same contact lens order for a second order.
I ordered one box of contact lenses after I had a cornea transplant on my left eye (as a piggy back for my gas permeable lens). I checked the opticontacts website and noticed that there are two invoices from opticontacts website, both with different prices, the least invoice cost is in the amount of $41.48. The most expensive invoice is in the amount of $48.43. I only need one box for this year (2019). I need to return the 2nd box before the lens warranty expires 90 days after the order was placed.

I found Opticontact pricing to be extremely misleading too. Who ever heard of a $73 processing and insurance fee on an $80 order! You don't see the $73 processing fee until you get to the last screen. It should be shown before you enter credit card information. I think their practice is very unethical.
