www.iOffer.com / scam and fraud

Buyers Beware!!!

Internet site www.iOffer.com created by scammers for scammers!!!

I was scammed on this site twice by two different "Merchants" .

iOffer scam works this way:

You place your offer for specific item, than your offer accepted by "merchant" and Pay Pal invoice through iOffer.com send to you for payment.

You payment transaction presumably is safe, but the catch is - Pay Pal buyers protection guaranties only to ebay purchases.

After payment is made you will receive Pay Pal notification with EMS tracking number and you will impatiently wait for your ordered item sent from China or some other place for 7 to 10 days.

When you receive the item you will realize that the item shipped is completely different from what you ordered and has no value at all.

Pay Pal will dismiss your dispute and iOffer.com will not accept any responsibilities other than revoking "merchant" membership and sending internal site mail that "Your recent purchase could be fraudulent"

Here you go - You loose your money to Frauds!!!

yes, ioffer and paypal are such a scammers, both of them won't protect you if you don't get the items that you purchased.i've been a victim of this recently, although it was the first time it happened to me but i was so confident before that i was protected if something like this would happen but i was totally wrong!now i know, never ever buy from ioffer and never pay by paypal...we should learn from what me and others experienced!

I signed up with my credit card, ioffer took my $20 & I was never allowed to sell anything or place a bid to buy a movie I have been looking for for years. They stated my account was frozen due to mis-use of the site. "What mis-use, I am never allowed to use the site since the stole my money"!!!

I had the same problem with ioffer as others. I ordered a Playstation 3 through LAIQIANLA15 in China(big mistake!). They gave me a tracking number and said it would be 7 t0 10 days. I thought because I paid through PayPal I was safe if anything happened. I was wrong!
I didn't get the item for 15 days and reported to PayPal. They were investigating while in the mean time I recieved a package in the mail much smaller than a Playstation with the tracking number on that package that matched the order.

I was sent a fake Gucci watch worth maybe $10 in it's place! PayPal then said they no longer could help because I recieved an item from the vendor and they can't be responsible for the quality or the item you recieved. In other words anyone can sell you what you want and send you anything in it's place!

Needless to say the Ioffer vendor never responded to numerous emails. I lost $230 and a Christmas present for my son. Please don't count on the seller or PayPal.At least investigate that seller first...

The problem is YOU.Paypal will honor disputes on 'tangable'goods, but are not going to help you one bit on illegal items such as cialis, bootleg items, steroids. Now what did you order from China?Be for real, you got busted. However, if paypal finds out illegal items are purchased, BOTH buyer and seller will get canned from paypal.Sound familiar?

I purchased ten Broadway show discs from "Bwayrox" @ iOffer - paid for them (Western Union) in December including extra $5.00 postage. Seller, Barbra Bongiardino, claims they were held up in February snowstorm though they should have been delivered long before snow fell. She did not use trackable mail service which she claims is not available from USPS - more BS - allowing her to pocket a little more from saving on postage. Never received them and she now wants proof I did not receive them (how do you prove a negative? - go figure) - says I am a lunatic for bothering her and refuses absolutely to refund money ($75.00) or make duplicate shipment. Am also concerned with iOffer itself since cannot find any place to report or complain and believe it is a site for scammers who cannot operate under eBay regulations. Barbra probably contravenes NY Zoning/Planning/Business Licence regulations in operating illegally from her home; trademark and copyright regulations since she probably burns discs without licence or permission and tries to skirt prosecution with "homemade" escape notification at time of sale; not to mention the further probabilities of IRS, business and other tax violations. No wonder all the homes on her street have barred windows - it's to get people like her familiar with their futures! I blame only myself for being a gullible fool - I was in a hurry to locate a Christmas present - but strongly suggest you stay away from Barbra and iOffer.

    Actually Dick Browne/Richard G. Browne/ R. G. Browne / 8 Blackburn Avenue, / NOTTAWA, ON / Canada L0M 1P0 .. you are only stating your side of the story.

You actually wired $$ via Western Union and I did receive it. I was confused as you claimed you sent a m.o. and I was flipping through a money order file trying to find your order. So, that is cleared up.Unfortunately merchandise does get lost via our postal system, it happens. No, you cannot track an international package via usps. If you wanted tracking/insurance you should have specified that from the beginning. I would have worked with you to find a suitable carrier. The $5.00 shipping charge for 10 dvds is actually quite fair. Shipping from USA to Canada is pricey, how am I pocketing your $$? Do you think shipping is free for sellers? Again, I was quite clear in my ad about all my selling methods. Why are you griping in a public forum now? Because I am not intimidated by your abusive e-mails?Your name calling and racist comments about the neighborhood I live in? Why are you google earthing my address anyway? what does that prove?

How about telling everyone about the over 300+ positive feedback comments?I have repeat, satisfied customers who won't buy anywhere else? No, all you see is your unfortunate negative experience.I clearly state no refunds, replacements only. I have no proof you didn't receive your order.

I was happy to re-ship another order, but you quickly started insulting me publicly. How is that proper etiquette? Anything I stated as a possible reason for loss/misshipment was shot down by you as a lie!

I strongly suggest all sellers stay away from Richard G Browne in Canada. He likes to publicly abuse sellers and google information!

Again, happy to re-ship (apparently order has been lost )if you retract all your false comments.

    XOXO! Peace to all!

iOffer is a scam run by street gangs delinquents that take no responsibility for the quality or honesty of their sellers. I purchase a pair of boots from their site at the cost of $218. after a few days of not getting any information from the seller i contacted Pay pay for a refund. I was told that as long as i have a tracking number they wouldn't give a refund. After 3 weeks I receive a box with a pair of USED old boots "not before I have to sign for the delivery" I contacted iOffer but they never had giving me an answer as to why they let this delinquents post on their site!. iOffer is as guilty as the delinquent thatt run freely under their control on their site, posting as legitimate business when in fact are a bunch of the thief protected by iOffer. In retaliation of my complains iOffer had deleted all my notes/complains from their site, and had put my account under review because of the complain. On the last note from iOffer they informed me the the seller has been suspended from iOffer for "violating iOffer's policies" but that I should contact the seller for a refund (pathetic) !!! I wouldn't recommend this site anybody, you are much better protected at E-bay. There If you purchase an item and you pay with Pay pal they an the item is not as describe Pay pal will refund your money, but they do not cover you if you purchase an item in any other site. My recommendation is never to use iOffer.. they are a bunch delinquents that protect other delinquents. See below iOffer response to my complain Your request (#89032) has been updated. I was scammed along with everyone else that bought from the same vendor. My problem is that I really wanted a particular handbag and one that was not frequently copied.

I found the product on ioffer, and asked all kinds of questions, looked at previous feedback (3 positive) that I now know were fake for small sums of money just to lure people in, and realized ex post facto that all pictures as well as descriptions of items were copied directly from ebay.

I haven't received the goods, but it is counterfeit (handbag), and I paid $150 which I know to be a loss, as one other purchaser from the same vendor received a bag worth about $10, instead of the $200 bag she had paid for and ordered. I knew I took a risk and I also know that paypal is no help here. I will launch a dispute when I receive my $10 item instead of my $150 bag.

They send working tracking numbers to buy time so that others can part with their monmey before all the negative feedback pops up.

The same vendor has popped up under different names aliases on ioffer- How do we protect people? There is no mechansim to communicate with the other purchasers who were scammed by the same frudulent vendor.

I think it may be safe to buy from some vendors on ioffer, but only if they are well researched and have lots of positive recent feedback. Ioffer charges the vendor based on the total purchase price, so I would say that those with hundreds of positive feedbacks probably are safe to buy from.
