I moved to Union, NJ 07083 in December 2016. I kept receiving a ton of mail from various individuals that do not live in my apartment. I put 'Return To Sender' on all of the mail and even crossed out the address only to have them put the mail back in my box. This has also caused my legitimate mail to not come through, which I find rather odd since I put in a change of address TWICE! Well, after 2 months someone from the Union office called me 'Ingrid' who asked me to do the job of the Post Office by confirming my address with the leasing office. Why should I do that when some of the real mail came through with the address that's on my lease. She came up with an answer that was so elementary that I decided to humor her. So, of course as I call the number she gave no one is answering. I doubt if this gets anywhere because this is a cycle, a game to place undo responsibility on the public they serve while heading out to lunch for their happy meal. I have mail that I need to receive and I'm at wits end trying to get them to DO THEIR JOB.

Actually, it is NOT their job. It is the job of the former tenants to change their addresses. They asked for your help so that they can deliver your mail. Stop being a witch and help, or don't get your mail. Fill out a PERMANENT HOLD form for each of the people who use your address, so that their mail does not come to you. Your carrier has limited time to deliver thousands of pieces of mail. They do not have time to go through each address to separate it. If you can't be bothered, just collect the mail each week, then hand it to the carrier.

@Wine Is Good Wow, somebody didn't have their coffee (or tea) today. Don't get your britches twisted, please READ what I wrote in my complaint. It's not my responsibility to write up a hold form for other people when it belongs to them. There is a process in place if I write return to sender if the address information isn't correct. I've even had mail come back to me if the information isn't correct which means the post office should send it to the originator. Not put it back into the box. And, it is their job if the change of address was submitted 1 month PRIOR to moving.

@grace42 I can see that you highness will still be crying about this in a year since you are too good to take matters into your own hand.

Lol. Bye Felicia. Look in the mirror at who is the one being passive aggressive crying on the internet about her mail problem instead of fixing it like a big girl. Take the diaper off and put your big girl panties on. Unless you are wearing a vagina hat, then that explains everything.

You think your bye Felicia means anything to anyone over the age of 12? Please girl. Take control of the problem and fix it instead of continuing to cry on the internet.
