RE: Thermasol Steam unit purchased and installed January, 2018
Anyone claiming thermasol.com is a reputable company with worthwhile products and acceptable customer service must be either an employee or bribed because this company is absolutely terrible. We have a new unit, installed properly, all directions followed to a T, yet have had problems with it from day one. Every representative has offered conflicting advice, but nothing has been resolved. Don't buy anything from Thermasol unless you have money to waste.
This company has no Better Business Bureau rating, does not respond to queries, complaints, issues, or suggestions to resolve the problem. The company has our money and doesn't give a hoot about the malfunctioning unit.
After three controllers and two generators, this Thermasol steam unit still does not work properly. Shortly after installation the unit began malfunctioning; it would not turn off, necessitating throwing the breaker on the electric panel to turn the unit on and off. Afterwards it was just constant diagnostics, phone calls, emails, working it out with Thermasol. The different techs, at least four, all gave different and conflicting information regarding the temperature increments, which still do not respond properly.
One of the techs declared we needed a chemical water filter which costs more than the entire unit and shower stall together, information that turned out to be false. We have excellent pure water and a whole house filter. To this day we have not received compensation for switching out the steam generator despite the policy of reimbursement for such matters.
We are extremely disappointed in this company, their product, their customer service, their management, their lack of integrity. They have received the receipt for changing the generator, but they are ignoring us completely. Two months have lapsed with no communication or response from Thermasol. They also refuse to disclose information regarding the owner/s of this company.
We have suggested to no avail that they pick up and accept the return of this unit and refund the purchase cost of $3500.
Don't waste your money and time with Thermasol.
