Taco Cabana foreign object in food

It's pretty simple. The cleanliness of the restaurant is evidently highly questionable. Either it's that, or they use the absolute lowest grade of meat that can still be legally used for human consumption. I bought a steak fajita taco from and bit down into what I believe was a rock of some sort. I contacted the company and they are basically telling me that they don't care.
A $6.02 meal instantly turned into a soon to be $602 (and growing) dental bill for the major work I'm going to have to get done.
I've always been a fan but that has changed now that I am aware of the type of company I'm dealing with.
Spend the extra money and eat somewhere else.

Taco Cabana worst service

I just received the worst service of MY LIFE. The taco cabana in Allen Texas address 810 Stacy Road Allen tx. I went inside used the restroom and came out to order. I get to the register and order two bean and cheese tacos( which i also do) and the guy runs my card he said declined. I thought that was strange didn't pay attention to it so i pull out my American Express card that one also declined.( now I'm worried) Then i pull out a capital one card and that one too declined. So i use a gift card that one also declined. I explained to the man i have money on all four of these cards I'm confused. The man at the register stated "that it worked before i came here its my card". So i leave out upset, and worried. So i call my credit card places and they all said fine. I go to race track next door to the shopping center which the taco cabana is located and do four separate transaction for some candy and they all worked so i was relieved but sill embarrassed. so i call up to taco cabana and proceed to complain. the "manager" on duty hung up on me three different times and told me it was my cards. is this how you treat people? if so i dont need to ever return. I was humiliated and my cards actually worked. I will never go back. IF you track my cards you will see i go there at least once a week and order the same thing. there is nothing but high school kids that work in there and they are extremely rude. THank you taco cabana for defaming my name and making me ashamed. I would have been ok if he would have said its a system error. but he didn't. Im filling a BBB complaint you guys care nothing about people.

Ordered food w/ no pico, no rice, & no beans. Told them about my reaction to onions! pico was on the food! i gave it back & got a replacement. Reported it to the mgr. I get home, bite into my food & rice & onions was hidden under the lettuce. My tongue swole & difficulty breathing called & and requested the number to corporate. I have yet to hear from.

Do not go to the Taco Cabana on IH35N off O'Connor Rd. They not only ruined over $300 worth of school books of mine by not closing their salsas properly but they also forget to honor the coupons. What's the point of doing the feedback questionaire if you're not getting your discount?

Waited 20 min in drive thru, car in front drove off, car in back drove off finally i did the same. I should have known by how rude the guy taking my order was. This is not the 1st time Ive had problems there. I will take my buisiness to Las Palapas or ChaChos from now on!

Taco Cabana horrible management and customer service

I went the taco cabana on SE Military drive to thru the drive thru i waiting 3 minutes for the car in front of me to get help when I pulled up a voice told me they would be with me in a minute which turn into literally 15 minutes of waiting before pulling off to go to another restaurant I called and spoke with a manager name Diana she apologized but never offer a solution while getting me the corporate # i heard her yelling at her employees to call the other manager to help them . I called the corporate #and place my complaint after the lady heard me vent she ask for my info including address and email . She said she would follow the steps to take care of the problem. 10 mins later my phone is ringing it the manager Diana calling me from her personal cell phone stating i lied about what i said ..After me having to raise my voice to get a word on I couldnt believe they would allow management to call back customer to treat them like crap i found out not only was she calling from her cell phone but she was off the clock and not even in the store!WTH ! I called corporate #back to find out not only does the store get your # but your address as well Privacy Much! I CAN NOT BELIEVE WHAT KIND EXPERIENCE I HAD EVERYONE WILL KNOW NEVER TRUST TACO CABANA

Taco Cabana poor food quality

Food was disgusting. I picked up breakfast after work. I work nights and was taking my kids something to eat before taking them to school. It was cold, poorly made, and tasted horrible. Just to give you an idea, I'm including a picture of 2 of the tacos i ordered, carne guisada with cheese. I had ordered a few other breakfast tacos as well but didn't take a picture. This is what they passed off as food. Ridiculous. Disgusting. NEVER going there again.

HI MY NAME IS BRITTANY JOHNSON I HAVE BEEN WITH TACO CABANA GOING ON THREE YEARS. I WORKED AT STORE NUMBER 144 ON BELLAIRE AND 59. Taco Cabana money network

I hate money network it makes me want to rip my eyes out. The mobile app won't work because every time I register at some point in the process when I try to submit my information it tells me something is incorrect when its not. For example one page I typed and confirmed my email (correctly at that) and checked off 4 boxes then I can't move past that point when I've done everything correctly! Now I have to call and hear annoying talking when I just want to see my freaking balance!

Taco Cabana 40 minute wait incorrect order

Store #20256 Taco Cabana Humble, Tx
After a long day, I stopped here for quick and easy food. I placed my order at 9pm. I ordered a steak fajita taco combo + the works (avocado, tomato, etc) a drink and two cheese tacos. After 30 minutes I stood at the receiving window to get my food and I was told they had to remake the cheese tacos because they put beans on them. Although I was upset I waited because that's what my son wanted. I finally received the order, got to my car, and the cheese tacos were cold. I went back in and asked for them to be warmed up. I was told that they don't normally warm them up. She went ahead and warmed them up after I asked twice. Once I got the warm cheese tacos, I got back in my car, drive off and guess what! The fajita tacos were plan. NO WORKS. It was 9:40pm at this point. I called the store and customer service.

Taco Cabana thousand oaks @ perrin beitel

Incredibly bad service and poor food quality (even for a fast food taco place). One example: went through drive thru in the morning. I was asked to pull up even though no one was behind me. I then watched as three workers stood around while one supposedly put together my order. She talked with her hands, clearly taking her time. My order was finally brought out, only to find out it was incorrect. The worker left to fix it and never came back. I backed up to the window and asked to speak to the manager. Turns out she was the one talking away while making my order. The tacos were tiny, made incorrectly (I was charged for items but given the wrong items) and room temperature. The manager could not have cared less. She didn't apologize - just sort of walked away from the window. I was simply amazed. No wonder that place is always quiet. It's a good thing there are many options for tacos here.

Taco Cabana rude service and lying employees

I just encountered one of Taco Cabana's rudest employees to date, her name is Luara, employee number 27198 according to my reciept.
She asked me to pull up when there was no one behind me in line and when I told her, the order always seems to be wrong when I do that, so I would rather not, she got attitude with me, and gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes.
While I was waiting there for my order, my son said his sprite tasted funny and after tasting it, it ws obvious the sprite was out. I told her and she proceeded to role her eyes, again, and walk off with the sprite to get it replaced.
I called after we got our food and asked for the manager and the person who answered said that was her. I proceeded to tell her my experience and she made excuses for the employee and then acted like I should have just pulled up. I told her her tone was rude and condescending and I didnt appreciate it and would be sure to say something to corporate I called back to get the names of the drive thru person and the manager and come to find out the person who told me she was the manager, was actually the drive thru person. I asked if she was the actual manager as she had stated previously, and she said she was the shift lead. I aksed if her superior was there and she hung up on me.
Glad to see that Taco Cabana is employing such rude, inconsiderate, dishonest people. My sons and I eat there about twice a week, and as far as I am concerned, I will never return t this location, and the chances of me going to ANY Taco Cabana again is about slim to none.
I have never been more agitated and insulted after a visit to a eating establishmenet, ESPECIALLY after I called to address the issue and was met by a lying employee. Taco Cabana should be highly embarrassed that this person represents your company, especially if she is the "Manager" as she claimed.

Taco Cabana accuracy & customer service

I went through the drive thru Monday evening. I made sure to tell the guy who took my order that I wanted double rice instead of the beans and papas that my meal typically comes with. At the window, I asked the gal for extra salsa. She rolled her eyes at me and threw it in the bag. Okay. . . that pissed me off, but I was willing to let it slide. After all, she works fast food and was obviously unhappy. But then I got home and found that my order was wrong. I didn't get my double rice. I didn't get any sides at all. I called the store and the girl that answered (Irma) barely spoke English. She argued with me and told me that my plate didn't come with any sides. Really?! Then she hung up on me. I called back and talked with a manager, Jose. He was almost as bad as Irma, but he did at least speak English. In the end, nothing was done. He didn't even offer an apology. I sincerely doubt I'll revisit this location.

Taco Cabana tortilla soup burned my daughter due to inadequate lids

On January 14, 2011 my mother purchased Tortilla Soup for my daughter. Upon arriving home, my daughter took the soup out of the bag and when she did it spilled on her stomach, thighs, and groin area. Unfortunately at the expense of my daughter I experienced not only the inadequacy of Taco Cabana's lids for the tortilla soup, but also the inadequacy of their Corporate Office and Customer Service.
I called Taco Cabana's Corporate office to inform them of the incident. I mentioned that on previous occasions I had brought it to the store's attention that the lids used to contain their tortilla soup were improper due to the heat causing the THIN plastic lid to split, shrink and lose its conformity. Prior to this incident the only thing damaged was my car floorboard or kitchen floor, however, this time it was a child that was burned. I also informed them that I was NOT trying to monetary gains or sue them, just inform them before someone else such as an infant or elderly person was burned which could be more detrimental.
For a week I played "pass the buck" between Taco Cabana's Customer Service and Liberty Mutual. Nothing was accomplished.
Now almost a month later, my daughter STILL has a scar, Taco Cabana STILL uses the same inadequate lids. When I talked to them this morning I was told that they were going to send me coupons---wow!
I once again informed them that my purpose was to alert Taco Cabana to the dangers of their soup container and unfortunately my request fell on selective deaf ears. I tried to emphasize that had my intentions been to sue Taco Cabana or let the media know about this, sadly someone may take my request seriously. Before I could even finish my statement, the "professional" in Taco Cabana's Risk Management Dept. "unprofessionally" told me that if I was "threatening" them I should watch what I said. At that point, I lost the little respect I had left for Taco Cabana. Here's some food for thought---if a child gets burned isn't it possible he/she may be investigated for child abuse/neglect? So should Taco Cabana be investigated for customer abuse/neglect?

Taco Cabana food poisining

Stopped in at Taco Cabana In a hurry got Cabana bowl -beef-.Next day
I got diahrea .Was not to bad but got worse thought it should run its
course in couple days.Wrong lasted 8 days. Next day I took it easy.
Then the following day my right foot swelled up.I thought maybe
I had unknowingly sprained it . Couple days later left foot swelled up.
Had to get crutches and lift myself with just arms .Then my shoulder
got strained >I have been fighting this for almost 3 months.Beware
of Taco Cabana food could be bad for your health.

Taco Cabana s* employee bad customer service

I received an email from taco cabana, i'm in their email list, the email had a coupon for $5.00 of the fajitas to go box, well before i ordered i told the employee i have a coupon, he looked at the coupon and said No, i can't take this this is not real, what in the world okay maybe he's not understanding me, i told listen i received this email coupon and printed it out this is it, he continued to say repeatly like a robot, no i can't take this, this is not good no, i mean this man was talking to me like if i was trying to commit fraud or something infront of a house full of customers just starring at me, so embarassing, i was so mad, i wasn't going to call the manager and complaint to him for what we as a consumer no thats not how it works i was going to contact a bigger person in the industry, maybe regional mgr.Because then something would have been done, but this idiot got super lucky my computer broke down the next day and by the time i got it fixed was a week and a half, i mean i memorized his name and what he looked like, i don't think they take me seriously after almost 2 wks, here's a tip TO ALL MY FELLOW PEOPLE THAT HAVE COME THROUGH REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, IF U WANT TO COMPLAINT AND ACTUALLY MAKE THAT INDIVIDUAL PAY FOR HIS BAD TREATMENT TOWARD U THE CUSTOMER, COMPLAINT TO A HIGHER BRANCH IN THE COMPANY, IF U COMPLAINT TO THE MGR, HE'LL ACT LIKE HE CARES, ONCE U LEAVE BOTH THE EMPLOYEE AND HIM WOULD LAUGH AT U, I MEAN NO ONE ELSE IS GOING TO FIND OUT, THE MGR ISN'T GOING TO LET HIS BOSS KNOW.

Taco Cabana ruined my interior

I went thru this store's drive thru where I ordered 2 bowls of Chicken Tortilla Soups to go. The man handed my food and I left. I placed the bag in the floor next to my leg and held it with one hand becuase I had just bought my brand new car. When I got home and pulled into the garage I picked the bag up and as soon as I got it right infront of me the bottom of the bag fell out and burned my legs and hands as well as soup went all over the interior of my car. The lid on the cup of soup was cut or broken and they placed a thin piece of tin foil over it, then placed the other bowl on top of it. So as you could imagine, as soon as it started to be transported it started leaking down the side of the bowl into the bottom of the bag. I called the manager and she said that the food was not packaged correctly becuase it should have been placed into a plastic bag. She told me that she was going to get a claim over the their risk managment team to have my car cleaned and told me not to worry. Now, the company will not return my calls and the insurance company is stating that they are not going to do anything becuase they were told by their CORPORATE people that were not even there that the food was packaged correctly. I asked if they reviewed the tapes on the servailance to see how it was packaged and Liberty Mutual stated that they have not and will not because they dont feel that I have not assured them that I didnt spill the soup in my car. I still have the bag and the cups that show the tear in the lid and bottom of the bag has been soaked through, so when he asked how they are not sure that I didnt turn it over, I simply siad that I do have proof, the bag is perfectly clean and white on all four sides, just the bottom is stained and torn. I guess I also formed the two blisters on my hand to so that I could get my brand new car cleaned...give me a break. They refused to watch the video and said they are not doing anything. They are nothing but liars and cowards and If I can find an attorney is willing to sue them than I am going to.

Taco Cabana got fired for no reason

Goodmorning, who ever is reading this! Ive been working for Taco Cabana company Going for 5 yrs. I'm an Employee and a good worker there until i got fired for not doing a GM (General Manager) job. I loved working there at a fast food Restaurant it was fun when we had rushes. Well, Back to the storie we had almost 4 new Gm since ive been working there yeah they were cool and had no problems. My job was always to clean and restock for the next shift. Well the new GM that just started Taco Cabana not even 2 weeks ago had no experienced never worked there ever in his life just applied for the position as A GM (yeah that's dumb). And i for 4 goin on 5 years of experienced i knew how to do everything that any Manager can do. The last GM moved to another store but before he left he told me just to help him out with the Inventory till he knows how things go in the store me as a nice guy said "yes". There was a Taco Cabana meeting not far from where I stayed. I was not certified and not schedule to go to that meeting but i was asked if i can go so i can meet him! I went the next day to the meeting and the DL (district Leader) was there with the new GM for our store. The first thing the DL told the GM about me was ( He is a good guy verything is clean stock and his job done and you will never have any problems with him) I with a smile. Well yeah i was there till the meeting was over I went straight home to get some rest cause I worked only over nights (Graveyards).Well I went to work that night and he showed up he told me if i can help him with the inventory so I left my other crew by them self so i can help the GM. It was already 1 Weeks later he told me (You think you can do the inventory for me cause i have to do some things on the computer I was nice to say Yes?) Well guess what he got use to me doing the Inventory everyday. Third week came by it was on a wedsday going on Thursday Morning. I was able to do the inventory cause i had to catch up on my cleaning and plus we had alot of call in orders. The GM got there 3 hours before inventory supposed to be posted 30 min till 7 he asked me did you do inventory I replied back telling him no I cant today im busy He called the DL and told him I was NOt following his directions and that he was going to let me go. I worked Thursday night going on Friday Morning (Shift 11:oo pm to 7:00am) the Gm shows up at 4:30am and not talks to me i didnt mind? So I kept doing my job and I also did inventory for him still NO replied from him. Well it was about to be 7:00am till he told me I need to let you go ( fired) I asked why (He said i was aked to do something and i did not follow his Directions) I was k let me call my DL he picked and i told him i was getting fired by my GM and my DL said well you refuse to follow orders so we are going to let you go? I was mad cause that job was not mine I called Cooperate they defended the GM wich that was not right.

Taco Cabana unsanitary kitchen practices

April 17, 2009

I went through the drive through and as I was waiting, I watched how the kitchen workers were preparing food. A Mexican girl had a plastic glove on her right hand. Picked up a rag and wiped off the counter area. Used the same hand to pick up a tortilla then stuck that same hand in the lettuce, etc. When I received my order, I went inside to talk to the manager. I explained what I had observed and said it wasn't right and they needed to use sanitary practices. The manager apologized. Then she said, "Do you speak Spanish?" I replied I spoke some Spanish. She said, "You need to tell her - she doesn't speak any English." I was appalled and said, "I'm in the United States - I don't need to speak Spanish to anyone!" Again she asked me to talk to her in Spanish. How was she taught about sanitary practices in food preparation? Really not happy about this. A lot of illegals work in food prep and that's a scary thing.

Taco Cabana cracked tooth &liars&

June 0f 2006 my husband and I went in to Taco Cabana on I.H 35 and Rittaman Rd. In San Antonio Texas. Well me and husband ordered are food and ate in my husband ordered a quesadilla and I had enchilladas, well any ways we started eating our food I bit into my food and i felt this stabbing pain. I spit my food out into my plate my tooth came out with it (OMG!) I started to panic, my husband says, " calm down hunny". I got up from my chair went to the register and asked for the manager, she didnt know what to do she called the store manager. We spoke to the store manager, my husband wanted to call the police "The store manger" begged us, I say begged us not to call the police she told me that I would be taken care of it, so we didnt. Well I went to the dentist right away omg! very pricey. Well T.C.'s insurance Liberty Mutual called me and sent out there field investagator two weeks later they denied my case. I was soooooooo upset. I called the store manger who promised me that I would be taken care of. I didnt mention before that I had kept all mt evidence tooth and all and names and numbers of workers and 3 customers that were there, and my original reciept. I had to take them to court it took two tears we went to court july 2008, and it was hell and they had like 8 people for there defense I had 3. They all lied the store manger said she "NEVER" seen nor talked to me. Ok I magically had her phone number ok, and all the staff ( like I was CIA) lol.. Well I never got compinsated and all I can say that all I can say is I HAS ALL MY EVIDENCE! and they had the "JUDGE" golf buddy... thats what happend to me politics never end neither do scammers and cons which they are... Sincerly, Discriminated

What did you bite into? Also why would you call the police? I'm sure they'd have better things to do.

The right thing was done by the restaurant to send it to their insurance company. That's what they pay money for

Taco Cabana food handeling

I went through the drive thru this morning (10/8/2008) and ordered two breakfast tacos with cheese. When I pulled up to the window, I could see the tortillas and filling sitting on the counter without the shredded cheese. The employee taking the orders with the headset looked at them, then reached into the cheese bin BARE HANDED, put the cheese on the tacos, wrapped them up and in the bag they went. I was abosolutely disgusted because I had just witnessed him touching the very grimey computer screen AND his headset ON his head with the same hands that went into the cheese. I pointed out the fact he had no gloves on and I didn't want them. With NO apology, he turned to another employee and had her fix 2 more. Well with tongs this time, she put the cheese on two new tacos! HELLO! It was the same cheese bin this guys dirty hands were JUST in! ABSOLUTELY UNSANITARY! When I saw how they just didn't care and didn't get it - I just drove off and let them waste their 4 tacos! I'll never eat there again! The new Taco Cabana at 635/Beltline in Irving TX. ICK!

Taco Cabana maggots in food

TACO CABANA ON THE EAST FREEWAY IN EAST HOUSTON ON 9-22-08 SERVED ME AND MY PREGNANT GIRLFRIEND MAGGOTS IN OUR FOOD . MANAGEMENT WAS SO NEGATIVE AND DID NOT CARE. AVOID ALL TACO CABANA'S ALL THEY CARE IS ABOUT THERE BUSINESS. I AM SUEING THEM AS WE SPEAK. THEY WILL PAY FOR THE DAMAGES DONE.

I ordered a beef fajita taco this am and the meat was
burnt and dry and cold...This is not right! Taco Cabana On MOntrose Blvd.

Taco Cabana horrible, horrible, horrible customer service

I went to eat at Taco Cabana's Fuqua location last night with my husband at 12:45AM. I ordered my meal and a margarita. The server walked off and came back to say they (the margaritas) were closed. (Others were having margaritas by the way...) I looked at the machine clearly working, and the lady looked at me very rudely and slammed the off button on the machine. So, I said ok, I'll have a beer. Then she responded that they too were closed. I asked why and she responded that Taco was not a restaurant that had to serve me. I was very offended and surprised by the treatment that I received for no reason what so ever. So, I asked if I could speak with the manager and she said that she was the manager with a huge smirk on her face. At this point I was getting angry, so I decided it was not worth it and responded by saying that I was not going to spend y money or eat at Taco Cabana then and left abruptly. Once in my car, I thought to myself that I should have gotten her name, so I went in and asked her name. I also explained that I would be filing a report with Taco Cabana's corporate office. As I was leaving she was yelling at me and making fun of me to other customers in the line. This is the worst treatment that I have ever received in my life. I will admit that I did lower myself to her level by calling her a bad name, and I'm not proud of that. But in my defense, I did absolutely nothing to deserve the way I was treated. I was not intoxicated, nor was I inappropriate in any way before she refused to serve me. Moreover, even if she had had someone else before us or had some kind of bad experience, she should not have taken it out on us. I honestly do not think this lady named "Maria" ws actually the manager, at least I certainnly hope not. I would hope that Taco Cabana would have higher standards than to have management of this quality (or lack of it for that matter!). Anyway, that's what happened to us...I strong suggest avoiding this location unless you want to subject yourself to abusive and horrible treatment.

iwas at taco cabana had to wait thirty minutes before iwas served. adderss is 5242 norty lamar store no20351.i seen everyone being served before iwas. after ihad beenthere. seem to me they never put the order in or gave to some else. not very good custer service.

I had a problem with my food on monday April 20, i order some barbacoa burritos the meat was spoil and smell really bad and the taste was horrible!. So i call the store and stead of getting any apology the lady how answer my call Samanta "manager" try to talk with me but was really hard to understand what she was saying so she started speakimg spanish with someone else in the background, I told her to let me speak to a general manager so Berni came to the phone with a attitude he didn't even let me finish telling him ehat happen whe he ask when and with what I pay the order, so when I finish taking to him I call thr headquarters the lady how answer my call said someone will return my call, so guess what no one habe return my call yet. So i walking to the store bringing evethung back, Berni the manager said i return you money to you card i said thank you and i explain him what happen and I told him the my husband was ub the hospital for something he eat friday night and now make me wander if something he eat at the taco cabana in plano tx what got him sick and hes answer was people get sick with infecction because they dont wash they hands! What kind a answer is that from a manager to a costumer.
Really disappointed in the quality of food and a really bad costumer service the taco cabana management provide.

I agree with the above client concerning management attitude towards customers is sometimes out of place., At the location of Stone Oak in San Antonio Texas they also have a manager that his name is Dave or David but he also has a lousy attitude towards customers . He even called me and my friend illegal wetbacks after we visited that store many times after work. But Idont think we will continue to patronize Taco Cabana and hope many people write their true opinions of what goes on at local Taco Cabana stores.

Upset Customers because of Managers attitude and stupid smart [censor] smiles they make with their faces giving you the 800 number to report them. I think this web can carry the message louder
