Straight Talk Wireless activation

Bought 2 Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy S5 from Walmart. One phone activated without any problems but the other phone would not activate. Waited 24 hours as indicated by their website, where I periodically powered the new phone off and on again. Finally called their customer service only to be told that I should wait 1 to 2 business days for the activation to go through. I started this on Saturday so now I have to wait until Tuesday before calling again if phone does not activate. 4 days is a long time to wait for cell phone activation.

Straight Talk Wireless I bought a renewal card for my phone and it was not applied right.

I bought a renewal card Nov 18 because my data had slower down. I told the lady this and she said no problem. She had to cut my service off monetary to do that. My service is the same slow data. My account don't show my card has been added but when I call y'all you say my service ends Dec 18 which it should but I'm not getting my data now. I can't download. The people at your office were rude and k kept saying I had to call from another phone with no explanation why. I'm in the woods and I don't have two phones. Michael Flynt

Straight Talk Wireless my zte froze up, so they warrantied it but gave me a different phone number when they transfered my service

last tuesday my zte froze up, so i called straight talk and had it warrantied. wednesday i found my old straighttalk flip phone and called to have my number and service transferred to flip phone until i received my warranty phone. when they transferred it, i was given a different phone number. so since then i have called atleast a dozen times to get it all straightened out .i still have 16 days of unlimited service left, but now they have some how shut all my service down, and i can't even make any calls on my flip phone or new warranty phone .with all the reviews i've seen about them, how are they still a phone company. my original phone number was my roadside assistance business number, so there that goes. will be talking with my legal advisor about what steps we can take in this matter.my family, and employees will all be getting new phones through a different company. should have stuck with my verizon contract phone.

Straight Talk Wireless lg sunrise

I have bought my LG sunrise from straight talk 2 month ago on 11 of September 2015. and just when I want to buy a refill pack. out of the blue I have bought my LG sunrise from straight talk 2 month ago on 11 of September 2015. and just when I want to buy a refill pack. out of the blue the phone restarts and got stuck on LG screen. hard soft reset or thrue USB in download mode. was not possible. this 4 weeks from buying the phone. after I called the terrible costume service. j will sad. I will send you a new one with a return label in the box. so I asked him to confirm. if I had to send them phone back first. and then get a replaced one. noooo he sad I'll send you the phone with the return label in the box. so after giving him the shipping address I got a email from them with a FedEx label. with a order number. after looking at it. it seemed that I was the sender to them. so a red light went off told my wife that I need to wait for a fedex label. That fed ex had to send me to my mailbox. I sad he is lying thrue his teeth. so I was waiting 3 to 5 work days waiting for a phone I never have got the shipping label in my mailbox. neither the phone . 2 weeks later I called them back. logged into my account. was asking me the phone number. type it in the box its deactivated and the number did not match. so I get costume service on the cell phone asking me if I was calling for this number I sad no. and gave her the number of my broken phone. she sad in a rude broken English way. its deactivated. I sad its about the replacement of the phone. she sad did you send the phone back to us?. So I told her the story J will told to me. she got mad and sad that's not how it works. I sad that I have asked him if I should send the phone first and then get a replaced on. but his promise was putting the return label in the box. So I sad that I got a no phone. she sad oooh I am sorry but you need to ship the phone back first before we replace it. Straight Talk Wireless android phone and services

I bought the LG Sunrise on September 27, 2015 which means I have only had it a month. Within that month my phone has frozen I don't know how many times, I have barely been receiving phone calls or text messages. I will be in the middle of a conversation and the phone will just hang up, the phone will randomly say services disabled. I refuse to pay $50 a month for a phone that works when it wants to. I am pregnant and needed this phone for my doctors appointments but they can't even get a hold of me because the phone works when it wants to! I am very dissatisfied. I would rather be without a phone then to continue to use this one!

Straight Talk Wireless unauthorized credit card charge

Used my card to add minutes to my daughters phone was charged twice called straight talk they tell me i was only charged once the lady fom the bank was on the phone with me when i was talking to them asked to speak to a supervisor then was again told by the supervisor that i was not charged at all when i asked her how my daughters phone was working she told me she did not know i asked to talked to the next person in charge was told their wasn't one so i said clearly you do not run the company then she told me i could only reach a higher up person by mail or email are you kidding me worse customer service ever

Straight Talk Wireless high speed internet message failure

My high speed I nterney is used up within the first two weeks I never use the internet except for email and my messages r constantly calling my calls r dropped and picture messages never come in...I'm so sick of being rip off I want something done ASAP and I except something to be done ASAP I pay my bill monthly the least u guys can do is make sure that what I pay for works correctly or refund my service something

Straight Talk Wireless cell phone

yesterday 9/15/15 Straight Talk wiped my husbands new $350 S4 phone out even erased his sim card! i was on the phone with them almost 4 hours getting the run around until finally a so called supervisor came to the phone and admitted to it, technical mishaps on their end!? so all she could do is send him a new sim card which would take a few days to get by mail. And she would compensate the unused minutes My reply was" now you had better do better than that and give him at least a months worth of free minutes bc because of their mishap?! he will not have a phone for days!" i am beside myself bc i talked him into going from a Verizon plan to straight talk just a month ago and it took a whole lot of convincing too! ...so his new phone is set up for straight talk and can't afford a new phone with a new company now. i have used them for 3 years no problem until this! Which in my opinion is a severe one.. i just hope it hasn't or doesn't happen to anyone else and by the way i have worked in customer service for years and was always taught to be extremely apologetic to unsatisfied customers and to do everything possible to make things right. Boy, not Straight Talk! now i am wondering if and when they will send another sim card and if they do, will it even work?!

one day i woke up and had no more service, after few hrs playing with my phone i could finally make a call, after talking to straight talk they said i needed an extra phone so they can fix my service.later that day my phone now says " no sim card" i put different sim card in and its fine.they [censored]ed up first my service and now im stranded even without sim card.tomorrow i will have to borrow a phone to call them again.meanwhile i prepare myself for a pile of bull crap

Drop calls all the time, got a extended warranty ..what a joke...phone dropped, cracked screen, called and said they would send phone, oh hell no they don't, they want you to send it back before they send you a new one...so what are we suppose to do? No phone for who knows how long!

Straight Talk Wireless home phone service is garbage

Yes, it's cheap, but it's also absolutely f — king unreliable!

The call quality goes in and out from decent to garbled junk and calls are dropped frequently despite having a constant strong signal.

In my case, when someone ends a call, it's followed by an annoyingly loud busy signal. Even the voice mail records it when someone leaves a message.

Support is usually overseas and absolutely useless! I spent a couple of hours back and forth on the busy signal glitch before they finally decided to replace the home phone device. But I would have to send back the cheap worthless piece of sh — t before they would send a new one to me, which obviously means i'll be without service for days!

You might be tempted by the price but it might not be worth the headaches if there's a problem. It certainly wasn't worth it for me.

Straight Talk Wireless phone customer services a joke

Bought a new samsung phone on [protected] it lasted until 7/1/2015 an the ram went out had some videos on it that i lost that can never be replaced just took them of my granddaughter so i took it to a straight talk center to be told had to send it to send it back so then i call walmart sense i bought it at walmart no had to then call straight talk so i did an got everything in works to return . In the mean time had to go buy another phone at walmart lg this time like on 7 /4/2015 it lasted 2 weeks an it just wenrt blank an could not turn it on or off called in an got it ready to return when the lady tryed to send this threw my email when i ask her to send it fedx which she messed it up so had to go back to a my phone i had fort over a year just could not talk on it but was able to text. Got my samsung back added air time an call in to get everything turn on an transfer to samsung which the person i talk to mess not 1 but 2 sim cards up so here i am today 8/27/2015 waiting on a sim card which i was told 8/18 2015 it would be here in 3 days not called back an they messed my address up an now i have to wait more time and it should of been here today still not

I have had persistent problems with my phone since purchase in October of 2015...I have called several times...chatted several times...tried the chat listed above...DID NOT WORK. I have never heard of having to pay for shipping of a defective product...In my past experience with defective products the company sends you a replacement and shipping label to send back the product that is defective. I have to say that this companies customer service (I have asked to be connected to someone in the united states numerous times and have been shipped to the Philippians but never been connected to anyone in the states) I have asked to be connected to a manager, and have been put on perpetual hold or been disconnected. What I am asking is not an unreasonable request...I need the phone...as of right now I am able to receive calls when it wants to let me...being unemployed I need the phone to receive calls fro prospective employers...I cannot be a day without the phone...but yet they ask me to send the phone in at my expense and wait for a new phone...and by the way I have been run around on the numerous issues with this company...waiting days for new sim cards...and now no screen...wow my confidence that this would be handled in a timely manner is not very high. Whatever happened to the days of the customer is right and do anything to have a satisfied customer...This customer service and this company are very very poor!

August 2015 - Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy S3. It is a 16GB phone with only about 8GB used. I bought Brand New for about $450 plus sales tax at Walmart. It worked perfectly for 2 years and 2 months. Then, the 2nd week of August it won't work with any Data at my son's school in zip code 47396. It had worked in zip code 47396 for about 2 years and 2 months. My Mom was in a nursing home in zip code 47396. My brother's house was in zip code 47396 and my son's school was in zip code 47396. I was told by many CSR's that I broke it. After emailing a complaint to "Corporate Walmart" and telephoning "Corporate Walmart, " then, someone from Straight Talk called me and offered me a replacement phone. I was told that I would get a return shipping box which did not happen. I called back 4 days later and they said it was sent in an email. I found email on [protected]. My son copied all my information off of my cell and, then, I did a factory reset. I have a 2nd straight Talk phone and asked them to put rest of Unlimited 30 day Card on 2nd phone. A real CSR did...But, it only lasted August 26 to August 29, 2015. Then on, August 30, 2015 the transferred days from my 30 day card that were put onto the 2nd phone went "No Service.". Now, 2nd phone stopped working, too. Now, they tell me the 2nd phone has a defective SIM Card. I am still waiting on my 1st phone to be mailed back.. They promised 2 day Ground Shipping and they don't offer me a Tracking Number. I am unhappy in Indiana in zip code 47302 and 47396. Muncie and Yorktown, Indiana. One last email to Walmart Corporate and then, I am calling the FCC. Straight Talk does a bait and switch.

Straight Talk Wireless extremely poor customer service

I bought a zte rapido cell phone which proved to be defective. I called customer support numerous times and got the same lies every time. They told me I would receive a return package within three to five business days. Obviously they can't count. I finally called Walmart corp and filed a complaint. Straight Talk contacted me same day and I received my return package the next day. Great right! Wrong! I immediately returned my defective phone the same day. They received it the following day. I know because I tracked it! Guess what! they still can't count. They were suppose to send me a new phone as soon as they received my defective one. Guess I will have to contact Walmart again to get my replace phone! So customers be ware of Straight Talk. They are just a bunch of liers. They WILL NOT stand behind their defective products!

I too have had many issues with my phone, but I found this email address to the company and they fixed my problem right away. Some problems may require a little more time to fix but the people at this address are very good. Try it. The email address is ST.CorpResolutionTeam@straighttalk.com. Also give them your name and account cell phone or serial number.

Straight Talk Wireless warranty/replacement phone

Just filed a complaint with the BBB against Straight Talk phone company. MY 3 month old cell phone went out in the first week of june. We have the extended warranty and have been fighting with them ever since. They said a new phone was being shipped and never did. Then they told us on june 22 that fed ex would bring a box to us no later than aug 2 so i can ship my old phone back first and then they will send a new phone. . Well guess what. the box never arrived and when we checked the tracking number they gave us a fake tracking number AGAIN! Weve called 8 times today alone trying to resolve this. Time to switch companies after I get my new phone. Sad thing is I've been with them for at least 8 years.

My problem is I've had a phone TWO days that I had my service turned on with, in other words my existing plan rolled onto the new phone. Two different reps told me because I didn't purchase a new plan it couldn't be replaced, fixed or refunded. They didn't seem to comprehend a manufacturer's warranty has nothing to do with the plan. Plus they said there was no way to send me to a supervisor.

Straight Talk Wireless illegible numbers on service pin

08/02/2015 I purchased a Straight Talk $45 Unlimited phone card and two of the numbers on the service PIN are illegible. I contacted Straight Talk Customer Support and after over an hour on the phone nothing was solved. They refuse to refund me and say that my card has already been used after being given the underlined bar code number. Wal-Mart, where I purchased the card will not do anything because the card has been scratched off.
I still have the receipt of the purchase.
I want a full refund.

I used to have a lot of issue with my phone. I looked online for a solution since Straight Talk's customer service is poor and bad. I found this contact information that helped me a lot. Straight Talk Wireless false advertising

Straight talk has lied about the unlimited internet usage for $45.00 per month. I have had phone service with them since 2009. I have never received a text message from 2009 through 2013 saying that I have used all my high speed data.in 2014 I started receiving text messages from them saying that I have used all my high speed data. From 2009 through 2013 I used the same internet usage that I use now. (Nothing i'm doing different). I was never notified of any changes that may have taken place according. This is unacceptable and straight talk should be held accountable for false advertisement. They do not tell you in the advertisements or upon activation of your phone that your data will be reduced.

I was about to give up on my phone until I found this email address for Straight Talk and they actually fixed all my problems. Now, I am glad I decided to give it another try. I have had straight talk since November 6th 2015 I had received a text saying I had used up my five gigs of data within 12 days. And they slowed my data down, I called them to figure out why their app says differently. They told me they can't do anything since my phone was already past the 5 gigs of data. One lady said she will reset my data and they would credit me for 5 gigs. So I waited a half hour and it didn't reset, so I called them back and the man said that the lady lied just to get me off the phone and they have no authority so do anything. So I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor, and he told me the computer has no record of sending a text nor my data being slowed down. So again I said I wanted to speak to his supervisor. They also told me the lady I first spoke to lied to me and again they can't do anything. And that the computer says I just used up my five gigs today so there's nothing they can do. He also told me to hold on so he can find the lady who said that she would reset my data. And after about 10 minutes of being on hold he just hangs up on me. So again I call and they still say they can't do anything because they have no authority. So the lady transfers me again and the next lady said yes they can reset it but the others just didn't want to. And she told me to wait 2 hours and it would be fixed. So i waited and nothing. So call back and they transfer me to track phone technical support and they tell me they can't do anything and the people that said they could fix it just lied and they can't do anything. And they also admit they did slow my data down because I was getting close to my 5 gig limit. So they slowed it down. She told me that they slow everyone down when they get close to their limit. And then they will have internet speeds of 64kbps. Even though the website, app, and the refill cards say first five gigs of data high speeds then 2g after that. She continually argued with e about the data limitations. She kept telling me it doesn't say that anywhere. And they aren't going to do anything about it. She even refused to transfer me to her supervisor. I had never been treated so wrongfully in y life! What kind of customer service tells u that that their other employee's just lie to get u off the phone? And what kind of company has such horrible technical support? There's other words to explain the service I received but I don't think those words be appropriate. Even though they would best describe the service I received. Is there anyone out there who can help?

Straight Talk Wireless customer service is terrible and unknowledgeable

I have never in my life dealt with a customer service like this in my life. I had net 10 forever and just switched to straight talk in December and everytimeI have to call ccustomer service, they are foreign and you cannot understand them at all and you would think all your previous information would be in their system but they do not know sh_t! I complain but it is like they do not here you, heck they might not even know what that is! But they never apologize for your troubles, when you finish, they don't say, "is their anything else I can help you with or have a good day. It is like they can't get off phonequick enough! I am sseriously thinking about switching back to net 10, at least you can get a service card anywhere and I have never had problems with customer service! Whoever it was that commented earlier that said customer service with straight talk su_ks and they try to save money by having their call center overseas and they don't know a dang thing, was absolutely right! I just dread it. I have been trying to get my phone replaced and they finally sent it and it was a long process, had to call twice because the first time they sent a prepaid fed ex label through email and it wouldn't work, so I called and they reasked me all my info yet again! Then when fed ex delivered my box with envelope and I sent it back and finally got replacement phone and it was cracked, I had to call back. They had nerve to ask me if I dropped it and then had to deal with them sending me email and calling back and now waiting another 3-5 days.

Straight Talk Wireless over charged and won't refund

We have three phones and for at least the last year there have been four automatic deductions taken out each month for these phones. So I have been automatically deducted for a forth phone for an entire year! I have talked to 11 different people at straight talk to have this fixed. I have been told the bank has to charge the money back, the bank has to call straight talk to get it charged back, and lastly that straight talk can't fix it because they can't issue me a new credit/debit card! I have been talked to rudely, sarcastically, and hung up on. I have been told their are no supervisors to talk to... I have been told these transactions can't be stopped because I don't know the phone number or serial number for the forth phone that I do not own. I have changed my card information only to have it updated on t forth line as well without my consent. Today I have finally then in touch with a refund department to to have this issue resolved but my next step will be a lawyer.

Straight Talk Wireless this company cannot keep their lies straight

Again, I am on the phone with another idiot from Straight Talk. I was on hold for nearly an hour for a supervisor before the CSR (that's a laugh) disconnected the call. The second call, I have been on hold for over an hour waiting for a supervisor to supposedly finish a call. I think they are outside smoking weed.

A few weeks ago I was in the hospital and my service ended. When I returned home last week, I renewed my service. Big mistake. Since then, dead air kicks into all of my calls. I have to reboot the phone and then when I make the call, dead air kicks in after 10 minutes.

The lock screen kicks in and ends all of my calls. This happened on a 911 call. I was told that the lock screen is supposed to end the calls if one has been on the phone too long.

WTF? Excuse me? What was that advertisement of unlimited talk, text and data. As far as text is concerned. I cannot text. Too many connection problems. It took me 2 days to have a text go through. I sent one text and it multiplied to the recipient to the point, she called and complained about me over texting her.

When I make a call it takes two to three minutes before a call is dialed and connected and it locks up the phone. I have to reboot the phone and wait for that scanning media card before I can make a call. There was a fire in my apartment building and I cannot rely on Straight Talk to have that call go through. That would be too much like right.

I was told that I would have to return the phone and wait up to 10 days before I receive my replacement phone. Now mind you that I paid for the service for 30 days and I will be short on my paid service.

Did I mention that I had surgery and I need a phone for emergency purposes? I was told to borrow someone's phone or go search for a payphone. Excuse me? Does the idiots at Straight Talk know that other people work and that payphones are not available. I was also told to use a older straight talk phone. I do not have another Straight Talk phone. I sent them back.

I have contacted an attorney about filing a lawsuit against this company. There is one about the fraudulent unlimited service and the slowing down of the data speed. Since I reactivated my phone, it is working way below 3G, let's just say it is working at 300 baud dial up modem speed.

I cannot get my emails. I have to reboot the phone in order to get the emails. I cannot keep bothering my neighbors and jeopardizing my health due to unethical policies and negative training.

THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF INTELLIGENT LIFE AT STRAIGHT TALK. Customer service is very poor, there's no such thing as common sense. The FCC should step in and make Straight Talk get their act together or go out of business.

I did not have this problem of being on two phones to solve a problem when I was with AT&T, Verizon or Sprint.

I bought a hawaii ascend y for 160.00. I used it for 2 months and it stopped working. I sent it back to the on June 10, 2013 and still waiting for them to send me a replacement. I called them 15 times and just keep getting a run around. They even sent me a bogus tracking number. This company is a big scam.

Straight talk has debited money from my account three months in a row and are claiming that they did not take money from my account. I have contacted them repeatedly about this issue and they refuse to help me . I. Need to know how I can get my money back this is ridiculous!

I tried to contact straight talk via the internet in regards to calling canada from the states. I was then directed to a site that could help me for about $60 dollars. I could not get a straight answer immediately as to how to complete my call.

Straight talk is the worst provider. I talked to several techs to activate phone.I checked the zip code before I ordered the phone. The phone that I purchased works only on verizon towers and could not get any service. It takes up to 30 days to refund your money.

Straight Talk Wireless failure to disclose material info on packaging or ads

I bought an introductory package, then added three months service, for a total of four months.
After establishing service, I discovered you do not allow phones to be used as a WiFi hot spot. This was not disclosed in any of your literature. I quickly moved service back to AT&T. So, I’m not using your service.
Please make sure the three month extension is cancelled. Do I get a partial refund on the introductory 30 days?

If you purchased the plan with the intent to use the phone as a HOT SPOT then why didn't you ask if that could be done?

In addition, if it says in the contract that you can NOT tether other items to the phone then what made you think you could?

Straight Talk Wireless phone activations byop program

Straight Talk Wireless has some problems with their customer service. I tried to activate a phone for my wife and have spent over six hours trying to troubleshoot why it cannot call out. The problem here is that nobody in India wants to help me. They just keep saying something like thats not possible, and then transfer me to a different person. At some point the call is dropped, and I have to call back all over again. Their computer will not let you ask for a representative. If you dont do what it says, it will end the call for you, just like the live straight talk people. I realize that AT&T and Sprint are lacking in this area also. Right now they look good.

I had problems on my phone of not able to make and receive calls and the people at this email address helped me fix my concern. I know that the email is going to the company themselves but the people handling these emails are very good. Give it a try. The email address is ST.CorpResolutionTeam@straighttalk.com. Bought a Nokia 6790 phone for $214.99 from Straight Talk on Aug.20, 2011. Returned the phone because it did not pair with my car hands free link blue tooth. Straight talk denied receipt of the phone and did not credit my account. Stole my money.

This will be quick and to the point. The customer service needs to re-enter training for another 20 yrs. Very disappointed! If smart stay away. I received my phone today and the battery was not charging properly so I called customer service and they could care less. I just feel if I spent my money purchasing your products you would at least have the decency to resolve my issue. Totally not happy!

All i keep getting is the run around from this company. They tried to tell me because i ordered so many phones i can not order another one. Screw them if i am paying money out of my pocket what does it matter to me if i do or if i don't. The customer svc is really bad and it's not worth anyone's time. Mr. Randall Richard's was very rude to me and trying to tell me bogus stuff. I will never deal with them again
