Jason was very helpful in resolving the issues I called about. The only issue is that I asked if I needed to do anything for my case. I was told no, but after searching my email I discovered I needed to complete a finger print record. I was behind on my payment and nothing had been done on my case for a while so I stopped checking my account. It's my responsibility to know what I have to do, and I will continue to check on my requirements at least a few times a week. I don't blame Jason for my lack of information, but I do feel its important to ensure he and other representatives are provided information to give to clients if they ask. Again, this was not his fault, it is mine for not staying up to date. I will take care of my fingerprints by tomorrow. I desperately need my case completed by October because I will be kicked out of my doctoral program when I apply for practicum if my case isn't expunged. The Fingerprints are needed for my Arizona case, and although I really need this completed by then, the most important one is the Indiana one. I'm a little confused why there has been no progress on it - I even sent all court records from my attorney that I utilized in that case.

I learned about Record Gone 12 years ago (2007). What attracted me was the price and the guarantee to expunge or your money back. I checked with other attorneys before deciding on Record Gone and realized that other attorneys were charging retainers from $1000 to $5000 with no guarantee. What !...was my exact response and realized I could loose my money with an attorney outside of Record Gone saying, "sorry, we tried, but the expungement was denied." How do I know they really tried or fought for my expungement, I am not there and I loose thousands. Not with Record Gone, it was a no brainer to go with Record Gone with a guarantee that if they can not get my case expunged then I will get my money back less the court costs. I had a total of seven cases from when I was younger...30 years ago. Two felonies and Five misdemeanors that I let Record Gone proceed with the expungement. Once again, I had nothing to loose with Record Gone, but much to gain to get the past off my back. I qualified for all my expungements according to California Penal Code. The process working with Record Gone was easy. They guided me, answered all my questions...trust me many questions through the document process prior to submitting to the courts. All my cases were expunged, but had trouble with one misdemeanor for an auto incident where the court denied my request for expungement. I was not worried, because of the Record Gone guarantee, I knew they would go back to court for me and they did writing another legal brief and getting this misdemeanor expunged. That was hard to understand how Record Gone was able to get my felonies expunged first time with no issues, but the courts denied the misdemeanor...go figure. This is an internet conveyor belt, not like hiring an attorney who wants to speak to you to learn about you in order to speak to your character when the judge asks. As a matter of fact, I was never allowed to speak to the attorney that appeared in court on my behalf and was literally told that if I wanted to know what exactly was said in court, I could request the transcript from the court. Why? Because my attorney and team did not appear. They sub-contracted the actual appearance to another attorney who knew nothing about me and when the judge mentioned some concerns regarding one of the counts, she had no rebuttal as we never spoke.

Hire an attorney who will represent you as an attorney should. This is an important enough task that the extra few dollars are worth it.

I initially signed up for Record Gone subjected to a sequence of inquiries in the course of the questionnaire and survey process, aimed at ascertaining the viability of effectuating the sealing of my record. I paid upfront and today I received an email stating this, "I am reaching out to you today in order to inform you that upon completion of case research and eligibility verification for your case, it has been determined that there will need to have been a 3-year waiting period after the completion of your sentence in order for your case to be considered eligible by the courts requirements/standards. Your case was closed on 07/31/2023, and therefore, will not be eligible until 07/31/2026. I apologize for any inconvenience this matter may cause for you.

The billing department has completed the review on your account, and the balance has been written off accordingly. There is no refund amount due.

I previously hired this company to expunge my record after realizing I was unable to purchase a firearm due to my record. I was able to get my record expunged but I still cannot purchase a firearm. I rehired the law firm to restore my firearm rights. I was told to get my fingerprints done again. My Nov. 2020 FB1 background matches my DEC. 12, 2021, Fingerprints as well. I was then told the FBI will always keep my record so How will I get my rights restored? why did you guys take my money? Why did maya pollard tell me the FBI report shows no conviction? The report I got from 2020 and the report from 2021 from the FBI are identical so where is she seeing this non-conviction? I was told to go apply for a gun and if I get denied I can reach out to her. It doesn't even look as though anyone worked on this and just took my money which I paid in full. I am afraid to apply for a gun because, it is a possibility that I may be denied AGAIN! I do not want the FBI coming to me trying to figure out why I keep applying for a gun after being denied. I'd like security going in to apply knowing that I will not be denied. I would also Papertrail showing that my case was worked on.

I hired Record Gone To clear my from Police Record from on -line Searches. Many times I have found many people think your a bad guy because you were arrested and no one wants to be your friend. I don"t know what The City of Pinellas County is even talking about. The whole record is falsafied . They changed date, events, times and photos. I hired record gone to fix the problem. I paid them $120.00 they said they cleared it. I searched my name from several sites but it still remains. I filed a federal dispute on my credit card and Metropolitan bank that issues the Nexis card still haven"t done nothing. My bank continues to charge me inquire fees just to see if my money has been returned. This company is nothing but a Big Ripoff.

This business is a scam. Before i was hiring this place to do expungement for my prevoius conviction. I was told that if they cannot get my record expenge they will issue full refund minus filing fees. It took them 7 months and finally I was suspicious because I read some bad review about this law firm. I ask for refund and they told me they can only give me 50% refund minus filing fees. This place is a crook. I want my full money back

I would like to save any one from the experience I went through. This is a terrible service.

1. I was never contacted by email or otherwise once they got my money. All correspondence was initiated by me. I had to log onto their website frequently to know the status of my case as there were no email notifications. I gave them my information twice and even provided a back up email. Was never contacted by anyone, even after my case was determined.

2. Their money back guarantee is a hoax! DO NO BELIEVE THE GUARANTEE! I was told after when I tried to follow up regarding getting my money back, that even though I paid 1400+ for record expungment services, I was actually paying for probation termination and that is not covered by their guarantee. Even though their contract says nothing of the sort.They word smith-ed their contract to purposely mislead people to think they are safe.

I followed all of their instructions to a "T" and was ensured this would work and when it didn't they stuck me with the bill anyway. Terrible customer service. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. DO NOT LET ANY ONE YOU KNOW USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE KEPT IN THE DARK AND GET NO REFUND IF THEY FAIL.

Last year I paid this company 595.00 to expunge a misdemeanor. When I hired them I told them the facts of the case. and the date of
the charge.
They assured me they could get my record expunged in 6 months. However, It is over one year later and my record is still
Record NOT Gone because of the origional date of the ticket. They should have known this when I first contacted them.
They just wanted my money.
6 months later, they told me I had to wait till March this year. I did.
I recently contacted them and they told me that their fees have gone up to 695.00 and now it takes 9 months to expunge.
So now they want an extra 100.00 bucks to take longer, to do the job they should have done right the first time.
I do not reccommed these people. Do it yourself. Google expungements and you will find the answers and
save money.

I believe recordgone is a big scam. I paid up front for their service to get them to expunge a previous infraction. It took them months to even acknowledge me and then the only thing they ever said to me after I input all my information to their website was my case was denied. Then they asked me if I would pay them more money to re-file. When I asked why my case was denied they told me they did not get any reason from the judge. They offered no proof to me that they even filed such as copies of court records which should come to the person they are representing. I believe I paid over $500 for nothing. Now I cannot even log-in to their website as a client as if I never existed. I thought they were a trusted company based on some reviews I looked up. However, after doing more research I am thinking their reviews are fraudulent because all their reviewers have left only one review and they all have the same type of name when leaving a review. If you go on to TrustLink and look you will see every reviewer leaves a 5 star review and they are all leave their name as First name and Last initial. For example from TrustLink all the names look like this (Brenda M., Reggie R., Stephen M., Dustin S.) even the people on THIS website that say recordgone is a reputable business have this same name combination very fishy if you ask me. I cannot believe that people are complaining about this website. They were exteemly helpful and got my record removed faster than other attorney's charging waaay more said was possible. The only explaination I can think of why other's are complainging is because they were either not eligible for the service or they are actually a competing company who wants them to lose business by posting false reports.

I was promised to get an expungement from this 'so-called' law firm. I have yet to hear anything back from them about my case and it's been 4 months! I find it funny how they were listing these other companies as frauds and scams, yet they are the ones charging more, and not doing anything!

Do not use RecordGone - They said on their website that they were real attorneys and the only ones that could get this done, yet nothings been done! They used to say on their site the other websites were scams - if the other sites were scams, then I guess their all working together now!

I wanted to tell as many as I could so they don't cheat anyone else outta their money.
