I am using Mitchum Fragrance Free Clear Gel at the present moment. Good results all day long. I have purchased the Mitchum Power Gel -Superior Strength - Powder Fresh. Alas, I am sorry to say that this product is not effective at all. It stays wet and sticky under my arms although a little is applied. Can somebody please explain this to me?

I love the way Mitchum's Smart Solid works with no white marks on my clothes but I have lost most of it to my bathroom floor because of the crumbling! Such a waste of money and product.

I bought the Mitchum Power Gel as it is "so amazing" - what is so amazing about it? Its expensive and does not do as it is advertised! I am unemployed and do not have money to throw around and waste! it states "Quick-drying: no trace of messy white residue on YOU or your CLOTHES" whoever wrote/did this product must be BLIND! My arm pits and clothes look so disgusting and it is so embarrassing! I am so disgusted and will never use any other Mitchum product again! I deserve a refund! Your supposed to keep your name held high instead if I was you guys I would rather never mention who you work for! I am embarrassed for you!

Stick breaks after a couple of uses. Most recent solid after 1 USE. Have used the solid for 15 years. And in the last year I have had a 100% breakage rate. Thye last various amounts of time (Never anywhere near using the stick entirely), most recently, the stick has been used 4 times and is now useless. For the previous 29 years I NEVER had that problem.

I bought a Mitchum Power Gel roll on and I must say its the most ineffective product in the Mitchum range. Firstly the lever that is used to take the roll on up or down stopped working and I can only take the roll on up but not put it back in the tub. Secondly I find that even if I use it my armpits still smell and I used to find that other Mitchum roll-ons are very good but this one is just useless I regrett wasting my money on that product.

The fact that this product breaks off and is impossible to reattach just after a few uses is extremely frustrating.
So you excuse it and throw it away thinking, it must have sat on the shelf to long or maybe it was a bad batch, ( the person in charge of that batch was just having a not so good day, I can relate to that). So know, lets bring out the second tube. And guess what happens? You guessed! It also broke apart as well. This has happened numerous times! If there is a problem with the product, let the consumer know, it is our hard earned money that keeps you in business and keeps us from not making much of a stink to the rest of the world due to the crumbling effect.

The last 4 Mitchum solid deodorants I have purchased have broken off in huge pieces. Can't return with no receipt.

I used to use the odorless gel version and one day my wife brought home this new solid called Mitchum Smart Solid Clinical Performance. She said it was all the store had and that it replaced the other version. I was not happy but I tried it and I liked that it did keep me dry. But about a week after starting to use it the top 1 1/2" to 2" of stick broke completely off the top. My wife said I probably turned it up too high and she bought another one that day. That one broke off the 2nd day of use and I only had about 1/4" of the stick above the plastic. It broke off about the same place as the first and pulled up out of the sleeve when it did so. The third stick she bought has now done the same thing. Is this the new way for Mitchum to get us to buy more? By having us throw away that much of every product what does that make the real cost of the product? And have they tried applying the deodorant with the broken off edge? I think I'm done with Mitchum and will go back a product that is a gel.

The Mitchum Unscented deodorant claims on the back that it is gentle on skin (which it is) and wont stain clothes (which it does!). About $200 worth of my nice tops have been destroyed because of this false advertising! There is no way to remove the white marks and its really annoying me. Do not say you can provide something when you clearly can't! I would like this matter to be solved or I will go further with my complaint.

Mitchum SmartSolid runied my brand new shirt. When I got to work today, in my BRAND NEW $32 shirt, I noticed that the nice blue color of my shirt had developed "bleached" looking rings under each arm. Not only did this product cost me $32 in the form of a new shirt, it cost me a certain amount of dignity that I cannot get back. THERE ARE NO WARNINGS ABOUT THIS ON THE PRODUCT-DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!

Why isn't this on the news and taken off the shelves? I too am another loyal LAB RAT consumer of Mitchum Deodorant and have been using it for 20 years. Purchased a new bottle of roll on, and after use, my armpits were painfully, swollen to the point they apppeared to have puckered, It felt like a the sting of a 1000 scorpions and looked like someone took a belt sander to my underarms! This is by far the most pain I have felt. I couldn't take my bra or shirt off by myself it was that bad. My panicing made me sweat which made it even worse. This is no laughing matter. Took a bath in an attempt to neutralize the swelling, it only helped while I was in the water. After a bath, I rsearched the ingredients, Wikipedia notes: Mitchum is a brand of antiperspirant-deodorant, launched in 1970 by Revlon. It is widely known for its marketing slogan, "So effective you can skip a day".

The gel version of their product used to contain 20% of the anti-perspirant Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly. The formula has since been changed to Aluminum Sesquichlorohydrate, and the slogan "So effective you could skip a day" has been dropped.

Slogan should read, the pain is so bad, you wish your arms would fall off!

Next I looked up: Aluminum Sesquichlorohydrate. Adverse side effects, toxic elements, alzheimer's, cancer, renal warning. Ok enough for me, I'll rub raw onions under my arms before I use this product again. If I lived in NY, I'd stand outside REVLON OFFICE and show the world my rashy pits!

I have been using Mitchum for a few weeks now, and i've been noticing more and more "bleach" stains on my favourite tee-shirts. I'm furious. At first, I thought it MIGHT be something else, but the stains are under the armpits and all up and down the sides. After finding this site, I realise it IS the Mitchum. Great. I'm about over $100 and some of my most favorite shirts. I'll buy anything BUT. I'd rather put on another brand 3 times a day then ruin my beautiful clothes with this crap. Mostly, I'm angry that there's absolutely NO warning on the container that this product may cause stains. Mitchum is poo!

This mitchum deodorant ruined 2 brand new shirts of mine by leaving bleach looking stains under my arms. it was very embarrassing at work when I have 2 huge stains under my arms and everyone can see them.

After years of using Mitchum deoderant, I stopped a few years ago because it didn't seem to be effective any more. They must have changed the formula to something that didn't work for me. In an effort to find my way back to Mitchum, I tried Mitchum for Women, Smart and Solid. It gave me a rash every time I wore it! I couldn't believe it so I kept coming back and trying it again. Rashed. Wow. I miss my effective Mitchum so much!

mitchum is by far the most effective anti-perspirant i have ever used, and their smart solid option the most user-friendly for many reasons.unfortunately, no matter how careful i am, every single one of them crumbles!as they are fairly pricey, this makes them unreasonably expensive.
mitchum, you have just lost a loyal consumer...boots makes a similar product that works almost as well and doesn't crumble.

Two months ago I bought some unscented roll-on and it didn't work. I did not stop sweating while I was in a meeting. Lucky I was wearing a loose fitting T-Shirt that was white. This is the first time your product did not work on me and I've been using it since the 90's. I tried the Gel next and it was scented, I still sweated in my next meeting and it doesn't cover the oder. Your product is not working and I am going to change to another brand. I don't know what you did to change your receipe but it is ineffective.

I have been using Mitchum for sometime, but now I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the solid deodorant. It crumbles, wasting at least half the deodorant. I wonder, has the company ever tried to apply deodorant using their hands? Little difficult! I am aggravated, because I have been unable to contact the Mitchum company using the 888 number, 1-888-8MITCHUM, so I can't even complain to them. If anyone has had success with that, please email me at [protected]@aol.com.

Hi. this is not a complaint, i'm a consumer who loves and buy mitchum products and i have tried to contact mitchum on it's website but i can't get through so hopefuly this will work. My husband and i use your produts and will be very happy if you can send me some coupons so that i can save some money.I just want to say keep the good work and hope to hear from you soon.

I have used Mitchum smart solid many times, I changed to another for a while then returned to using Mitchum and during that time something has happened. This product states that it is an invisible solid and that it has an "unbeatable white residue prevention" . This is rubbish, ive used lynx solid deodrant which in spite of it being white on application never left any marks or made me feel like ive put glue under my arms. Mitchum has ruined many of my t shirts, some of which ive only recently bought. It leaves a heavy waxy and hard residue which does not wash out and over a few wears actually appears to bleach the under arm area of the tshirt. The other problem I find is that it has a sticky feel under the arm and if you raise your arms it literally feels like my hair is being pulled. So all in all ignore the sticker on the packaging which shows a picture of a tshirt with a sign on the arm pit insinuating ( if thats how you spell it) that it will not leave marks because I have at least 4 tshirts with hard feeling waxy bleached looking patches under the arms. I am only annoyed because its not the cheapest promises the most and delivers only destroyed tshirts and sticky under arms. Oh also I developed a very painfull under arm rash whilst using it which ive never suffered before. May not be the product but stopped using it and syptoms have gone. To be fair though its very good as an anti perspirant so if you have serious problems maybe its worth the wrecked tshirts and sore under arms!

From the first use the mitchum for women smart solid "rosepetal" started to crumble and continues with each use.
