I cant explain how frustrated I am with metro pcs I have contacted metro pcs 1800 number several times and contacted the store I signed up at and am getting no where... I have never been treated with such disrespect and had so many problems with a provider or any service through my whole life. I have now been without a phone for 3 weeks. I bought a new zte blade phone paid over 200$ I also was paying for insurance. 2 weeks after I purchased my new phone the battery died on the new device I plugged it in and it never turned on after that... The lights blinked but nothing on the screen. I did what I was told I called the store and then I contacted insurance through metro pcs company and since it was only 2 weeks old they told me I could nit file a claim because the manufactory warranty is still in place. So metro pcs connected me to zte and they said I had to go without a phone they have up to 5 business days to fix it. So mind you I have to go without a phone I just bought go without numbers or contacts no one can get ahold of me I cant call anyone, nothing. The 5 days passed. I contacted zte when I haven't heard from anyone in over 7 days now. They never called me never shipped back the phone nothing. I finally got ahold of someone at zte and they said the manufactory detected liquid damage to my phone and will not cover it. I was furious. My phone has never been near water. I asked what do I do this is crazy so I appealed the decision and they said they had up to 48 hours for a decision to cover under manufacture warranty. Over 48 hours passed on the 3rd day since no one contacted me yet I call again now at this point almost 2 weeks without a phone. They tell me that I would have to pay 79.99 for them to fix it I refused I told them I would of jut went through my provider metro pcs for 50 if I was going to pay. They then told me that metro pcs should of covered my phone and replaced it imminently I told them I tried to go through them and they said I couldn't file a claim even though I had insurance on my phone because of the manufacture warrantee. They then told me to contact metro pcs toll free number because the nearest store where I bought the phone from is 4 hours away so all I can do is call. I called and gave all my info and told them and they tell me to go to a website phoneclaim.com or something and file a claim. So I did. Nothing work I couldn't file nothing was working so I called back again and asked to file a claim through the phone because I couldn't online. So I tell them exactly everything I been dealing with for the past 3 weeks now without a phone. And then they come back and tell me that I can't file a claim the insurance is denying it and I have to go though the manufactory I told them what the manufacture had told me about water damage so she tried again she said it wasn't going through. So I asked for her manager is a supervisor so wait on hold and a manager comes on and she try's to file then after about 45 minutes comes back to tell me that my metro pcs account is suspended and that my account is in collections. At this point i'm just heated. I told her how can a prepaid account be in collections. She told me that metro pcs is not a prepaid service I told her how am I suppose to pay my bill when my phone has been gone for 3 weeks. And she told me I was still responsible for paying. How could I pay for my phone when my phone has been gone she then told me there is no way of knowing I didn't have a phone I told her you guys can see that my phone hasn't been used or that there should be notes about my phone calls to them. She told me the only way to get a phone is to pay my bill. And she told me almost 2 months I was like what you can see I have had no activity on my phone or anywhere on my phone and there has been a claim reported and sent to the manufacture. They tell me there is nothing they can do. When I sent the phone out my phone was active and under warrenty and paying for insurance when this happened. I am just so shaken up about all this. I cant even begin to explain how unfair this is. If anyone is out anything it has been me. I only had a brand new phone for 2 weeks. I had to go without a phone number or a phone or service or talk to my family while I shipped my phone out. Now im left almost 3 weeks later still no phone. Out 200 dollars. Paid for monthly and now they are telling me I will not be getting a phone and that I will have to pay my bill. Yes to answer the question. I figured when I got my phone back I would have to pay yes because I knew it as past time but now because of all thus what do I do. This is crazy. You can see I have not had activity and that when I made the claim I did have insurance everything service. I hadnt a clue my phone would be gone for so long and that this would happen.. How am I suppose to know that while I sent my phone in to get fixed that they would shut my phone off and I guess put it into collections. How is such a thing done so fast anyways... How can my account be in collections already and how would I know this. I have been given the runaround for far to long. I recently went and got 4 lines with metropcs. I pay my phone on time but I was needing an extension due to the fact that I would not be getting paid until 3 days after my phone bill was due. Now I did get an extension but I have an IPhone and couldn't get no text messages, no emails, and no type of internet unless I was on WiFi . I tried calling the customer service number but the automated machine kept stating that I couldn't be transferred. After trying for 8 hrs I finally got through to a live agent named Michael ( He was a great help) but he wasn't able to make my phone work! He made me aware that MetroPcs made changes and when you get a extension the data is not included. I can't use my FaceTime nor receive any type of text message ! I'm furious because not everyone has an Android. He tried setting my phone up to receive and send messages like if I had an android but it didn't workout. Now I can't get anything unless I'm under WiFi. MetroPcs made a bad call by doing such a change and not really thinking that iPhones are based off of the data usage! And not once did they make me aware of the changes until I called in... Metropcs needs to communicate with their customers because this is why they have bad reviews!
$3 fee to pay in store, online payment doesn't take all cards
I've had MetroPCS for years and I always payed my bill online for free without a problem. As of 2017, the online payment service no longer is accepting my GTE Federal Credit Union Visa-Debit Card. I have called customer service again and again without being given a solution. The only options left are to either pay over the phone or go to a MetroPCS store but I get charged an extra $3 every month for paying this way.
I have found hundreds of people across the US with the same complaints and News reports as well. Why is this company not being held accountable?
A Desirable Solution:
1. MetroPCS online payment Service to accept all credit/debitcards
2. No $3 fee to pay in person at a MetroPCS Store
Please go to: The Federal Trade Commission Website and report MetroPCS for scamming their customers by charging a $3 fee to simply pay their bill in person and their online service doesn't accept all cards.

I've contacted metro pcs 10 times withing the past week because both of my phone are not receiving service, I'm getting dropped calls, I can't get on my internet most times, my notifications are coming late or not at all. IM BEYOND IRRITATED at the fact when I've called my issue still hasn't been resolved they put a credit on my account thinking that was going to resolve the issue. When I called back and got intouch with a supervisor for the 2nd time he told me since I took the credit that I was basically saying everything was fixed. When I told him I've been a very loyal customer for 5 years and shouldn't have to be calling back everyday because you guys can't provide the service you promise. He then explained ALL he can do is send in a ticket to the engineering department. He kept repeating that same line and that he couldn't help me to fix my service. You guys promote that we should have service everywhere but if I change cities now and if I'm not near the tower I'm connected to I experience the worst service and the supervisor didn't care or anything. To know I've been a loyal customer and your agents and supervisor shrug me off like I haven't been a loyal customer is disgusting. YOU GUYS PROMOTE 4GLTE DATA AND YOUR GUYSS SERVICE COVERAGE AREAS COVER ALOT BUT WHEN I LEAVE zip codes or leave to a different city I'm not getting coverage at all it's FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.

My phone has been nothong but flagged from me for so long as I remwmber. I went to a new local metro pcs company on Elkhorn Blvd. After allready speaking to man tjere about needing a phone and what was going on with my accounts he offered me four different phones to choose from then took 92.00 cash from me, no receipt was given but paper with 40.00 plan and my acct. #. He sold me a cover for phone and pieced it together for me. Made me mad. I had just put 200.00 on a greendot card and had to ise the online service to activaye card they said they would send me card in mail and gave me my pin number. Well today I have eighty+ dollars missing from the card and only 5 previos transactions on the report. The atm charges.50 cents for inquires and 2.95 for withdrawls. I yried to use for purchase and yhey said only.20 cents on card+charged me.20 cents twice on report. Also have a inquiry on thay morning for when I was in bed asleep. So. I yry and take phone back because I beleive they are using my account seeing as the phone allready rings twice I gave no one number and it was early in am like 3:30. I have been sold used phones q/also two lines beforw and did not want these. I also have sent for rebate and never received rebate back either. He offered my friwnd 20. And began to argue with me about how its my fault and that I have to wait 11 days for mail check. I want my money back. I am a customer. What do I do now? Even my credit card is screwed up from these stupid idiots in the business dor lical that are telling me I no longer deserve the customer appreciation for even choosing for them to rip off. This service is one of the worst cell service I have ever had. Constantly dropping calls, dead zones in highly populated areas in cities where service should be good. No other cell service is as bad with dead zones like Metro. I live near Detroit, about 20 miles out and have terrible service. I used to live about the same milage from Cincinnati and had the same problems. They need more cell towers put up or something. I pay 40 bucks for service that I can only use if I'm in a large city, not in my home which is only 20 miles from one. I even try to make it work by going outside, still nothing...

My complaint is their phones, and their customer service. It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am a long time customer and havevbeen forced to purchase 3 phones in the last year! Now keep in mind when your phone breaks you have to incur the cost of sending your phone in for repair (which means you are without a phone for weeks!) this is what happened to me. I purchased a fierce xl it completely shut down after only 4 months. I sent it in. It broke again a month later. So now they tell me to go to a metro store and they wilk give me a free upgrade for being a long time customer. My free... Upgrade was 25.00 off the purchase of another new phone. So I purchased another new phone.. This time I got a lg aristo 2. After only 2 minths the homescreen went out. So I called metro customer support. I am on hold 2 hours being transferred here and there and finally furious I demand to speak to a supervisor. He tells me to go back to the store where I purchased the phone and they will give me another or fix mine. Neither of those things happened. I call metro again and tell them abiut the upgrade I had purchased and the store wouldnt help me. Keep in mind I pur hased the phone 2 months ago! The supervisor tells me on 6-11-2018 he will send me a refurbished phone thats almost as goid as the one I had purchased and it would arrive in 3-5 business days. Calling every day after day 8 of business and no phone as promisrd. I call metro again on 6-20-2018. Phone was never sent or ordered! A supervisor named jay his id # 500392 tells me he will personally expidite my phone and he has to walk down a hall 30 minutes away to do it and will call me back within the hour. 24 hrs later, he gave me more lies! And a fake id #... My nightmare is still continuing today! Metro pcs is the worst ever!
plan change
My fiance and I have been paying $50 for 2 phones for years. Recently, he bought a new phone because his broke due to an accident. When he bought the new phone, the cashier changed our plan without asking and told my fiance that he will add his new phone to our plan instead of removing the old phone/old number so the new one can take its place. Before we left the store, the cashier told us to return before our next bill payment to take off the old phone and to switch back to our $50 plan. My fiance did that yesterday (June 19, 2018) and our plan suddenly went up to $108. So this morning (June 20, 2018), my fiance called up the company and the guy told him our plan has been changed so many times, that it can't change again. We want our $50 plan back. We never asked for 3 phones to be on our plan and we never wanted our plan to change. The cashier who helped us works at Metropcs in the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall and his name is Austin. He royally screwed us over and I want this fixed before July. Thank you!
I have two maybe three complaints.
I've had my Samsung J7 prime less than a year. It frequently, freezes, poor call quality, sometimes numerous attempts to connect an established blue tooth. Lag time make calls.
My second complaint is I purchased a high quality blue tooth around the neck ear buds. O could press a button on either side to retract the ear buds. This morning at work I noticed on of the ear buds broken. After work returned to the metro pcs store in greenspoint where I made the original purchase. Pretty boy Floyd with an outdated in professional hair style said since it was a month ago nothing he could do, except an exchange for twenty dollars per metro pcs rules and regulations. When I called customer service agent said up to store associates.
So I will be dropping them yhey cater more to their own anyway
four free phones offered by metro
I switch to MetroPCS from boost and I was supposed to get 4 free phones for $100 I paid $125 for 3 phones which the Boost phones were from my mother-in-law and my brother but I was cheaper to pay for 4 phones and it would be to be two phones from Boost that's why I decided to get the four free phones I told the man I wanted the exact phones that I have because I have the service to and I was paying for my friends service that day I told him I already paid my bill yesterday the day before so I wanted to for free phones I told him I was in a hurry aside baby back to get them and he said that he would have more ready for me when I got there I picked out the phone I wanted which were they were supposed to be just like my phone when I came back and pick the phones up they weren't the phone they were supposed to be and there was only 3 so when I figured out what he did by putting the three phones on my account I went back in there and he told me he was going to charge me $30 per phone which was $90 cuz I return the phones that they didn't have any other phones there was nothing that they could do about it he said take it up with the corporate office and nobody seems to know what that number is and I can put on hold and hung up on it's just been going on way too long now I'm receiving a bill saying that my phone bill is due today that I have to pay another $75 it's only been two weeks since I paid my bill of $40 and the $125 on top of it the next day so you've already got $165 and it's not even been two weeks

Purchase zte blade on 6/13/18 phone bluetooth service was shutting off and on . Also battery life would not hold to 80 percent within 6 hours and no use on the phone. Took back to store on 6/14/2018 wanted exhange for different model and pay some difference but had to pay way out of pocket as if i was buying a new phone. It not fair as a customer to have to purchase another phone with just 40 dollars off retail price . Especially when i did not use phone much and only purchase for one day.

They provide phones to minors and put names on minors name also they dont ask for ID so the customer can pretty much put any name or address they want which can lead to identity theft. Specially a girl that works in the Elgin office that comes to work to the streamwood store on Irving park next to the bakery. That's not acceptable.thats bad business

I've only been to this store three times. The first two times the girl was over ten minutes late opening and I wasn't the only one waiting outside. This third time I get here to pay my phone bill and there is a sign on the door that says "be back about @ 6:30pm thanks" during operating hours? Very unprofessional and an embarrassment to metro pcs. I have somewhere I need to be and now I'm stuck waiting on this person.

Regarding MetroPCS Store at 5060 W Bethany Home Rd #13, Glendale, AZ 85301.
This store is poorly ran. The owner, Jake is very rude. He also likes to lock his door and leave multiple times a day. He helps another store nearby called AZAD Market in the same plaza. Hes even ruder there. He will lock MetroPCS doors to go run this market almost everyday and when he notices a car pull up he will take about ten minutes to walk back to MetroPCS and by then the customers have left. He also tries to just hire females and hits on them in front of customers. Most of the time there is no one running this business. Its needs looked into and investigated. There needs to be a new owner or it needs shut down. If he rather work for AZAD Market then he needs to shut down MetroPCS. You cannot run two stores at once and lock one door and run back and forth! This is ridiculous and is making MetroPCS look even worse!
unlocking my phones
My husband is in the military and has a deployment order from the US military and Metropcs refused to unlock our phones. Although it says clearly on their website that we are entitled to have our phones unlocked. They were extremely rude and acted as if we are stealing the phones although they are prepaid phones that we fully paid their prices in advance. They have no respect to the military or the military life of deployments and they are extremely rude. I have been a customer for a year but no more.

I purchased Metro Pcs service and 2 phones kg-7 about a year ago. Service fine until a couple of months ago when calls were being dropped daily. Also the voices on the other end were so garbled i couldnt understand what they were saying. As an attorney this is very embarrassing. If this is not corrected i will change service and file a complaint with the FCC.

told service crashed or was hacked. payed bill in cash yesterday at metroPCS. phone has not worked since. not getting calls on my business phone and cannot check on family member in hospital. had to leave work early and lose pay to go back to metroPCS store and had to wait before getting help. found out many customers had their plan changed without their permission and their service was suspended like mine. MetroPCS is unreliable and prone to hacks. lost money and time. would not recommend this carrier...they SUCK!

These people are the biggest scammers out there. I was on the phone with a Customer Rep named Gerna ID # 501121 and I asked her why online they have the sim card online for $10 and in store for $20 and her response over and over again, as if she's a robot is "Ma'am you need to ask the store why the price is different." Like wtf. So I asked her if she's customer service, why isn't she servicing the customer. She was as helpful as a splinter in a finger nail. I was told to call around and ask stores how much their sim cards are selling for. It's amazing that I can purchase this item lower on amazon than in a legit METRO PIECE OF [censored] store.

I arrived at the metro pcs store in Stroudsburg, Pa to pay my bill. There was a $3.00 service fee for paying at the store. I asked the girl to please waive it as I've never payed after at the store in Wilkes Barre, Pa. I was told to call customer service myself. So I called myself only to find that the lady I spoke with couldn't help me either. I asked to speak to a manager. I was transferred to her "supervisor" where I sat and listened to the phone ring for almost 10 minutes before I hung up and paid the fee. I'm confused as to why there's a fee for paying cash of all things in a store? Why is there customer service nobody has an answer to such a simple question? I will most definitely be looking into a different phone carrier.
