This is an appalling website. It seems to be a US site but is actually a company registered in the UK. If you live in the UK, VAT is added, but you don't know anything about it until you get your statement. Yes, the total is shown at the top of the page after you enter UK in the address field, but that has disappeared by the time you enter your credit card details and you would need to scroll up to find the total to be charged. There is no VAT receipt provided - the order confirmation just shows the price without the VAT. Is this legal? Surely you have to clearly state the VAT inclusive price on an e-commerce site. I wonder if HMRC ever gets the VAT. There is no VAT registration number on the website and indeed there is no company registration displayed although they are registered at Companies House. It is a legal requirement to display this number. All looks very dodgy to me!!!

I've just seen your message on these boards.

Please note that we don't routinely check these however, so for the quickest support, please do email us at

If you've purchased anything from us, please include your order details too, so that we can locate your order.

    To answer your question:

You're right, we are a UK-based company, and always have been. We display our full address at the bottom of every site, and on our homepage at

And, yes, if you are based in the UK or Europe, we are required to charge VAT on top of your order price. Sorry!

We do clearly state the exact amount to be charged prior to purchasing, at several points.

If you wish to receive a VAT invoice, we are happy to provide one. You may be able to claim back the VAT, depending on your circumstances.

Please just get in touch :-)

    Thank you,

    Christer @ Inspire3
