I am very upset with Ideal Image after my first treatment and a second consultation/evaluation. They are very incompetent when it comes to scheduling appointments. After my first consultation on August 29th, 2013 I was given an appointment time for Thursday October 24th at 7:20pm or 7:40pm. I called ahead of time to confirm my appointment time and to my surprise was not on their schedule at all. Their receptionist wasn't going to be able to reschedule my appointment until November 16. I asked if this delay was going to cause any problems with my results and she assured me that it wouldn't but she was unable to give me an exact time to be there after placing me on hold multiple times. After being on the phone for close to 20 minutes to simply confirm my appointment time I had to get back to work as I had called on a lunch break. The general manager returned my call and advised they would accommodate me for Thursday evening and to call back to confirm that I would be available. I spoke with Ginny and told her I had an appointment elsewhere at 6pm and would not be available until 7:30pm. I told her about my concerns after my first treatment. That I hadn't experienced any decreased hair growth an that I felt like it was possible the treatments wouldn't work with my hair type (I have natural dark blond hair with some auburn tint). She told me that she would brief one of the nurses before my arrival and that she would inform Tammy of the results of my consultation with the nurse. She specifically said Tammy would most likely be gone for the day considering the time I was available to come back in. I arrived at Ideal Image at 7:30 and was surprised that the nurse familiar with my case was unavailable and already in the middle of another treatment. The nurse I saw advised me that from what she saw there was no way I would get the results I thought I had purchased for close to $1800. She also advised that with my skin and hair type they would have to slowly ramp the laser level higher and higher and that some people experience burns. I had specifically asked if this was possible during my first consultation and was told it was impossible to be burned by these lasers as they target only dark hair and cannot burn skin. Furthermore, when I returned home I had a voicemail from Ginny stating she had me down to arrive at 6 or 6:30pm and since I hadn't shown up she was going to assume that I wasn't coming! I couldn't believe it! After we had just discussed me having an appointment elsewhere at 6pm that would prevent me from arriving anytime before 7:30pm. I considering consulting an attorney going forward.

Please stay away from this place. It's a scam to get your money. The first time you arrive everyone is nice and friendly after you sign the contract all of that disappears. I can't believe the level of uncaring attitudes displayed here. The worst part of it all, they cancelled my appointment time claiming to have contacted me. If you need to change the time that I scheduled for myself a good business would make sure they personally got in touch with me. I've never experienced such a thing. This was very inconsiderate, unprofessional and rude. When arriving to the place on my scheduled day the receptionist which is supposed to be the lead receptionist was very rude and unconcerned. I prefer a doctors office where the employees actually care about me and treat me with respect and appreciation. This clearly is not this business! If only I had listened to the many negatives reviews, I would have NEVER chosen this place. If you care about good customer services and a business that respects you as a patient DO NOT GO HERE!

Ideal image advertised heavily on most local radio stations. They advertised 50% for the month. When I called to get an idea of cost, the salesperson stated that every package is individual because everyone is different and there was no way she could give me an idea of cost; she could set up a free consultation. I had a consultation to have my underarm hair removed. She quoted me $1990 as the promotional 50% price and stated that it was the typical. She stated that it is 9 treatments, making it reasonable to believe that this was the typical process, not an individualized product. She printed out the contract and pointed out the places I needed to sign. I scanned over it asking a few questions. I should have read word for word. I asked if I could cancel anytime and she said I could. I chose to cancel after my first treatment because of the irritation to my skin. What she did not tell me, was that when I cancel, they charge way more for the single session than the original agreed pricing. Not to mention it took 3 days and over 10 phone calls to even get her on the phone! Ideal image is only out for money. They do not care about their clients. Proof positive... The cancelation contract makes you agree to not mention the contract or any of the situations surrounding the cancellation to any person or entity (Yes, I may be breaching my contract right now). I've not heard any unpaid positive endorsement for this company. I was a fool that failed to do adequate research and it cost me $398.

After all my sessions and my complete payment of $5000.00 for 6 different areas of treatment, I have been told that the hair that remains is considered not treatable hair. Its funny, when I was signing up and paying a large down payment, they guaranteed that this was a permanent hair removal treatment. So after all of the treatments and expressing my concern that the treatments still were not working, they want me to pay more, to have the hair permanently removed. I want a refund! Some one needs to file a class action lawsuit!

Here's my story:

My roommate and I were very excited to get laser hair removal so we searched for a bunch of place in Sarasota & Bradenton. We wanted to go to a place with reputation because it is our skin and health what we were going to deal with. After looking around we found an Ideal Image office in Bradenton, FL (the one on University Parkway). I was the first one to get an appointment so I showed up and met with Danielle, the sales rep. She pretty much sold me on the idea of signing a contract, which she never explained in detailed. She said so many good things about the company and their laser but she avoided main points in the contract and of course hidden charges. She even got me a loan for $5000 with Chase...I was never informed of that either. When I went to my first appointment, the laser specialist was rushing, didn't care about doing it right and in detailed. Also, the laser damaged my skin. After this horrible experience, I decided to cancel the service but Ideal Image refused to do it. They even declined to reimburse me for the treatments I hadn't even received yet. No matter what I said, they declined to send the money Chase paid in advanced for the treatments.

Due to their reluctance, I decided to file a formal complaint with Chase. Chase spoke with Ideal Image multiple times and at the end Ideal Image said that they will reimburse the money for the treatments I didn't use. When I called Chase, they said that Ideal Image reimbursed everything but $680, which they claimed they charged me for the first treatment. I was very upset and faxed them copy of my contract, which stated my first treatment was only $187. Chase agreed with my claim; however, they said Ideal Image said that because I cancelled the contract I was not eligible for the discounts anymore so they decided to charge me full price. After dealing with Chase and Ideal Image for a month and a half I gave up and paid the balance in full. I have never been so disappointed and upset with a company as I was with Ideal Image. I will never recommend or even consider going back. I understand that Ideal Image is a franchise so every owner is different; however, Corporate should not let these kind of people run under the business name. I was scammed and now I have a horrible image of the company. Of course my roommate never went to her appointment...

Please note the obvious false claims all positive and within days of each other on this site. People don't go to a complaints board to write positive reviews about their experience. It is clearly a representative from Ideal Image trying to cover all of the bad reviews they get. Get Real Ideal Image and let your customers review you honestly and quit falsifying your own reviews. It's soooooo obvious.

Love Love Love! Before I started my treatments I had major ingrown hairs to the point that I had scars. Now I have had 3 treatments on my bikini and underarms the ingrown hairs have stopped and the scars are going away. I would recommend this to ANYONE who has had issues with irritation and ingrown hairs. Plus the girls that work there are super nice and always make me feel comfortable. I can’t wait to start my legs!

I have been extremely impressed with Ideal Image from my first consult to all of my treatments. I am halfway thru my treatment and I'm beyond happy with my results. I never expected the process to be so easy. Everyone I have worked with there has been professional, kind and have been able to answer all of my questions. I would recommend this product/service to anyone!

I was very surprised at the complaints but happy to see some compliments too. I first went to Ideal Image because I had ingrown hairs and shaving or waxing my bikini area was painful. I was so happy with the results that I added another area recently. I love going to my appointment because I am in and out in a flash (not like the waiting I've experienced in other settings where I wait in the waiting room after checking in then wait in the examination room). I love the way my skin feels and looks so no regrets here.

I'm a current customer at Ideal Image in Plano and wanted to post about the level of customer service I have received at Ideal Image. I have really sensitive skin and was really worried about the laser hurting. When I went in for my sessions, my tech was really great at explaining everything to me and going slowly. She even gave me squeezie balls so I could focus through the pain.

But the best part now is that I don't have to shave and I don't have red bumps anymore. I am very happy.

The tech didn't have to be so patient with me but she was, and that says a lot for her customer service.

I started going to ideal image in charlotte over a year ago. After my treatments I no longer have to shave my underarms! Ever. The dark grey area is gone, its really smooth and I have nice skin there now. My bikini area is just the same. No longer an issue. If you've ever had a bikini wax, now that is painful and you know what... It doesn't last. This is a more permanent solution. You don't have to let area grow out first (Nice for the bathingsuit months) plus no downtime after. I can have a treatment and get right into a bathing suit. (Or go back to work and not have any issues.) I highly recommend the team in charlotte. The girls in the office by southpark are really helpful and sweet. Its one of the best things i've ever done for myself. It's really given me more time, freedom, less embarassment, and worry! Thanks ideal image!

I just wanted to take a moment and say that my experience with the Palm Harbor Ideal Image has been wonderful from start to finish! The person I initially spoke with on the phone was very helpful in scheduling an appointment and gave me some reassurance about my areas of concern.

When I came in to the office for my consultation, the staff at the front were so welcoming and friendly, I was immediately at ease. Stephanie, the consultant, introduced herself and took me on a tour of the center. She was very warm and friendly, sharing her personal experience with the treatment and even showed me how smooth and hair-free her legs were! I was very embarrassed about my own areas since they were so personal that my own family didn't even know what I was going through. To my humiliation, the hair on my upper lip and chin had gotten so out of control that I had been reduced to shaving my face like a man! I would lock the door to the bathroom so no one could discover my horrible secret! Stephanie made me feel very comfortable with the process and explained that these are very common areas for women. The part that was most encouraging was finding out that I would never have to grow the hair out and I would be hair-free through most of the process!

Victoria, who does my treatments, is one of the sweetest people I've ever met and so professional! We chat and laugh through the treatment so it goes very quickly with very little discomfort. I've completed 5 treatments so far and I still have the 4 free follow up visits left. The amazing thing is that I don't have to shave anymore and my face is so smooth and soft now! No more hiding in the bathroom and no more five o'clock shadow. I can even let my husband touch my face again! This experience has changed my life and I would recommend it to anyone thinking about it. I wish I had done it years ago. To the staff at Palm Harbor Ideal Image, a million times thank you!

Ideal Imagine is the best place in the area for laser hair removal. Prior to signing up with them, I thought doctors' offices would be the best place for laser hair removal. However, I soon learned that most rent lasers and do not use the highest quality machines. At Ideal Imagine, they own all their machines and customize the machine type/settings according to your personal needs so that you get optimal results. At my initial consultation, Astri spent over an hour answering all my questions, showing me the equipment, and explaining the process. I've been receiving treatments over a year now and am very satisfied with the quality and customer service I receive at every visit. Megan, a PA and my treatment provider, is amazing. She is very attentive to my comfort level, efficient, excellent at her job, accommodating, and always available to answer my questions via phone or email. For example, I remembered the day of my treatment that I needed a prescription for a cream prior to the treatment that day. I emailed her and she was able to call in the prescription that morning. I also have a very busy schedule and Megan is always adjusting her schedule to ensure that I am able to keep with my scheduled treatment plan. The front office staff are very friendly, they always offer you water when you walk in and are patient when making your appointments. Finally, the results are incredible! I've been very impressed and enjoying not needed to shave/wax. Ideal Image stands by their service. Some of the areas I'm doing have been resistant to treatment so Ideal Image offered to add several more complimentary treatments to ensure I receive the best possible results.

I will definitely recommend Ideal Image of Colleyville to all of my friends and family! Their customer service is outstanding. My consultation was very informative and left me with a knowledge of laser hair removal. My consultant was very knowledgeable and friendly. I purchased my package on the same day as my consultation and was actually treated the same day! The treatment provider was very friendly and made me feel comfortable during the entire treatment. I have been to other Laser Hair Removal consults and this one by far was the most professional. I actually had results after my first treatment! I am extremely happy with my decision to go with Ideal Image of Colleyville!

This is not a complaint, but a compliment! I love Ideal Image! Do not waste your time or money on groupons and spas, no one gives results like Ideal Image! The nurses are so professional and they really care about my results, and my results are fantastic! I have had 4 sessions on my underarms, bikini line and my legs and I have STOPPED shaving. This really worked for me and I was really worried because the spas did not work in the past. The prices are a totally worth the service and the results, I think that I am getting every penny of what I am paying for! The staff is really nice, the place is super clean and I love it. If you want laser hair removal go to ideal image in Arlington.

Like everyone else out there, I was always opening up the groupon, and living social deals, and jumping on the "fantastic deals" I bought one laser hair removal deal, only to find out that they didn't have the machine yet! They were trying to get some money together to get a gentle lase machine. They had an IPL machine that they said that could treat me with if I didn't want to wait till they had the right machine. Guess what, they still don't have the machine yet!

I don't know about you, but I love a good deal, I paid $200 for nothing! A. K.A. "Sucky deal!" I fought it and got my money back, but I'm not wasting my time again for false deals.

I finally broke down and called Ideal Image. I had heard from my friend that they were pricey, but they actually have machine's and they work! The girl who did the consultation was really nice. I wasn't comfortable about my hair issues. She introduced me to the nurses that do the treatments, explained how everything works, showed me the machines and had the nurse come in to see how treatable I was. I found out that I was not a candidate for the area that I wanted to treat. She said that there was no way that they will treat something that would have poor results. The other place told me that I would have great results! The other place just wanted my money! They didn't care about me at all! What jerks!

Well, this story has a happy ending. Well, almost... I still have hair on the area that isn't treatable. But, I am LOVING the treatments that I have started with on my bikini and underarms with Ideal Image! I am on my 4th treatment, and the hair is soo thin and with each treatment, there is less and less hair left! I know that they are more expensive than the cheap places, but I wouldn't go anywhere else. With the monthly payment plan, it is actually about the same price that I was paying for waxing anyway.

Please call them and listen to what they have to say! Ideal Image will honestly let you know if you are not treatable, and if you are treatable, you will love not having to shave!

I have always wanted to laser hair removal as I have BLACK hair and extremely pale skin. I have a lot of peach fuzz and other hair mixed together. A lot of random hair on my face that I would usually spend hours plucking to go out into public and see that there is that REALLY long one I missed. I have tried shaving, waxing, bleaching, plucking...you name it I tried it.

I am now into my 4th session moving on to my 5th. So far I noticed a HUGE difference in certain areas with LARGE portions of dark hair (under arms, Lower Legs, Bikini, down south and some facial areas) I would have to say I see at least a 50-60% reduction in those areas. I have cut down shaving DRAMATICALLY in which I shave at least 2 time a week versus the EVERYDAY I was shaving before. Now I am in the phase that each time you go back they up the lasers. If you think that this wont hurt you are wrong. Certain areas hurt more than others. Its not the worst pain ever but it certainly smarts and if you don't have a higher pain tolerance...good luck. It almost feels like ants biting you along with a rubber band snapping you.

The staff is AWESOME. Its almost worth going there just to see them :) They are so great. I absolutely love them.

So far one of the hardest things for me is to not pluck or bleach anything in between treatments, but now I am to the point where there isn't anything to do that to...I do have peach fuzz in areas, but I knew that was not going to leave...A lot of people complain about it not working. Granted, everyone is different, body chemistry and hair...BUT A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! If they say NO SUN they mean...NO SUN!
Don't pluck, bleach or do anything but shave the hair you want done or else guess what IT WON'T WORK...so STOP COMPLAINING!

The one downfall is that it IS expensive and I wish I could get more areas for how much I paid. I paid in cash and felt like I should get more areas as I paid upfront and for as much as I paid I should get all the areas I wanted done.

Besides that I am excited to continue my process and see how it ends up.

As a male looking for information on hair removal, Ideal image of West Hartford and the entire staff provided me with all the answers and i am greatly satisfied with the service and results. The entire process has been exactly what was told and i wish i had done it ten years ago. All the providers have treated me very professionally and my main provider Meghan has answers to any questions i have had and takes pride in her work and is extremely detailed oriented... i would 100% recommend the treatments to any male who wants to be hair free and gain confidence back and change your life forever...
