I am one of the most troubled customer of sickest connection called hathway vadodara gujarat. I have renewed connection since last 13 days but till date hardly 4 or 5 days I can used. Every day whenever trying to get connected always finds hopeless message server not found and every time there is network problem. When complaining only polished answer given like ho jayega or ab problem nahi hoga etc etc.

When technician came he did something and network work for that particular day but on the net day or day after the same problem of network persists. I request all of you not to go for hathway vadodara.
Especially during rainy seasons their network is almost not working so it is better for such hopeless service provider to close their offices for this rainy season’s month. They promised 256 kbps but are not in apposition to provide 10 kbps forget 256 kbps, once they received the payment. I wonder and probably doubt that owner of vadodara hathway internet has some problem with us ofr with our area. Let it clear.

So. Barodians!! Beware of hathway broadband. They will have all the marketing gimmicks to cheat and attract you. Finally, u will end up repenting,... Only to look at the modem and blink, whether it will blink... Or not!!!

Better to go for good ones, even though cost may be higher!!! Hath way — is — wrath way!

    I just took a 3 month's unlimited connection two days ago and have had great problems with the service of Hathway Baroda. I agree with the writer of this mail and would request all affected to join up and take a strong action against this company in Baroda. No help line numbers reply and the same problems were there with Iquara earlier.

    Can we get together and decide on why some companies should do what they should not in our city of Baroda?

    my customer no. is 328489 and my complaint no. 1844839 dt.7/9/08. After 7/9/08 regularly I am reminding your hathway no.66989898 and they are assuring but as on today my net work is not funtioning and opning at all. yesterday also I given complaint in this box but even after lapse of considerable time the same is not rectified. I am having a doubt whether this complaint box is ment for eye wash or really you are feeling about improving customer service. Now I have to think about alternative seriously.

    I completely agree with the above feedback for the Hathway broadband connection. Because I am one of the victims...!!! My cust ID is 328493, from the day ONE, I have been facing and still continue facing many many many many many PROBLEMS WITH THE HATHWAY CONNECTION...HATHWAY CONNECTION SUCKS...there are more than 50 complaints within the last 60 days...believe me ... I can provide you all the complaints numbers (for proof) ...call me for any clarifications... 9248025999 - Praveen . . . Finally I REQUEST, URGE, SUGGEST, ADVISE and WARN THOSE WHO want to or going to take new HATHWAY CONNECTION... that this service sucks...!!! am based at KPHB, Hyderabad, I call the Hathway customer care almost everyday... many of the customer service people recognise me because I am a regular customer for them...!!! to give complaints... I strongly feel why should we pay them in advance and why should we face such problems...?? more over I am a prepaid customer, I already paid 6 months service fee in advance, they even do not have the courtesy of calling back to customer nad resolving the problems, they promise that they would send the technical people or they would make the technical guy call us back ... but that's not gonna happen... After reading such a BIG BAD EXPERIENCE, WORSE FEEDBACK, if you would still like to go for HATHWAY CONNECTION... You are WELCOME TO GO AHEAD AND experience the hell and it would be a new experience who likes bad service...!!! FRANKLY SPEAKING, HATHWAY IS THE ONLY COMPANY IN MY LIFE ( I experienced so far) that does not give customers much preference but gives preference for marketing, sales, money collection...( sales guy collected my cheque 10 days in advance...!! check no. 716242 SBI, kukatpally branch)...     I am also the victim of poor service of Hathway.After renewal of my connection before 2 1/2 month, hardly for 10 days or so, I could be able to get connectivity .Inspite of repeated complaint on their customer care, I didn't get the prompt response.
    Second fraud they made with us about the speed of Internet.They are commiting 256 kbps speed.But We never get speed more than 30 to 40 kbps.
    Compare to Hathway, BSNL broadband is exceptinaaly very good regarding the service and speed.So I have decided not to renew with Hathway.
    This is my request for all Barodians not to get decieved in What Hathway is promising.

    Following is my mail to hathway...Pathetic service even before getting a connection...I wonder how u guys survived...




    I had requested a new connection of 128Kbps (unlimited plan) for 3 months and made the payment on 26th Sept to Hathway.)



    The connection is not yet provided till date ( 17 days till date)



    The sales representative promised to install the very next day…

    Hathway installation team visited my site on 27th and I asked them to do internal cabling…

    The guys left and later it was promised that the cabling will be done in 2 days…



    I made number of calls to hathway Hyderabad call centre.. (These calls would have being recorded in your system as well…)

    However there were all false promises that the installation will be done today, tomm every day that I called them….

    (Name of the CSR’s are, jyothi, usha, prasanna (the so called supervisor) and so many others…but all of them gave me either incorrect information and false promises….



    I almost made 3 to 4 calls every day to hathway Hyderabad (66989898) and tried complaining about this to higher authorities of hathway…

    But none were addressed…

    I tried talking to the manager in-charge (some Mr Shastri)….He refused to call me or talk to me and address this issue immediately to do the installation…….



    I talked to prasanna (The supervisor) on 8th Oct…She promised me to give a connection by EOD 8th Oct ….(False promise again)….

    She also committed on the date and if the commitment was not fulfilled then, I can collect my refund…

    She proudly called me on 10th Oct and asked me to collect my refund if it was not installed on 10th Oct (False promise again)………



    hathway hyderabad FAILED to provide service to One customer. Attitude - No issues… this is a billion population country…





    Finally I was tired of making complaints and calls, I asked the hathway to do external cabling on 10th Oct morning at the cost of drilling a hole in my Window Frame…….

    I was again promised that it would be done on 10th…then later on before 5:00P.M on 11th oct…. not to mention that I was FOOLED time & again….

    No-one turned up to lay the cable and install the connection….…I called hathway at 4:00P.M on 11th oct and no one picked up the phone….

    I was kept on for hold twice for 10 mins without any CSR attending the call…..



    Let me also not hide the fact that on 3rd Oct some CSR promised me that cabling will be done before 11:00A.M on 4th Oct…

    I was waiting…waiting and waiting……Cannot waste my weekend….I made plans for the evening & leaving the house at 3:00P.M and some hathway fellows turned up….

    I had to send them back……….



    My problem – No time to collect the refund…lot of money/time to follow-up daily with hathway….mental agony of being cheated….

    Hathways problem – Inefficient staff to give false commitment and wrong information to the customers…

    No follow-up’s done by CSR’s to close the issue. The CSR’s were blunt to say that, whatever commitment they got from cabling dept, they committed to the customer…



    I wont be surprised if this matter is not highlighted and closed by reasons like “No connectivity in the area/building”

    But let me tell you that there are 2 connections in my apartment and all were given in 1 days time….



    I can also provide the recorded voice conversations of all the CSR’s that had made false promises…

    (But simple…...I don’t have a net connection at home and am forced to use cyber-café despite making the payment for internet connection 17days ago…)

    The sales guy (Srikanth ) came running to my house 3 times in just 2 days, he made 5 calls to me & then collected the cheque…….before taking the new connection…

    But once I made the payment, he refused to hear my problem and even did not call me…despite calling him twice and telling him the problem

    Bottomline…paisa mil gaya…kaam ho gaya…



    Can some higher authority in Mumbai office address this issue right away?



    I will call hathway Mumbai office on Monday…I doubt whether this is the service provided by Hathway to all its customers…

    ya surely hathway is so worest,
    No wordes to explain it. they are very good at cheating public, not for providing internet. Since so many days on wards i am not getting my internet after loging complaint also., iwish to teach a lesson to them by going court, as a consumer or custemr i have some rights and i will bring althose cheaters to court. so be ware of this frauding communities.

    last evening my computer got blast cause of this Hathway cable when i asked to Hathway technical team they asked me do whatever you want we can not do any thing and will not give you money back, never use hathway service, I believe Vadodara hathway service is the worst service in the world :(

    We are also having problem with the service of Hathway, for the last 2 month we are complaining to enter PTR entry for our IP, but till date this is not done. They always says we have done but when our IT engineer checks the same, the same problem occurs again. We are feed up with the service of Hathway
