Shona steel filing cabinet
Ordered a Shona Steel Filing Cabinet and paid for a top up for next day delivery. However, it was delivered in bad condition, with multiple huge dents at the sides and back (pictures show some). Called Customer Service who said that they will e-mail me back to rearrange a delivery in a week or two (which was already frustrating because I needed the express delivery). However, despite calls and at least 3 follow up e-mails sent, they still have not sent a single word of reply after a week, even though they told me to keep this week clear for possible exchange. This has caused massive inconvenience to my schedule as I am stuck in limbo - I need to take leave to ensure someone is home to receive the delivery. Would not recommend FortyTwo if you are looking for furniture to fill your home, due to the high probably of defects and lack of customer service.

Curver Deco Slim Bin Metallic 25L (SKU FTSG021625)
I ordered Curver Deco Slim Bin Metallic 25L (SKU FTSG021625) as part of the order. The Bin has a defective design from Day 1. When we press the foot pedal, instead of the lid propping open, the lid becomes loose with the rim and fails to open. Even if we secure it again to the rim, it works one or two times before again showing same behaviour, making it completely unusable. Please provide a replacement bin.

Forty two - delivery and service standards
I will like to highlight an utterly disappointing encounter today. Placed an order, and the delivery is supposed to be today 12-4pm. Nothing came. I called in at 530pm but was unable to get through the hotline.
Hence, i dropped an email and was notified that the service personnel has accidentally changed my delivery date due to a system glitch.
Since i wrote in, she now chose another date for me, without even asking about my availability.
1. It is an Absolutely waste of time as the delivery didnt come on the slated date and time. I was waiting the whole day at home, when my plan is to visit my dad who is hospitalised once the order arrived.
2. Without even an apology, it is even more so ridiculous when the service personnel takes it in her own hands and chose the next delivery date without even asking about my availability.
Reviews online are suspiciously rigged.

Cupboard
We bought Cupboard from Fortytwo.com end of January 2016 . To our surprise, all parts of the cupboard came out in 3 days . Seems we have paid money for Garbage stacked in one corner of the bedroom . The cupboard has slidding doors which have fallen apart and even the glass at the centre is a show piece now .
Is this is quality forty two.com sells ?
Would request refund of our money asap . One single member earning and trusting a brand has made us very disappointed .
I bought 4 sets of markel chest of drawers from forty two furniture. Prob one of the worst decisions in a long time . The drawers hinges were so fragile and made of such cheap materials taht they started falling apart just 1 week after use. I won’t recommend this to anyone .
Am addressing it with them but I doubt they can do anything as it’s a quality of material issue.
Forty two. sg: L shaped sofa stitches falling apart with minimal use
Am a regular and happy customer of fortytwo.sg (earlier beds.sg) and recommended friends too. However my current experience has gone bad. I got a Deborah L shaped sofa from them and today I realized its stitches are falling apart despite normal use. The sofa is still within warranty period and stitches falling apart so fast is shocking. originally I had asked for walnut color but was given black, but agreed with it. But now I have asked them for replacement as stitches falling apart at a low pressure point means it's a makers defect. The company is now trying to say its due to bad usage and I have challenged them that in the entire sofa if they can find a single other scratch, I will not claim anything. I plan to file this with CASE, as buying online itself has risks and on top if the makers refuse to take responsibility I have a problem.
Quality of product is horrible! Sofa started peeling off less than a year of usage!
Should the company follows the Lemon Law? Less than 6 months?
