Dormanex Sleep Aid / Unauthorized Withdrawl

On Monday October 27 my wife filled out an online inquiry regarding this sleep aid product. They called within an hour to discuss her interest. When she said she wasn't interested in paying for the shipping, she was told that they would reduce the shipping to .99. I listened to her ask if there was any other charges, if there was any other money involved, asked if it was a club that was going to send products that we had to send back. A John Michaels assured us that this was a one time charge of .99 to try the product and that there would be NO other charges. By 9:00 p.m. My account had been hit for the .99 and an additional charge of $101.00 with no explanation. I have sent them a demand for reimbursement, I will update on this on Tuesday

I have diabetes and take several medicines for my disease and DormanexSR work better than any other natural sleep aid I have ever taken.     I too fell for the scam, I paid the $4.00 for shipping, they took out $100.00, then like the other complpaint, that money was returned to my account. Here is the real deal. They say it's a free gift. You get a big box in the mail, it even is wrapped up like a big gift, ribbon and all. So you think that's it right? Not. One day out of the blue, Bam they take another $160 out of my account. What they say is a free gift is not. I call the company and the woman informs me that if I would have read the terms and conditions I would have seen that bla bla bla, It's a scam people. So I say, okay, I'm sending this "gift" back. She says "Fine there is a $60 restocking fee"
    If the product actually worked I might have just let it go, but it didn't help me sleep at all.
    It's obvious they are just praying on us desperate people, who are just in search of a good night sleep. I wonder how they sleep at night knowing they are scamming people.

    Something to this affect also happened to me from this same company. I had no transaction with them but it seems that someone got a hold of my card number and a transaction posted to my account in September for a $.01 which I didn't notice and then in November my account was debitted for a wopping $159.35. I filed a fraud claim with my bank and was able to get their number from my statement and called the company, they promised to credit my account but never did and when I tried to reach them again you cannot get to speak with anyone. I am a computer person and tried to look them up on line and their website does not list an address or a telephone number, this tells me that they are not legitimate and they are a bogus company. Buyers beware.

    As a matter of fact they claimed they UPS a package to my home which I never received. They promise to verify with UPS, UPS came to my home and I told them I never received a package. I am sure they received the report from UPS but to this date the funds are not back in my account.

    I recieved a package of sleep paraphernalia which is inafective, I tried to cancel, called the phone number, but I was told to enter an account number which I didnt have and they hung up on me I cant cancel, my bank was no help, I am an old lady that was took adavantage of, I am so upset . I guess now I will have to close down an bank account I have had for 30 years, so much stress, how can they do this to honest people, I hope that they burn in hell . somebody please help

    I AM HAVING NO LUCK EITHER. I ORDERED DORMANEX AND WAS CHARGED 3.97 ON 10-8-2008 ON MY CREDIT CARD. NOTHING EVER ARRIVED. I MEANTIME REPLIED TO MY SHIPPING CONFIRMATION THAT I HAD TO MOVE BECAUSE HURRICANE IKE DESTROYED MY HOME AND THEY WERE DEMOLISHING IT. I GAVE THEM MY NEW ADDRESS. NO PRODUCT AT EITHER ADDRESS. ON 10-15 THEY CAHRGED MY ACCOUNT .01 BUT STILL NO PRODUCT. I HAVE TRIED THROUGH THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO GET A NUMBER TO NO AVAIL. THEY SAY IF I GET NO RELOLUTION THEY WILL REFUND MY $ AND GET IT BACK. THEY ARE BLOCKED FROM CALLING DORMANEX. (CHASE)ITS ONLY NOVEMBER 19 AND I STILL CANT SLEEP AND WOULD GLADLY BUY THE STUFF IF I COULD GET SOMEONE TO CALL ME...OR SEND ME MY STUFF. ID PAY $153 JUST FOR A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP. I HAVE AN 81 YEAR OLD ADVANCED ALZHEIMERS PATIENT IN MY HOME WHO GIVES ME A FULL DAY ALONG WITH MY OTHER OBLIGATIONS.
