    I purchased a number of automotive accessories for my vehicle from Putco and they have turned out to be substandard at best. After 2 months in the snow the door handles I purchased pitted (supposed lifetime warranty against corrosion) despite my best efforts to prevent it (weekly washes and polishes with chrome protectant). All of the other chrome on my vehicle is fine the only issue is witht he Putco products. I contacted a Jeff Feaker (1-800-247-3974 ext 328) in customer service and his response was that the product was discontinued and I had to take it up with the individual who sold me the product. He said "They took your money, not us. You need to talk to them." This is the type of company that needs to go out of business. Poor products, poor customer service, just an overall terrible experience.

    Had the same problem with mirror covers. They said there is a one year waranty on them, while their internet site says that they have a lifetime waranty as long as you own the vehicle. It's been 4 months now and no results. "DONT BUY FROM THEM OR AUTOTRUCKTOYS, which is the same company located in Paris, TN.
