Ordered a product from this website. They don't let you know they are out of stock on the item. I needed the item by a certain date, but they don't let you know they don't have the item and cannot ship it. When you complain that you haven't received the item, the only remedy they offer is to refund your express shipping charges. This is dishonest and keeps one from finding the product at a company that can ship it to you when you need it.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Terrible Service
I ordered some Shun Knives from them and the quality was not was I was expecting from such a "prestigious" brand. The blades were discolored and after just a couple of uses had chipped. When I contacted Chef's Resource about exchanging or returning them, they were very abrupt and quick to refuse to do anything for me. They referred me to the manufacturer and after contacting them (KAI USA) they told me I misused the knives and that the warranty wouldn't apply. I did nothing of the sort... I own other Japanese kitchen knives and never had any problems! I use a maple cutting board 100% of the time and always hand wash them. When Chef's Resource gave me a hard time about exchanging, it made me just want to return the whole set to them for a refund... but apparently they will not give me a full refund so I am stuck. Do not shop there.

Never shop here, my product wasnt in stock either. They said that nobody was going to have it in stock because the manfufacturer was out of the item too... well, that was not the case and i found it in stock elsewhere. If they would just be up front about it, i wouldnt have minded so much, but they lie and will say anything to get your business... very dishonest company.
