I'm not surprised by the plethora of low reviews here. I'm a new homeowner and just learning about HOA's. I naively thought that a "professional" management company would be aware of, and abide by state and federal law.
This property management company is horrific. In my humble opinion it must be run by crooks who have no moral values, character or ethics. They are notorious for outrageous fees, lack of willingness to work with the homeowner on fees and even charging the proper fees to the proper individual.
They treat people differently. They harass HOA Board Members to get there way. If you complain, they will send you notices for hearing and fine you.
My experience is exactly the same. Complain and they will actively retaliate. If they attempt to put Tom Markell or Nema Hashemi on your property, do everything in your power to prevent it. Better yet, just avoid this company all together.
You’re 100% right. Tom Markell is unethical and Nema Hashemi is extremely aggressive and rude because she’s not phokable.
