I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. I placed an order for a free trial of Acaipure and Colotox. All I was suppose to pay for was S&H which was $5.00 each. I had $44.85 and $45.85 taken out of my bank account for this diet product.

I phoned the company and was told I must not have seen the ad to the right of the screen which states you want the bonus product. They mark the "yes" box for you, so if you don't see the tiny little ad, they get you for more money!

The rep told me when I recieved the prodect to keep the sample and send back the things I disn't want and they would credit my account.
I ordered this on 11/10/08 and still have not recieved anything from them and they have NOT credited by account either. I can't get them on the phone or via e-mail. They say the phone wait is 75 min. or you can go to wwwgetorderhelp.com. I did both...no one answered the phone and thwy are not even on THAT web site!

This has got to be illegal! help!

I too have had unauthorized charges applied to my credit card. I also received unauthorized products along with the Acaipure diet product. Products I did not ask for. I was also charged an additional $39 for a "subscription" in which I received nothing (not that I wanted anything in the first place). I have contacted my credit card company to reverse the charges. Getting in touch with Acaipure is impossible. They deliberately have poor customer service so that the user will become frustrated with the 1 hour+ hold on the phone. Emails to the company have gone unaswered. I have requested an address to send back the product. But still no response.

I would suggest to anyone that has had charges applied to the card to either (minimally) request that your credit card company flag charges from Acaipure and dispute any existing charges. Better yet, change your card number by requesting a new card. Make certain that Acaipure is still flagged on the new card. My concern is that they have a lot of credit card numbers. What might they do with this information?

I have just read the post about Central Coast Nutraceuticals ripping people off. Too late for me as I am a victim of this ring. As it has been said I signed up for the $4.95 shipping fee for the free trial of this product that has been promoted by Oprah and other celebs. Unfortunately I did see the $44.85 price as I hit the send button, confused I immediately went to my online account and saw $44.85 being subtracted from my account.

I received a confirmation e-mail and I sent a message back knowing it was probably useless but I tried. I called my bank and I was told sorry it was approved. So yes this is a total scam and for the first time I have become a victim. So I hope the media will take this info and warn people before they make a lot of money of unsuspecting people.

I ordered a $4.95 free, trial offer of AcaiPure. It was stated all over the website that this was a FREE, TRIAL offer. All I had to pay for was shipping. Once I received the product, if I chose not to continue then I could cancel with no further obligation. Well, there is NO such thing as a free, trial offer. It is a full price, bill you later offer. The only way they won't charge you the $39.95 fee is if you return the bottle unopened with a RMA number within 14 days. My bank account was charged $4.95(shipping) + $39.95(full price of product) for this FREE OFFER a week after I called to cancel the product! What is so FREE about paying full price? When I called to complain, I did not raise my voice, but I told them I was not happy that my account had been charged after I had cancelled the service. It is only in the fine print, which I had read, but misinterpretted, that this is explained. It is about as clear as mud & in tiny, fine print at the bottom of the packing list when the FREE TRIAL offer is in huge letters all over the website. This is deceptive advertising. I was then told I was "blacklisted" from ever ordering from any of their affiliates because I complained & was not happy with the fine print. They had already charged my account, they had their money & yet I was "blacklisted" from them for calling to inquire why my account was charged for a FREE trial offer. I have never been blacklisted in my life, but if I must be blacklisted, it might as well be by a company of scam artists. Anyone who knows me knows that I am about as polar opposite of blacklisting material as can possibly be. So, with a lot of frustration I am being forced to pay full price for a clearly advertised FREE product. Their customer service schemes are just as deceptive as their advertising. I was offered a complimentary $15 credit for my trouble, not even half the purchase price of the product, & then less than a minute later that credit was revoked because I would not change my story that I was unsatisfied with the company. Go figure? Do NOT do business with AcaiPure unless you are intentionally seeking to heap frustration upon yourself.

i purchased acaipure online on 10-07-08 for the price of 5.95 for shipping and handling. i checked my account the next day and noticed a charge of 44.85 was on my account. my bank gave me the number to call. i called and spoke to kevin at acaipure, he got my name, zip code. i began asking what was the 44.85 for, he stated it was for two other products (water & appetite suppressant) that was added to the acai pure. he stated they just added the total amount together instead of billing each product seperate. i told him i did not order anything but the acai berry or acaipure, he stated i did because i did not decline it after i put in my payment information. i told him i dont care if i did not push the box to decline i did not order those other products and i want a credit done on my bank account he then stated he could not do that because the products as already shipped out. he also stated he was going to call my bank and let them know i did order the products and not to stop the payment. i told him not to call my bank he put me on hold anyway and came back stated the line was busy. he then stated, after a long period of arguing with him, that he would credit my account and for me to keep the products, when they come, for free. i told him i did not want any of their products for free or anything else, and don't send me anything.. this company is very deceptive and fraudulant. i know what i was ordering but they charge me for something else.

Scam scam scam
I was charged the original shipping of $4. 95. This company charged my credit card twice one time at 39. 95 then two weeks later $44. 90. I have tried extensively to reach them by phone. The automated service told me it was a 72 minute for a customer service rep. What a scam this company is. Oprah may be able to pay these types of charges, but i refuse. My credit card company is working with me now to make sure that when another charge is posted it is immediatley declined.
Do not order from this company!

Offer free trial and you pay shipping. Once they get youe card # they add extra charges for NOTHING! Also when you cancel your TRIAL membership they ask for an order # which you dont have and proceed to say they do not have you in their system, you must have the wrong company! I got the number from the bottle and went right back to the website I ordered the trial from. You never get ti speak to a real person. I dont know how to get out of this. I suppose I will go to the bank Monday for help! Dont get roped like I did! Jill

I ordered Acaipure as a free 30 day trial period, on 11/10/08. I received the pills 11/29/08, and my account was debited 12/05/08 for 39.95. I called and was on hold for 75 minutes ( guess they thought I would give up), I was told that if you order the free 30 day trial and keep it. After 14 days they debit your account. SO, NOT REALLY FREE. Of course I disputed it with my bank, and explained that this company is famous on [redacted].com for this, and they are freezing my account where it cannot happen again.

This compay is a scam. I order the 4.95 free trail offer and then there is a 39.95 debit pending to come out of my checking account without my permission. I called the 888 number today at least 6 times and was on hold for 141 minutes before I was able to sepak with someone. The operator was RUDE and SMART. She told me that I didn't read the terms and conditions and if I wanted my 39.95 back I would have to send in 32 pills and the package would have to be postmarked by this Thurs. Dec 4th, and if not I would be out of the 39.95. This is ridiculous. Hoe can they debit your account without permission, I thought that all I was purchasing was a FREE TRIAL. WE have to do something about this company. I only purchased teh trial because that stated that Oprah recommened it, I do not think Oprah would do this to people, at least I hope not.

Acaipure is a FRAUD. Both the company and the product. The company will keep billing you even if you cancel within the time alotted and return the product, which they do NOT tell you that you have to do when you call to cancel - it's buried in the fine print of their "terms".
As to the product, their website only tells the benefits of the acai berries. Products are required to list ingredients in the order of amount. Acai extract is the LAST listed of ten ingredients, therefore the ingredient of least concentration. One of the main ingredients is "cascara sagrada, " which should not be taken for longer than one week unless you are under a doctor's care. In fact, the other ingredients are all colon purges and laxatives.
So the Acaipure is NOT the health supplement it claims, but an unsafe colon purge.
Avoid it AND this company!

None of these were authorized.

I AM ALSO ONE OF THE PEOPLE THAT HAS GOTTEN SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY.!I RESPONDED TO AN EMAIL THAT WAS SENT TO ME THAT OFFERED THIS PRODUCT FREE TRIAL JUST PAY THE 2.95 SHIPPING FEE. I THOUGHT THAT IS A GREAT DEAL FOR SOMETHING THAT SEEMS TO BE SO WONDERFUL, WAS I EVER WRONG. AFTER 2W OF NOT GETTING MY FREE PRODUCT, THAT WAS TO BE DELIVERED IN 3-4 DAYS, I CHECKED MY CHECKING ACCOUNT TO SEE IF I WAS BILLED TH 2.95. TO MY SUPRISE THE 2.95 WAS NOT TAKEN OUT BUT INSTEAD 41.85 HAD BEEN TAKEN OUT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. WHEN I FINALLY REACHED SOMENE AT THIS SO CALLED COMPANY I WAS INFORMED THAT CHARGE WAS FOR THE GUM AND WATER THAT WAS INCLUDED IN THIS DEAL. I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT I WOULD BE RECIEVING THIS AND BE CHARGED FOR IT AS WELL. 41.85 FOR WATER AND GUM? IF THAT 'S NOT A JOKE. NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAD TO FILE A DISPUTE AGAINST THIS COMPANY AND HAVE HAD MY CHECKING ACCOUNT CLOSED OUT DUE TO CHARGES BEING TAKEN OUT BY THEM WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS TO ANYONE. I AM ALSO VERY SHOCKED THAT OPRAH WOULD HAVE HER TITLE ATTACHED TO ANY OF THIS.

I ordered a free sample online and was supposed to be charged shipping only. they charged my account $44.50, which overdrew my account. Now I got hit with a bank fee. I am afraid that they will keep charging my account. I have not received my "free" product. I will contact my bank to prevent any further charges.
Does Oprah know about these scam artists?

In March 2009 I did the same stupid thing as everyone else. When I learned how much they were going to charge me each month, I called to cancel. After numerous attempts, I did reach a very rude gentleman that said I should try the product and I certainly didn't have enough time to evaluate it. I didn't want it! Fortunately for me, I had to cancel that credit card and get another so they couldn't charge me any more. I returned the products but I don't have proof just as they don't have proof of receiving them! Now, I just received an email saying after numerous attempts to contact me and to try billing my credit card, I was sent to collection for $39.95. I informed her I was contacting my attorney and she said not an issue, contact my attorney and forward all email conversations and the original email she sent. Because I entered my surety code, I elecronically signed an agreement. They are now selling my information to a third party collection agency for refusal to pay and will be charged an ADDITIONAL $100 for processing and late fee making my new balance $157.95 and it will go on my credit report. Have a wonderful day she wrote! Now what do I do?

i ordered a free trial online (big mistake) and was never told about the 44.90 that i was being charged or for that matter that i would be receiving a bottle every month... I cancelled the subscription when the second bottle came. I sent it back and have never been refunded. I have called 3 times (which it sounds like everyone knows how long this takes) and i have emailed 4 times. I get the same automatic response every time that without a tracking number, they cannot help me. Every time i call they tell me to try back in a week. I am so mad about this! It's not even so much about the 44.90 as it is just the point of it all! I was scammed. I will never let myself fall for one of these ever again!

My piece of advise for all - always get a tracking number when dealing with these jerks!

I requested the free trial of acaipure paid the shipping and handling. From that point I have continued to receive a monthly shipment. Called the toll free number to discontinue the order after the thirty days. It has now been 3 months and I continue to receive packages. Last month I put RETURN TO SENDER on the package. They have not credited my account and yesterday I received another bottle of this junk. Could you help me ? Thank you for your time.

Offered free trial of natural cleanser for shipping only - they sent two other productas totaling 44. O return you have to contact them for a rma number - their phone lines are always busy - i waited one hour and 20 minutes to be put on phold again for twenty minutes. Finally receiving a rma number - i had to pay to ship the package back to them. Then i had a usps confirmation number claiming it was received but then you could not get through to make varification - phone lines were not working.

I ordered two products at a 1.00 trial period each. I was billed 44.85 and 45.85. When I seen this on my account I called [protected], spoke with someone they said I had 30 days to return the products. The day I received the products I mailed them back(refused from postman/return to sender). Then I received another package, I called the company, I also checked my credit card statement to see if I was credited from the first returns and I seen 3 more charges 38.95 and 39.95, and for the new package 44.90. From what I was told the first 4 charges I was billed, is the trial offer and other product I did not order. I will not get back any refund unless the products are returned within 30 days, I mailed them on Oct. 3 and today is the 27th. He said when you refuse an item from the Postman, that since its costing the Post Office money to send it back that they take there time and that my packages are probably still sitting at the Post Office. This is just there way of keeping your money. So when you send a package back make sure you get a tracking number and you probably should close your account out. If they do credit your account anything there going to charge you S&H and a 15% restocking fee.

When I called the telephone number listed on the bottle to complain about receiving items I did not order and complain about them charging me for these items, the yhung up. When I called back and tried to speak to someone about cancelling this order, the ysaid I had to leave my name and order number which I didn't have. I left my name & phone number, but the message said the answering machine wasn't operated by a human, but was done electonically or something. THIS IS A BIG SCAM AND SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT IT!

I have the same complaint as I just read on your first page. This company will not let you get to a person via phone to complain and they keep sending products, charges to my credit card and I can't get rid of them. I am shipping back (at my expense) the first package which has an exact same chage as the other customer said: $44.85 and then $39.95. I don't even know what the last charge is supposed to cover.
I will turn them in to the BBB also but really want to know how to stop shipments.

I was also misled by this company. I canceled my credit card today after being charged $29.95 last week by fit-fac.com, and $39.95 yesterday by Acaipure. I recommend everyone who participated in this to do the same today! Obviously, the website is set up to deceive those of us who believe the "system" would protect from this kind of scam! It obvious the emails suggesting these additional charges are clear on the website, come from the company or a representative. They are trying to protect themselves from a class action suit! I am working with a private source to see what action can be taken to revise the website and will keep everyone posted...

I received an offer on my website, it was for FREE 30 day supply of some wonder supplement. All I had to do was pay S/H of $4.95, and cancel within the next 30 days or I would get another 30 days worth charged to my credit card. When the package came they included additional 12 pc. pack of gum and 1 fl. oz. bottle of treated water and a receit for $44.85. They charged my credit card company for these additional items. I had to give them my card # to cover the postage and handeling charges to get the FREE 30 day supply. They billed me without even asking, and of course they didn't make any mistakes, They told me I must have made the mistake. It's taken 3 more days of calling to get RMA#, (Return Merchandise Authorization number) The supervisor said I would lose my dispute with them so I should just keep what I have because their not going to give me back any money. I was in touch with my credit card company and I'm disputing the additional charges they made on my card.
