Over 6 months I have had 17 appointments at Wheat Ridge Comfort Dental (7/18, 8/5, 8/14, 8/22, 9/13, 9/30, 10/13, 11/3, 11/4, 11/14, 11/21, 12/3, 12/12, 1/2/26, 1/8, 1/9, 1/13), all to get one new denture. After this complete fiasco, I finally picked up the denture today. In my opinion it is entirely unusable. The denture is very thick (after several attempts to get it right) so it causes excessive gag response. The rear edge of the denture is not flat against the roof of my mouth. The teeth appear as a significant overbite (my previous denture did not). While the tecnical assistants were very pleasant, the dentist was completely disinterested in my concerns.
Claimed loss: Because my insurance covered this denture, they will not cover another set at this time. Therefore, my loss is the cost uninsured of new dentures someplace else. Under No circumstance would I return to Comfort.
Desired outcome: Please respond to my issue so I can decide on any possible additional action such as contacting one of the TV consumer reporters.Thank you.
