In 2007 we selected this Comfort Dental as our family dentist. In 2010 I became suspicious of their billing practices when they charged me $86 cost share for a procedure that cost $80. The office did not correct this issue and ignored any communication I attempted to make so I went to another dentist. Shortly thereafter my family followed. On January 18, 2011 I filed a complaint with DORA for “Substandard Practice”, “Poor Communication”, and “Inappropriate care of a child client” who investigated this Comfort Dental. I was notified of the findings in a letter from DORA dated May 13, 2014. For possible legal proceedings, I requested the dental records for the three of us from our current dentist and made the discovery of your malpractice to the fullest extent. My son Michael had 15 fillings that you put in replaced! Kris and myself have lost fillings you placed in and it had to be repaired resulting in a root canal and a crown. Last but not least the “Cleanings” I received at your office were substandard and I required several deep tissue cleanings to name a few.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
