Over the summer my family and I were moved from El Paso, TX to Lexington, SC via a military PCS. In my over 20 years in experience with moves within the Army I have never experienced the nightmare that was this move. From witnessing movers literally pushing boxes down the stairs, to packers not coming prepared to complete packing, to the trucks arriving with not enough space, to the delivery. Delivery drivers informed us that what they had in the truck had been sitting outside their warehouse for FOUR days, four days of which it had rained for 3 of those days. Things that were packed were no longer in boxes, furniture literally crushed and destroyed and an entire crate completely MIA! Every piece of furniture I own was damaged in some way, that is what we actually received. After attempting multiple time to reach out to this company to simply have them look for the missing items, we were told, “Just file a claim.” I want my belongings! There are so many sentimental items missing! Antiques! And things that absolutely cannot be replaced! How can I put a price on these things? Just the things I have to claim due to this company’s negligence is approaching the $10K mark. This is just heartbreaking and 100% avoidable!
Desired outcome: Delivery of belongings that were never delivered.
