Cobb Luxury Cars Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc

Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc. is the worst car dealer ever. They can't even handle paperwork correctly. You go back the next day and they switch banks to give you a higher interest rate. On the first day, we had a 7.9 rate, but when we returned the next day, they switched to a different bank with a 14.9 rate. Avoid dealing with Ralph, as he will do everything possible to rip you off. In conclusion, it's best to stay away from this place.

Cobb Luxury Cars I traveled 7 hours for a deal that was supposed to be settled, but when I arrived, they asked for double payment and double the money down

I traveled 7 hours for a deal that was supposed to be settled, but when I arrived, they asked for double payment and double the money down. On top of that, they added an extra $10,000 to the final amount. The only thing that sets these guys apart from common thieves is that one wears a ski mask while the other wears a suit and tie. They just want to take as much cash from you as they can using their aggressive sales tactics. They even made disrespectful comments about my BLM hat that I was wearing.

Cobb Luxury Cars We bought a car and in less than a year we've spent over 3,000 on repairs

We bought a car and in less than a year we've spent over 3,000 on repairs. They told us the car was in good condition when we bought it but one month of driving it we had a bad gas leak and I have small children! Finally, after trying to call and being put on hold for 30 minutes with no response I go to the shop and Nassir helps to fix our car. He was the only one that was genuinely concerned with helping us. I would NOT recommend purchasing a car from this place. They are selling cars in poor condition and not one associate at the company seems to truly care about the customers.

Cobb Luxury Cars I didn't know what to expect when buying a car cuz there's so many stories out there

I didn't know what to expect when buying a car cuz there's so many stories out there. Not to compare one experience with the other but mine was a great move for me. At the beginning of the week I submitted an application at Cobb Luxury dealership; I was approved with a fair credit score. Steve made sure I was taken care of from the beginning to the end. I appreciate the professionalism I experienced with Steve. He made my experience a great one. I would def buy again and recommend people to purchase from Cobb Luxury. Lastly I was impressed with the amenities in the vehicle. Very organized. Thanks again Steve for an awesome experience!

Cobb Luxury Cars I test drived a car at this place

I test drived a car at this place. I wanted to make sure there was no problems with it. I didn't find any. Few days later I bought the car. Right away I noticed it drove different. The car started stalling in the middle of the road, making it stop. I contacted the dealer. He (the boss) told me to get the codes checked and call him back. I did that. I took the car to auto zone. I called back but he never answered. After a week of leaving messages for a call back, I figured out what happened. I was out $4,000 and still needed to fix the car to go to work, which needs a car. I have a monthly payment to make on a car that mostly doesn't work. It's pretty sad that people are getting taken advantage of during times like this.

Cobb Luxury Cars I didn't read ComplaintsBoard.com reviews before buying a car from Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc

I didn't read ComplaintsBoard.com reviews before buying a car from Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc. and now I regret it. The same thing that happened to other customers happened to me too. I bought a 2013 Ford Escape on 5/28 and it looked nice both inside and out. They told me it was a good car and the Carfax report was clean, but I was fooled. The engine is bad and they even turned off the check engine light before I arrived. Just a few hours after getting the car, the check engine light came on and the engine overheated. They say they can't do anything except hook it up to a machine to find out what's wrong. I'm considering taking legal action. I know they say there's no warranty, but they use that as an excuse to sell faulty cars. It's not right for a company to do that to hardworking people who earn their money honestly. I urge you to read ComplaintsBoard.com reviews and find a reputable dealer that offers a warranty.

Cobb Luxury Cars This place is terrible for business

This place is terrible for business. I applied for a credit app on Thursday, and they said my check stubs looked fake from my current employer. They told me to send in bank statements for proof of direct deposit, so I did. On Monday, they said they sent it over to the bank and I should hear something in the afternoon. I never heard anything, so I called back the next day for an answer, but still nothing. Today, I called again, and they said I need a co-signer with a bad credit score for a big loan. I asked them to show me where the bank stated that, but they said they can't. Also, my credit report didn't show where they ran my credit. This isn't my first time financing a car on my own, so I know how it works. I feel like they discriminated against me and didn't want to sell me the vehicle because they thought I couldn't afford it, even though I financed my own Infiniti three years ago. I financed my previous car for $13,000 with just myself, and my first car at 18 was $18,000, also signed by myself. They're just messing around and definitely sketchy. It doesn't take a bank long to make a decision on a finance loan. Definitely don't do business with Vernon. He hung up on me when I asked for proof of something. Everyone knows you should be entitled to know the bank's decision when they respond with information, especially when I'm the buyer who applied.

Cobb Luxury Cars This place is a rip off!

This place is a rip off! I bought a car from them with cash, it cost me 23 thousand and some change. They said the only problem was a jammed door, and if I paid 2700 more, they would fix it. I thought I could find a better deal elsewhere, so I didn't commit. I checked the car fax and everything seemed fine, no major accidents. When I picked up the car, I took it to a body shop to fix the door. But to my surprise, they gave me a list of other problems. They said the whole floorboard needed fixing to unlock the door, and it would cost 15k dollars. I went to Ford and they said the same thing, it would cost me close to 10k. I went to 4 different places, all with the same answer. I called Cobb Luxury again and asked if they could fix it like they promised. The salesperson said there was nothing they could do. They sold me a car that can't pass inspection, didn't tell me about the real problem, and refused to help me. After some investigation, I think they damaged the car themselves and didn't report it on the car fax. They must have taken it to a body shop and knew it would cost a lot to fix, but still sold it to me. The sales rep said they didn't have a body shop, which contradicts what he said before. They are terrible! Now I have to fight them legally because I've only had the car for one day and all the reports show bigger problems than just the door.

Cobb Luxury Cars These guys are thieves!

These guys are thieves!
I bought an Escalade there in May this year after shopping around for 6 months. When I showed up to test drive the car on my appointment it was not even there, the owner drove it home the night before. So I had to come back but I really loved the car.

When I went to test drive it they said "we just put a new battery in it." I test drove it 7 miles away and cut it off, it would not come back on. It died because they had not yet actually changed the battery so I had to wait on them to come get me. They replaced the battery at that point.

When I purchased the car I noted on the paperwork the AC was not working and one of the running boards neither. They said they fixed it. 3 days later it stopped blowing cold again. Its 90 plus outside and I have small kids. They do not care. Running board was ignored.

3 days after I got it the starter died and it shook terrible when up to speeds of 70 plus. They replaced the starter and did the brakes and rotors. Said they fixed the AC too. They just added freon. I had the car in there 4 times for the AC and each time they lied to me telling me it was fixed and kept just adding freon. I got a 2nd opinion and turns out the issue is the condensor which is like the most expensive part that could go wrong. One person told me they would have to send it to Cadillac cause their techs cannot do this work. The last person told me they ordered the part and that was over a month ago. LIES!

They did not pay off the car I traded in for like 10 weeks so money continued to come out of my account for that car. They owe me $585 and told me they were sending me this money over 2 months ago. They just keep saying the check is in the mail. They literally stole money from me. I was also told they miss-placed all my paperwork with my social security number, home address, and all other personal info they obtained during the sale.

I am getting a lawyer. Do not buy from these people. They owe me $585 and a $1200 AC repair and I will get my money. I played nice with them now for 4 months! I have email to back it all up. My AC repair is documented on their "we-do" sheet. These people are slime. I emailed them again over a week ago and still now word.

DO NOT deal with these people. It may seem they have some good deals but all you going to do is waste your time for months afterwards dealing with however they decide to screw you over.

Cobb Luxury Cars The ComplaintsBoard.com really needs to do something about this business

The ComplaintsBoard.com really needs to do something about this business... they are frauds, liars, and bullies. My brothers and I decided to purchase a truck for our lawn care business. We are all young, just starting out (18 and 22 years old), but focused and taking positive steps to secure our future by expanding our business with a company truck to pull our trailers. We went into the Cobb Luxury car dealership and purchased a 2018 Silverado 3500. We were asked to put $5030.00 down on the vehicle, and we did just that. We took money from our savings for the down payment. We financed it through the West Lake finance company. After completing all of the paperwork, we took possession of the vehicle. After driving away from the dealership twenty minutes down the road, the truck breaks down. We contacted Cobb Luxury cars, and their general manager, Mr. Sheehan, told us that they did not have any way to tow the vehicle back. So, if we paid the towing cost, they would give us a promissory note (which we have) to pay us back for the towing cost of $120.00. We towed the vehicle to the car lot, and basically, they told us that they could not fix the car. We contacted the finance company immediately and told them about the car and how Cobb Luxury motors were acting as if they were not liable for the truck. The finance company told us to return the vehicle, and we told them that the dealership told us that it was not an option. So, the finance company was surprised, and then they said that they can cancel the loan on their end since it had not been processed for payment. Once the finance company canceled the contract, they said that we were no longer contracted for that vehicle, and the dealership will need to return our down payment of $5,300.00 and the $120.00 for the towing fee. Well, of course, they refused to return our down payment and have yet to return the monies for the towing cost. Their suggestion to us was to trade the truck in for another vehicle on their lot. However, they will not get that much for the trade-in and may need to come up with an additional down payment... all this for a car that was brought 20 minutes ago. Of course, this was way over our heads, and we left the dealership and returned with our uncle and father. Not only have they been rude and unprofessional, the manager, Mr. Sheehan, said that we look like a gang and he felt threatened and refused to help us and told us we had to leave or he was calling the police. Why did he feel threatened? It was only 4 Mexicans who just happened to have very dark skin complexion, the same 4 Mexicans that brought the car, but now we look like a gang. We left and tried to defuse the situation by asking one of our brothers' Master Sergeants to assist us in trying to get our money back prior to hiring an attorney. When she went into the dealership to get a better understanding of how to handle the situation at the lowest level, again Mr. Sheehan was very disrespectful towards her and refused to give her the owner's information or his supervisor's information. He walked outside to call somebody named Dawn, she followed him out, and Dawn got on the phone with the same rude and disrespectful tone as her counterpart. So, this is clearly their standard operating procedures at this dealership... EXTREME BULLYING TACTICS. Dawn told her to have us come back in, and she will authorize us our money back. When we reported back the next day, Dawn sat us down and commenced to tongue-lashing us, telling us what we can and cannot do, and that she is only willing to give us $3000.00 of our money! At that time, we had 2 of our mentors on speaker phone, and they told us not to say one word and to get up and walk out of the office respectfully, and we did just that. We were not going to take anything less than the $5150.00. However, two days later, we received a repossession letter in the mail from Cobb Luxury cars stating an outright lie as if they were the original finance company and that they repossessed the vehicle after 20 minutes of driving a car that broke down on us after leaving the lot. And we finally had enough and will now contact the ComplaintsBoard.com, the local media, our congressman, and an attorney. We are also prepared to stage a friendly protest outside their business to bring awareness to their shady business practices when dealing with young, inexperienced minority car buyers and also expose the ComplaintsBoard.com for not taking appropriate action against this business because clearly they have had several car buyers with the same issues, and their rating is a 4.47, which is very misleading as well. Resolution is more than Cobb luxury cars writing a rebuttal to this complaint. The ComplaintsBoard.com needs to look at the paperwork and the facts. The repo letter was a direct attack for us not allowing them to bully us out of $2150.00. We worked hard for our money, going to school full-time and working through COVID for this dealership to steal from us. This is their responsibility. We would not be here today if the truck did not break down 20 minutes after leaving their car lot. Now we do not have a truck, and we do not have our money to get another vehicle. So, not only did they rip us off, they are hindering us from moving forward with our dreams to purchase a truck for our business. This cannot be tolerated! After reading other reviews, I saw the same type of complaint about a man buying a diesel truck that broke down when he left the lot, and they told him they don't fix diesel trucks... is this the same truck? It sounds identical! Why won't the dealership give you the owner's information? Why do the workers here at the dealership all act shady? Why do the employees here at the dealership mess up on their names? ComplaintsBoard.com, we are prepared to provide you with all of the recordings, paperwork, and witness statements. We will move forward with contacting the media to expose them for what they are: criminals.

Cobb Luxury Cars I recently bought a car from Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc

I recently bought a car from Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc. and I gotta say, it was a pretty good experience. The folks there were real nice and helpful. I put a *** down payment on the car and they worked with me to get a financing plan that fit my budget. The car itself is in great condition, runs smooth, and looks real fancy. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend checking out Cobb Luxury Cars if you're in the market for a nice ride.

Cobb Luxury Cars My daughter *** bought a 2013 Kia Optima on June 18th for $8300

My daughter *** bought a 2013 Kia Optima on June 18th for $8300. But guess what? The engine blew up in less than an hour! Can you believe it? And now they're telling us that they'll replace the engine, but we gotta cough up an extra $2800. Like seriously? My poor daughter doesn't even have a car to drive anymore. I mean, I know the law says they don't have to do anything, but come on, they're supposed to be a reputable business with a B plus rating. You'd think they'd be more helpful in a situation like this.

Cobb Luxury Cars The car I bought from Cobb Luxury Cars had a bad battery

The car I bought from Cobb Luxury Cars had a bad battery. I asked for help replacing it because it was already bad when I bought the car. But the company refused to assist me. They also can't get the title for the car, so I'm stuck making payments on a car that I can't legally own. I can't even get another temporary license plate. I want a full refund of all the money I paid and I want to return the car to the dealership. It's not that difficult. Why would a dealership risk their license over something so simple? Just take the car back and give me my downpayment and payments back.

Cobb Luxury Cars I bought a Dodge Ram 1500 from Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc

I bought a Dodge Ram 1500 from Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc. on July 23. I paid $3100 and everything seemed alright. The salesman, Anthony, was being very professional. However, just 3 days later, the truck broke down on the highway. They told me to bring it back to them so they could take a look. On July 31, I had the truck towed to them. They couldn't figure out the problem, so they sent it to Ed Voyles. Cobb Luxury said they would cover all the expenses. But since the diagnosis, neither myself nor Ed Voyles have heard anything from Cobb Luxury. They also promised to take care of my first payment, but that hasn't happened either. The solution I'm looking for is to have my truck serviced and for them to fulfill their promise of paying the first payment. I've been trying to reach out to them, but they either don't answer or put me on hold and never come back to the phone. It's clear that there's negligence all around here. Once they have your money, you're put on the back burner.

Cobb Luxury Cars I paid 3000 down for a truck that I was assured was in great running condition

I paid 3000 down for a truck that I was assured was in great running condition. I got off work early to meet Frank down there, who assured me that my truck was great. I drove it, signed my papers, and all was well. But not even 11 days later, the whole truck shuts down. I'm stuck on the highway, calling them to let them know what happened. I texted and emailed every person affiliated with that place, but no one answered or responded. I just got the car an oil change and a tune-up, and not even 24 hours later, the car is dead. My hard-earned 3000 is not something you just waste. The AC didn't work, the radio didn't work, and the sunroof didn't work - it's hot glued shut. After I signed the papers, he apologized for not telling me about the sunroof. The horn doesn't work either. Nothing on this vehicle was in good condition. He lied to me and told me he had a compressor put in right before I got there, but that's not true at all.

Cobb Luxury Cars I went to this used car lot to find a good running and working truck for my hotshot business

I went to this used car lot to find a good running and working truck for my hotshot business. They told me that the truck was good, showered carfax and everything. I test drove the truck, and it seemed like a great truck. I bought it and took the truck to Ram to get 3 recalls fixed. They pulled me to the side and told me that this truck had been deleted. This means deleting a truck removes or bypasses the diesel particle filter, the exhaust regulating system, and diesel emission fluids. Deleting a truck increases fuel efficiency by 20-30% while also making it more powerful and requiring less maintenance cost. Then they told me I'll have to pay *** to get it back to stock. It also means if I get pulled over by a DOT officer, I'll get fined up to $37,500 per day for significant issues and up to $7,500 per day for minor ones. I don't think this is right at all. I paid 44k for this truck. They should fix this problem asap and give my money back. I've been told it's illegal for them to do that.

Cobb Luxury Cars I bought a 2012 Audi A5 from Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc

I bought a 2012 Audi A5 from Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc. I traded in my 2008 Audi A4 with no problems. The car seemed decent at first, but halfway home, the check engine light came on. I spoke to the folks at Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc. and they told me to bring it in. However, due to my work schedule, I couldn't do so for a week, and it was a four-hour drive. I had the car checked by a mechanic and they said the repairs would be expensive. I talked to someone named *** at Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc. and they told me that I bought the car "as is." The car sat in my driveway for three months because I was unhappy with the situation. Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc. never sent me the registration, even though I was making payments for the car and insurance. Finally, I had to complain to the bank before they responded. They did send me some of the paperwork, but the tags were $200 more than what they sent. After getting the repairs done, the next day the check engine light came on again. I took it back to the mechanic and they said the car has major issues, including transmission problems that they couldn't fix. They referred me to the dealership, but Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc. has refused to help me any further. Now I'm stuck paying for a car that I can't drive or afford to repair. At this point, I would be happy to get my trade-in vehicle back. I even offered to give back the car.

Cobb Luxury Cars I bought a car from Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc

I bought a car from Cobb Luxury Cars, Inc. on 3/28/22. Before buying it, I asked about the check engine light and they said they had just replaced the catalytic converter. They turned off the check engine light before I left, but it came back on while I was driving home. I took the car to a mechanic and they said the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. I called the dealership a few days later to tell them I would have to pay $1800 for a problem they said was fixed. They said I was accusing them of turning off the light, but if I paid my first car note, they would refund me $266 (the car note amount) but couldn't fix the problem. I didn't follow up. On May 10th, my tag expired. I called the dealership and they said I had to go to the tag office. I went on May 17th and they said the dealership hadn't transferred the car to me. I called them and they said they would look into it and call me back. I haven't heard from them, so I called and left a message on May 24th and again on May 31st. I still haven't received a call back and my car doesn't have a tag. The check engine light is still on because the catalytic converter needs to be replaced.

Cobb Luxury Cars Frank *** lied to us to make his commission and sale

Frank *** lied to us to make his commission and sale. We had the car checked the next day, and a full inspection revealed $5k worth of problems that we were not informed of. At the start of the test drive, he said we turned on the car and right away heard a rumbling or cranking sound in the engine. We told him right away, and he said it was nothing, just because the car had to settle from not being used in a while. Even before driving the 1hr 10 minutes from home to get to the dealership for the test drive, we asked him how it was, and he said, "I just checked out the car and its in good shape. It's a solid vehicle, I checked it myself." However, the inspection report revealed that the rear shock absorbers, front & rear sway bar, front half shaft, valve cover gasket, crankshaft seal, serpentine belts and tension, and numerous leaks, like the transmission leaking, transfer case leaking, differential leak, and rear main leak, among other things, need to be repaired. If they are not willing or able to make repairs, we want a full refund! We have already alerted the finance company and will take legal action if necessary. We have made several calls since the purchase and the issues were discovered, and we have been on hold for 20 minutes. When someone finally answers, they just take a message or tell us that the manager or the salesman Frank Brooks just stepped out or will be back in 15 minutes or 30 minutes. When we call back during that time, we are told the same thing again. They are avoiding us. He did not want to sell us the warranty when we asked him about it on the day of the purchase. He said we wouldn't need it because the car was in good shape, but he knew something was wrong with the car.

Cobb Luxury Cars On 11/30, I got approved for Financing for a range rover at COBB LUXURY cars

On 11/30, I got approved for Financing for a range rover at COBB LUXURY cars. They sent me a car to test drive later that day. However, the car I wanted to see was not there. Instead, they showed me a 2012 Land Rover Range Rover with low miles. The Carfax report mentioned a minor accident, but they assured me that everything else was fine. The only recurring issue was a faulty hood sensor. They said it was a simple fix and promised to order and replace it for me. Since I was planning to go on a holiday road trip with my kids, I asked about a warranty to ensure I would be covered if anything went wrong. They quoted a price range of $[protected] for the warranty. I made a down payment of $3000 on the $20,000 car, knowing that I would need a couple of weeks to come up with the warranty money. I asked the store manager and another person how long I had to purchase the warranty. They both said I didn't have to get it right away, but I should make sure to get it within a certain timeframe.

Two days later, I drove the car from *** to Doraville, but on the way back, while driving at 70 mph on 675 south, the car suddenly stopped. I pulled over, but the car wouldn't turn back on. I called the dealership and informed the manager, ***, about the situation. He told me to find out what was happening and call them back. I had the car towed to my Land Rover Range Rover repair center, where they told me that they would need to take the engine apart or replace it. Either way, the cost would be over $8000. It's important to note that I have only driven 100 miles since purchasing the car on Nov 30, and it is now 1/21.

Cobb Luxury Cars On 5/27, my friend bought a Nissan Leaf from Cobb Luxury Cars, along with the warranty they strongly recommended

On 5/27, my friend bought a Nissan Leaf from Cobb Luxury Cars, along with the warranty they strongly recommended. Just two hours after driving off the lot, the car broke down and had to be towed to a repair shop. We had to wait almost two weeks for the Integrity warranty to decide if they would cover the repair. Unfortunately, they didn't, even though the folks at Cobb Luxury told us they would. The car cost $8800, and the electric battery was fried, costing over $10k to replace. We had to pay $275 for the tow and another $175 for the inspection at the repair shop. Since the warranty company denied the claim, we had to tow the car back to Cobb Luxury Cars.

While waiting for the warranty decision, my friend negotiated with them. He claimed that the finance company kept the deposit and said that if we didn't want to lose it, they would find a comparable car for us to consider. They even mentioned having "3-4 comparable vehicles in the same price range available for us to view." I took a day off from work to deal with this issue. However, when we arrived, there were no comparable vehicles set aside for us. They tried to sell us a 2016 Kia with 75k miles, but it turned out that it wasn't actually available. After about 30 minutes, they told us it was already sold. Then they tried to pressure us into buying a 2014 Kia with a cracked windshield and 115k miles for $10,600. I wanted to have the car inspected by a dealer or shop before making a decision, but they refused. I had to leave but agreed to contact them the next day.

That evening, I called Westlake to confirm that the loan for the Nissan Leaf was canceled, which they did. They also informed us that the dealer keeps the down payment. Later, my daughter received a copy of the e-application submitted for the car I didn't want to buy. We emailed Cobb Luxury Cars because the salesperson's e-signature was on that application. However, neither he nor anyone else has replied since 6/13 when we walked out on the deal they tried to force on us. All we wanted was a refund of the $2500 down payment we initially requested. I've been receiving calls from One *** for the 2014 Kia with 115k miles.

Cobb Luxury Cars I paid $26,485 cash for a truck for work at this dealer

I paid $26,485 cash for a truck for work at this dealer. They sold me a faulty vehicle, they lied about a warranty covering everything since day one. I had the bad luck of finding this dealer. They advertised a Dodge Ram 2015 for $22,500. As my old truck broke down I gather all my savings and credit cards to buy this vehicle so I would be able to go to work (construction field). I paid $26,485 in total on 11/28 buying this vehicle under my company name ABA 143 Solutions. The dashboard marked a couple of problems and they said they were just sensors and that everything else was working good, they fixed one of them and send me to another dealer to fix other one. The salesperson named Frank Collins also offered me a warranty (Integrity Silver Warranty), that would cover any problem since day one, he didn't offer different plans to choose from, so I paid an extra of $1985 for this warranty , just in case. After driving the vehicle for about 50 miles, the engine light turn on. It seemed they did a trick to have it off for a while just to sell the vehicle. I called, they never pick the phone. I took it for repair to an authorized dealer and the problem was the thermostat... conveniently the warranty didn't cover the thermostat so I had to spend $1001.73 to fix it, plus $526.27 in a rental car. I had to go in person to Cobb Luxury Cars, so I can speak with anyone, they said they have no control of what happen to vehicles after they sell them, but clearly they disguised defects in this vehicle to cheat on people, they sell faulty cars for a regular price and hide behind their "sold as is" premise. As they used that argument to avoid discussing a return of the vehicle, I requested the cancelation of the warranty purchased, it was on 12/23, that way I could cover the expenses for repairing the truck. It has been more than 30 days since I submitted the cancelation form in person at this dealer and I haven't got any refund yet. I contacted Integrity Warranty and they said they canceled and refund the money to them on *** 7th. I've tried to contact, the salesperson, the manager, but they refuse to take the calls and the receptionists are very rude and unhelpful with this matter. Now, the vehicle is showing transmission problems and I don't know what to do. I just need a resolution since I've spent all my money on a vehicle for work.
