I bought windows from this company on 1/11 and they installed them on 2/28-3/1. While they were installing the windows, I noticed some water on one of them. I texted *** and told him about it. He texted me back and said it would go away after a few days. But after they finished, I saw that all the windows had a lot of air and water inside, even more than before. The window on the stairway wasn't installed properly either. When I tried to open it, the whole window moved back and forth because it's the wrong size. Also, three of the other windows have big black spots. Some of the windows don't have caulking on the outside of the house, and most of them have dirt inside the panes. I called the company many times to let them know, but they kept saying the water on my windows was because of my fish tanks. I had fish tanks before I got new windows and never had this problem. Plus, I don't have any fish tanks upstairs, but I still have water on all the windows. This goes against what *** told me. They said they would replace the defective window on the stairway and the three defective windows upstairs, but they haven't done it yet and I haven't heard anything about when they will. I've called them many times about these issues, but they just keep giving me the runaround and passing me to different people. I called another company to come look at my windows, and they said the windows weren't installed properly. They're missing caulking outside, they weren't sealed correctly, and they weren't insulated. I tried calling the company again, but I couldn't talk to anyone and no one called me back. I've been trying to work things out with this company for over two weeks now. The windows I bought have a lifetime warranty, but it's only been a few weeks and I already have all these problems. The company hasn't fixed anything yet.

On 11/14, we made a deal with Coastal Windows to swap the shingles and sheathing on our roof. Besides the regular roof job, we hired them to strengthen the gutters around the roof and replace the decaying fascia boards at the back of the crib. The job kicked off on 12/6 and went on for three days, two more than what they told us, and they didn't bother to keep us in the loop about the extra time. Every day, the cleanup was bare minimum and sloppy; they left nails, roofing stuff, and random trash scattered all over the place whenever the work crews bounced. We spent hours picking up well over a hundred nails throughout the week after the job started. And get this, after the third day, those dudes broke one of the railings on our back porch without even giving us a heads up. On top of that, they never bothered to pick up the leftover materials stacked on a pallet in the driveway, so I had to haul those hefty shingle packages myself just so our tenant could park her ride. And guess what? The fascia boards were never replaced, and they're still begging for some TLC, even though it was part of the original deal. I reached out to Coastal Windows multiple times over the next four months to get them to fix the railing, replace the fascia boards, and clean up the shingle bits and other roofing stuff still chilling in our yard. Most of my messages got ignored, and the few times they did respond, they made empty promises that never came true. They told me to expect someone to swing by that week or that a crew would be dispatched, but each time, no one bothered to show up or give us a heads up. Finally, on 3/13, someone from Coastal Windows did show up and did a half-hearted cleanup, started fixing the railing (but didn't finish), and completely ignored the fascia. He said he'd be back later that week with the right supplies to fix the railing, but surprise, surprise, he never followed through. Since then, I've been trying to get a response about the work and even asked for a partial refund because they left the job unfinished. But guess what? I haven't heard a peep from Coastal Windows since 3/23.
