We decided to install air-conditioning in our home and called three companies, one being Coastal Energy. Angelo took the time explaining what was required to meet the comfort level we were looking which was very important to us. This made Coastal Energy stand out from the rest and sold us. Everything was done as he said it would, the staff was courteous, on time and very efficient. I have no problem recommending this company and will definitely use them for regular maintenance service.

Superb service on our new installation of gas furnace and air conditioner. The installers, Jake and Ryan were very friendly and so was the sub-contracted electrician, John Smith. The overseer of the job was very informative in doing the initial cost estimate. They also did a great job on the clean-up afterwards. We are very happy with our new installation and would highly recommend Coastal Energy Ltd. to anyone who is looking for a new or replacement heating installation.

Great service! So happy with our new heat pump, our estimator Angelo was professional, on time and very knowledgeable. He helped guide our decisions and even came back for second estimate to give us piece of mind that we made the right choice. The fellas who came to install were polite and super efficient with their time. They showed up on time, knew the product very well and had it installed an hour ahead of their predicted schedule. 3 days later I've already recommended Coastal to friends who also want a heat pump.

Very friendly courteous and efficient employees. Came out of this installation feeling very thankful to have Coastal Energy Inc do the install of the Heat Pump. Started with Becky in the office with her squeezing us into a cancellation through to Angelo who did the assessment for the quote and finally with Devon and Clayton doing the install of the heat pump. Professional and knowledgeable from beginning to end. Recommend to anyone. Would be willing to have our names given to anyone who wants to find out about this firm.

Coastal Energy was a delight to work with. Starting with the efficient and friendly office contact, appointments were absolutely on time. All their systems are online so super easy to pay invoices. The guys were also efficient,on time and did great work. The tech who booted up the system yesterday was friendly knowledgeable, and took a few extra minutes to teach me how to work with my new system. I have a really tall old house, So it really depends where you put that cold air most. Thanks guys! Super stoked for a cool summer

Apparently, I am like their 100th 5 star review so they don't need this... but they did everything right. Gave me a quick turnaround on a quote, even communicated an expected delay because our scheduled quote fell in the middle of heat wave. They came on time for installation day, communicated everything clearly throughout and it was easy to get everything paid for. The whole installation process was professionally done and they left the house very clean. We got clear explanations for using all of our new hardware and good follow-through on all of our questions.

Last year Coastal Energy installed a Fujitsu ductless heating/cooling system to service our upstairs and we were very pleased with the quality of the service they gave us and the quality of the product they installed. The installation was tricky since it involved some special routing of ducts to accommodate a remote location of the air handler. However Coastal Energy made it work and we now have heating and cooling on a previously unserviced floor. We were impressed by their follow-up to make sure we were satisfied, and the thoroughness of their annual maintenance on our unit.

Excellent from start to finish. I especially liked the Sales and Installation processes as I always knew where I was in the process and what to expect next. Every date given and each promise made was delivered as expected. The sales call was professional yet casual enough for me to feel comfortable. The installation crew were great. At the start, the day was laid out for me so I understood what was going to happen. Each member of the crew was kind, respectful and clearly knowledgable about the equipment they were installing. We are very happy with our choice of Coastal Energy.

We are very satisfied with our new, high efficiency gas furnace from Coastal Energy. The installers were courteous, and friendly and their work was high quality. A minor problem arose with a slight noise at the fan shutoff. It was not major, plus the problem was with the manufacturer, but CE went out of their way to correct the problem, even sending for a manufacturer representative at one point. We were very pleased with how they were intent on finding a solution and they eventually corrected the problem, always acting courteously and professionally. Kudos to the whole team at CE.

Out of four businesses called, Coastal Energy responded first, two did not even respond. One had a two month wait for repair on our Heat Pump. I called on Saturday and they arrived on Monday to assess the problem. They showed me the burnt out parts, explained what needed to be done, was respectful and non-judgmental, explained everything in layman's terms. By Thursday the motor came in and they replaced the seized fan motor, only replaced what needed done, I never felt taken advantage of for unnecessary work at all. Jay spent time, re-educating me on the use of the Heat pump at my request. Fast, courteous, respectful, and in the end affordable, which in this day and age is hard to find. Coastal Energy comes highly recommended by us through our experience.

After calling about the smell of gas in my house, Jay of Coastal Energy was dispatched to investigate the situation. There was indeed, a gas leak. After several hours spent looking in, out and under the house, Jay called for backup - he called them "the top guns". Jay assisted "the top gun" team and after further investigation, the source of the leak was found. It was determined that is was coming from an apparently illegally installed pipe. The problem was then quickly rectified and what could have been a very dangerous situation was averted. Jay was the first to arrive and the last to leave (around 7:45pm). Thru out Jay was calm, reassuring, low-key as well tenacious in his approach to solving my problem. I am extremely grateful to Jay and the Coastal Energy top guns' team. Thank you so much! We called Coastal Energy for a quote along with other HVAC companies. Coastal is the only one that stood out due to Angelo's knowledge and honesty in answering our questions. I did a lot of gas furnace research on my own and Angelo pretty much confirmed for me that I was making the proper decisions for our heating choices. I was so impressed with his advice and transparency that we decided to go with Coastal Energy. Our installation date is Halloween so I will update this review then. *UPDATEThe team showed up on time on the day of installation. I am very pleased with the furnace installation and the professionalism the Coastal team displayed throughout. They worked non stop till the job was done. They installed my Ecobee thermostat as well and helped me get it up and running. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. Thank you Coastal Energy!

I had a very positive experience with Coastal Energy. I went to three HVAC companies for estimates to install a heat pump. Coastal Energy had the best price by a considerable margin. We went several rounds on the quote, adjusting specs until I was happy with the proposal. Fujitsu's supply chain dried up during the pandemic and Coastal Energy could not source my gear. They sourced alternate heat pump models that were in stock and gave me the opportunity to re-spec my order again - at wholesale cost - to get the installation underway. The rooms that I wanted to heat and cool had exterior walls with big windows: no space to mount the heads. The solutions designer and installers are smart and flexible: they found ways to mount two heads on interior walls, getting better locations and aesthetics in the process. The installers were professional: fast and careful. They gave me the opportunity to weigh in on every change / compromise required for the installation. There were no surprises. I would use Coastal Energy again without hesitation.

From the start with salesman Angelo, Coastal Energy was impressive as I worked through the process of installing a heat pump in my condo. I had to apply through the Strata Council and Angelo assisted this process with specifications and advice. Once approval was given I put down a deposit and had to wait until Coastal Energy resumed installations because the virus restrictions and distancing. Once restrictions were eased, Angela scheduled and installation. The installers came on time, wore masks and gloves, practised distancing in my condo. Devon and Chris were a delight to work with. Their work was efficient, tidy, considerate of neighbours. They had to wait to coordinate their work with the electrician but when he came he was tidy, efficient and checked each step with me before proceeding. Devon then did a demonstration and checked the condo for any tools and garbage. Angelo called soon after to check that all had gone according to plan. Overall, a top notch project for me from start to finish. I have no hesitation recommending Coastal Energy to others.

I have been impressed with Coastal Energy's products and service. The Fujitsu mini-split heat pump system they recommended is ideal for my needs. The sales representative provided lots of detailed information, and responded to my questions thoroughly, accurately, and promptly. He was very patient with the strata council at my complex, and addressed their concerns, so that together we were able to work out a configuration that suited everyone. The installers were conscientious and tidy, and explained how to use the system with just the right amount of detail. I just had the annual inspection performed, and was impressed by the technician's care and attention. He gave me some good tips on maintaining the outdoor and indoor units, and on how to maximize the potential of the system. All staff -- sales, technical, and office administration -- are friendly, polite, respectful, professional, and respond promptly to customer's questions and concerns. I have already recommended Coastal Energy to two friends, who had systems similar to mine installed, and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC products or services.

Coastal stood out when I searched for home HVAC companies due to it's 5-star rating. But that wasn't from 3 or 4 reviews; literally dozens of customers raved in review after review. And, having just finished with their installation...I get it! From the quick turnaround on the initial quote (replace our original furnace, hot water to tankless conversion, adding brand-new air conditioner), details and explanations that were just one step more than the competitors, super responsiveness to questions, getting me a last-minute deal AND being really reasonable for cost, I knew ahead of time they would really good. And of course they showed up on time, they got right into it, they walked me through what they would be doing, and made me feel very confident in their expertise. When things went a little sideways with the installation (which is always going to happen to some degree when you have to run brand-new piping for an air-conditioner in a 25-year-old house!) they were professional and clear in their explanation, accommodating, and worked extra hard to still get done on time. It's easy to see why Coastal Energy has such great reviews; they work hard to earn them and offer great products at great prices. I will use them for ongoing maintenance and any future work I need, and I will definitely be recommending them to anyone I'm talking to about heating and air conditioning. 5 stars, absolutely!
