Cintas Corporation review: Beware of Cintas contracts

Beware of Cintas contracts! We signed on about four years ago to have rugs/mats serviced weekly by Cintas. During that time, Cintas raised the price for the same items - no changes in service or items serviced - by 266%! We contacted them three months ago to ask them to review our account. During our conversations and negotiations, they raised the price again (345% over the initial price), to over $10,000 per year for (2) 4' x 6' rugs, (2) 3' x 10' runners, and (4) scraper mats. The scraper mats are worn out and should be replaced. One of the runners comes back every several weeks smelling of dog feces. The company does not seem to care about the small accounts. We have needed to talk to three different salesmen and managers, with no progress to date. First of all, with salesman M Gerard, whose job was to convince us to purchase more products and services from Cintas, secondly with the manager M Lungrin, and thirdly with L Cora. We have told them what we are willing to pay . . . about double what our contract began with - which seems more than fair to us. Communication has been slow, their response time is slow (except when they remind us that we have a five-year contract), and any resolution seems well-nigh impossible. Beware! And save yourself the frustration.
