Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts

These guys are absolutely awful, fraudulent and incompetent! I ordered a personalised shirt on-line for a wedding with a 30 day turn around period, the shirt apparently got lost in transit and CT couldn’t offer a replacement in the timeframe, so I of course requested a full refund. They ignored my request and send a voucher, so I called them and explained I wanted a refund as I had to buy a shirt elsewhere and the date was missed. The customer service agent (who was very unprofessional and could barely hold s sentence together) requested my bank details and advised the refund would be in my account within 5-7 days.

This was over 3 weeks ago… I messaged CT to ask for an update, only to now be told we can’t give you a refund after-all as the shirt was a personalised shirt, without acknowledging the irrelevance of this as order lost!

Furthermore, despite spending hundreds of pounds, buying multiple shirts off CT over the years, the customer service rep had the audacity to reference an old order from several years back (and completely different address) which also got lost in the post, suggesting there a problem at my end accepting deliveries, again a completely different address for a order which again CT did not deliver, yes she was somehow insinuating the fault is with me, the customer. Pretty insulting…

You take my money 11th of June, completely failed to fulfil the order, then promise a full refund only to revert back to a gift voucher 23rd of July. What more can I say!

CT are not only incompetent and unprofessional, but it appears they are dishonest! Not great attributes for a retain organisation.

Quite frankly, you can keep my £79 as a good bye gift, because you will never receive my custom again, I share this review, through both frustration, and to warn others as to just how low the CT has dropped in standards.

I gotta say, I've had some trouble with Charles Tyrwhitt's shipping. I mean, I'm waiting on an order right now that was supposed to get here on March 3rd, and it's already been a week past that. And this ain't the first time, either. Last year, they sent me somebody else's order! They fixed it, sure, but I had to go through the hassle of sending it back myself. And both times, they couldn't even track my packages. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the quality of their shirts, but this whole shipping thing is just not cutting it for me.

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Ctshirts.com. I ordered a shirt from them about 42 days ago (order# wus***), but it never showed up. I tried contacting their customer service a few times, but they were pretty rude to me. It felt like they were doing me a favor by even talking to me.

After a lot of back and forth, they finally offered me a replacement shirt or a refund. But honestly, it was just a huge hassle and I didn't want to deal with them anymore. I mean, why should I have to wait 40 days for a shirt that never even arrived?

I'm definitely not going to order from them again. It's a shame, because I've heard good things about their shirts, but the customer service was just terrible. So if you're thinking about ordering from Ctshirts.com, I'd say stay away. There are plenty of other places to get nice shirts without all the hassle.

I gotta say, I've had some pretty bad luck with Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts. I've made two orders with them and both times, things went wrong. The first time, they cancelled my order right after I paid for it. They blamed it on some middleman or something, but they promised to give me my money back in 3-5 days. So I went ahead and made a new order, paid again, and got a message saying that my order was on its way. But guess what? It's been over a week and I still haven't gotten my money back for that first order. And to make matters worse, I got another message saying that my second order was cancelled too, because apparently there was a fire in the warehouse or something. So now I'm out of money and I don't even have any shirts to show for it. Honestly, I'm thinking about going to the police and reporting these guys for fraud. It's just not right.

I gotta say, I've been a fan of CT shirts for a while now. They always looked so sharp and felt like they were made to last. But my last order was a real letdown. I decided to add pockets to my 5 shirts for an extra $15, but when they finally arrived, they looked like they were made by a blindfolded monkey. The pockets were all puckered up and the material felt like it was made from recycled plastic bags.

I was so bummed out, I called up their customer service to see what could be done. The rep I spoke with was nice enough, but all they could offer was a full refund if I sent the shirts back. So I did just that, and waited for my money to be returned.

But instead of a refund, I got an evoucher for future purchases. What the heck is that supposed to do for me? I called back to ask for a refund instead, but was told that wasn't an option. I felt like I was being misled and that the company wasn't standing behind their promise.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with CT shirts this time around. I hope they can get their act together and start delivering the quality and service they used to be known for.

I recently got myself some chinos from Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts (ctshirts.com) and I gotta say, I was pretty excited to try them out. I mean, who doesn't love a good pair of chinos, right? So, last weekend I decided to wear the British green pair for the first time. I went to button up the button inside and to the side of the fly, and what do you know, the button fell right into my hand! I was pretty disappointed, to say the least.

But that's not all. I also bought two casual shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts, and when I tried them on, I noticed that the sleeves were different lengths on each shirt. One shirt had sleeves that were 3 cm longer than the other! I decided to return the blue shirt to be altered, and now I'm just waiting for it to come back.

Now, don't get me wrong, I've been pretty happy with the clothes and service from Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts so far. That's why I was willing to let the first mishap "go through to the keeper", as they say. But the shoddiness of the poorly sewn button has me questioning the "final check" before dispatch. I mean, come on, guys, you gotta do better than that!

I'm not sure if I'll buy from Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts again, but only time will tell. I really hope they step up their game, though, because I do love a good pair of chinos and some nice casual shirts. Here's hoping for the best!

I tried to place an order online, encouraged by the £30 discount voucher Tyrwhitt had sent me.. I tried to find out where I could insert the discount code so I could complete my order of 4 shirts; it was not there. I contacted the online chat person, [GuGu I think]. She insisted that the box was there at the payment point but could not locate it for me. She then insisted that the Liberty Print shirts I had included in my order were excluded from the offer but despite my questions could not tell me where this information was given. She then gave up on me and told me to telephone the customer line the next day which I did.

When I eventually got through I had to tell the whole tale before my order could be completed

I have been a very loyal customer over the years but I'll have to think carefully before I place another order.

I have been a longstanding customer of CT for a number of years. I have around 15 shirts + bought from yourselves along with other accessories such as gloves, cufflinks, scarves.

However I have noticed the quality of your shirts have diminished considerably which is concerning. Specifically, I have 2 shirts which are completely unusable now as the crease marks are so extreme that no level of ironing can keep them crease-free.

Yes, notably these 2 shirts are not non-iron, but this should not mean that a simple iron can't solve the problem. I would expect a much higher standard of quality from yourselves.

I have taken these 2 shirts to one of your stores and the staff refused to accept responsibility saying 'it is over 6 months' and that 'it says on the label it is not non-iron'. To me, that suggests that CT accept that their shirts that are not non-iron are prone to being permanently creased which is very concerning.

Also, I have noticed the leather gloves are loose at the back and in comparison to TM Lewins glove range, are seriously lacking (these have a button or strap at the back to enable tightening).

In conclusion, this is a very belated complaint as I have not had the time. I am prepared to drop the gloves complaint if the shirts matter can be addressed by some form of compensation. Otherwise, and with regret, I will no longer be shopping at your stores and will advise my network of the same.

Yesterday I went to Bicester village to get a competitive price on a waistcode, SUW0003NTL4TR which I ended up buying for £99 (with a 10% discount because it was marked). I then looked on the website and saw the same waistcoat at the same price! I though that bicestester village sold last season items at outlet prices which is why we went there to visit your shop. We live in London and had to pay both fuel and use a day of our time when we could have bought the same item at the store up the road for the same price. I'm looking for something by way of compensation for wasting our time. There was no sign in the Bicester store saying it was the same as high street prices and its very misleading when Bicester Village is known for outlet pricing.

on the 9th of September, I went to their Regent street store and the staff that served me at the counter was not only rude when I asked her to double check that she had accounted for all items correctly but also she didn't use my voucher of 20GBP and charged my full price.

This morning I looked at my receipt and realised that she had literally just kept my voucher and bullied me into paying full price. I am going there today to return the items ask for a refund and never go to Regent street store again.

I received a defective shirt from www.ctshirts.com. I contacted customer service and told them that my shirt arrived dirty and asked them to send me another one. They said that they cannot accept the defective product back and said that I can solve the problem myself by just washing the shirt. These guys are beyond ridiculous! I demanded a full refund but they said sorry will not happen. I regret the day I found this site and ordered from, the worst company I have ever deal with!

I bought jeans from www.ctshirts.com, and the seller stated that his production was authentic. He replied to all my emails, but after I ordered and paid for it, the seller didn’t provide any confirmation info as well as he stopped to reply. I sent multiple emails, but no response. I have no idea what to do now. Maybe someone has any idea how to track this seller and return money back, please contact me then or leave a comment. Thanks.

I received a catalogue from Charles Tyrwhitt in November with what seemed to be a great promotional offer on mens dress clothes. I placed my order online on November 22, 2010 and, to date, I still have not received the shirts, ties and cufflinks that I ordered.

Near the end of December, a customer service rep assumed it was "lost in transit" and placed a new order order of nearly the same clothes in the original order (leaving out one shirt without telling me). The order still has not arrived. Of course they charged me for the complete order way back in November minutes after the order was placed.

Numerous calls to customer service reps are fruitless. Stock answers about weather delays and security checkpoints continue to ring hollow. It seems as if I've placed an order in 1779, where a boat would cross the Atlantic and, due to high seas and storms, take months to arrive.

I would recommend avoiding this company. I have wasted so much valuable time trying to track down my order and complain to this company. There were also issues regarding the professionalism and knowledge of the customer service representatives, but I think you all get the picture by now.
