For over a decade we have held a home warranty. Cinch has increased policy cost and deductible, 100%. We used Sears for an ice maker that failed again less than 6 months after replacement. For the last 4 years, we have had the same issue, per technician, "You have a coolant leak. We repaired it and charged with freon." Each summer, the issue remains and we are told the repeated story. This final and 4th summer, our technician stated there was no leak, the pressure was good but was told to fill with more than 4 pounds of freon and charge for it. I spent well over 2 hours between Sears Home Services and Cinch with neither accepting responsibility, giving a refund or understanding how they were ripping people off. We will not use either company again as they have made it clear that they are conning us.
