I lost my at Laguardia Airport. My Find My app noted it's exact location. I had to catch my flight and didn't have sufficient time to track it down. In spite of reporting its general location in the airport and many other details to Chargerback.com. They do nothing except act as a protective buffer for airlines and airports that don't want to be bothered with lost items. There is no phone number, no chance to speak to a human, no way to call LGA, and no significant updating. Chargerback repeats the same tired, rehearsed script to anyone who complains about their useless service. Note that they never explain EXACTLY what they do to find your lost item. They just wait a few weeks then close the case. Make sure that your devices have every conceivable security feature activated. Then, at least a bad actor can't easily use them.
Again, my experience with chargerback.com indicates that it is a USELESS, anxiety provoking waste of time and effort when it comes to actually FINDING lost items.
