I have monthly charges of $ 9.77 on my Visa credit card from the website Cci*care.com, and I don't know what this is about. I don't remember signing up for a membership, which has been happening since October 2021. However, I also have a charge of 5.42 dollars in September 2021. It seems to be that, since I hadn't realized about it, and it was a small charge, this scam continued adding amounts to my account until today. This gives a total, according to my calculus, of 112,89 dollars. Can I not recognize these charges and suit this company as fraudulent? Is it possible to recover this money?

Found that I had a $74.85 charge to my credit card and then I looked at it and have been happening every three months for the past year or so for total of seven charges totaling just over $500. I’ve been charged interest by my credit card company on this and finally got a hold of them. They claimed it first that there was only one charge and then I said no you need to keep looking and they went back every three months and it came out to a total of seven times. Make sure that you and you talk to your credit card company. Make sure that they go back far.

I went on Care.com back in 2018 to look for a nanny. The one and only nanny that I sent a message to showed as viewing my message but she never responded. I eventually forgot about the request and NEVER considered Care.com again, ever. Fast forward to July 2023, I show to have an $89 charge for membership. I was shocked and thought this must be a horrible mistake. After looking at the account that I signed up for FOR FREE, it looks like they switched my account to a premium membership which I did not approve or sign up for and they've been charging me every 3 months since 2018. I'm absolutely blown away and have never experienced something like this before. They have no direct number to speak with anyone and after going back and forth with an online, text rep...I was advised that they don't issue refunds. I've spent thousands I had no idea of and they aren't willing to do anything. I never signed up for this. I want a FULL REFUND!

Please don't sign up for this company, they don't operate with integrity!

Twice I have had issues with Care.com continuing to bill me after I cancelled the service. Shame on me for going back the 2nd time. I can confirm now that it is systematic on their part. After I cancelled two months ago I continued to be billed $43.99 a month. When I asked Care.com to at least give me back the $43.99 they charged me YESTERDAY (for the upcoming month), they said "we cannot provide refunds for costs that you have already incurred". What a bunch of thieves, mostly taking advantage of parents.

I went on this website to look for a housekeep in July 2022. I never hired anyone or authorized them to take any funds form my card. I just noticed, that they have been billing me 56.85 every quarter since July 2022. When I contacted them for a refund, they said they do not refund. i contacted my bank to dispute all charges. I want all of my funds refunded back to my card immediately

Fe 22- Nov22 every 3 months Care.com removed $59 from my Credit card. I saw this site for pet sitting Care.com out of Vancouver. I looked at it. Later I found 4 payments made by me to that company when I never signed up for it. It is absolutely a scam. I see absolutely no way to contact anybody to complain. They say just take down your profile. But then they still have my credit information... Scam.

I received a charge on my card for $20.54 this morning. I have not been active on Care.com in a very long time, nor have I signed up for any paid membership. I logged into the account and it doesn't show any subscriptions so I don't understand why I am being charged. I did a background check a long time ago when I first opened the account and wondered if that has something to do with it, but from my account, I am unable to determine that.

I supposedly have an account at Care.com for recruiting teachers and enrolling parents. I cannot get hold of a person nor can I access either account. I am paying $225.00 per month and have been since July 2022 with zero results. There is no active number to reach a live customer service representative. When an email is sent there is no response. When I go on their website and their linkedin account there is a lot of activity showing yet no one again to contact directly. Terrible company.

I got an overdraft in my bank account on 10-20 — 2022 that came from CCI. care.com in the amount of 18.99 for recurring payments in this amount from card ending in 5994. I have tried to reach someone about this to no avail. I have tried calling the number provided by care.com [protected] which does not allow you to press 3 immediately as website states. Went to chat room for help and was told follow some props to log in. After entering some information on resetting account one page asked to put credit card on file for 1 dollar which would be reimbursed back to account. It was showing error with care and then received a phone call from my bank stating someone had tried twice with card I had just put on file for 46 dollars back to back today as I was trying to get help. Someone is tampering with my cards trying to get money from my account. I want to know why most of my information has been deleted from my account. Why have all in box information gone as well as my referrals. I need to know how to get back in my account that I have had for several years without any problems until someone tried to go into bank three times with out authorization. I want to know what care.com can do about my account information.

Yea I'm not sure why I keep having charges try to come thru on my cars. I paid a one time fee to dona background check like a year ago. So I shouldn't have any other charges attempting to get withdrawn from my account. Luckily I didnt have the $20 only account for y'all to take. Then I locked my card so now neither one of us can access my account. THANKS ALOT! I highly doubt y'all will pay the $5 feebfor a REPLACEMENT CARD because I have to get a new card otherwise y'all won't stop charging me until u get the payment UNLESS y'all cancel whatever it is thats trying to get money from me. I haven't used care in a long day ime. I have no idea why out he blue I'm getting charges. Please cancel whatever it is. Please. Thank you.

How come nothing is done legally on that scam its been going on for years. We should do a collective pursuit or make that company close or at least change the automatic paiement . Its terrible that the scam is under caregiving , so many people really need that money for care why cant they close that scam or make their automatic paiement off , theres too much complaints there.

I use Care.com to get jobs.. just got a charge of $35.94. What am I to do?

The account with CCI was closed in December 2020. CCI has continued to charge my card for the past year. Cannot go back to my account as it was closed and it will not let me log on.

A recurring charge is on my debit card on the 28th of each month for the amount of $38.95. The CCI account was opened under Matthew Tainter using my debit card.

I've been charged twice by this company [protected] MA)), Jan 19, 2021 and Jan 19, 2022, each for $14.99. The company is calling this charge a 'background check renewal.' I have never received any work referrals from this company. I have attempted to close my account, but the only web page allowed is the subscription renewal page; no other options forward. There is no path to my profile, so I can't cancel whatever scam I have found myself in. I have contacted my bank for legal remedy.

You've charged $38.95 to my account (Sarah Stueckle) after I already deleted account in October. I want you to refund the money and take my name and details off of your system.

I have been charged $13.85 monthly since 12/20 and have no idea what it's for. The number on my statement is 737-2023114MA. I will check with my bank to see if any amount had been charged earlier. I've been being charged for 2.5 years of quarterly payments (without notification of the charges). I signed up for a 3 month special and was continually charge for over two more years until I found the charges that were being made due to a new financial app.

Trying to find a way to cancel is an extreme challenge to find. Automatic charging is not a courtesy, it is simply another form of fraud. It needs to be an opt-in feature rather than a hidden add-on.
