I got a loan from this company and it was a nightmare. They never returned by calls or kept me up to date about my loan. They delayed my closing by five weeks. The sellers were annoyed with my agent. Every time I called they would tell me that I would get the loan soon, but it went on and on. I finally told them if I don't get the loan by a certain date I would drop the entire loan. It was a horrible experience and I wish it upon no one. They do not care about their customers at all. They treat them like crap. Never ever use this company for any time of loan. They do not care about anything but the money. I had a lot of stress with this company...
Fraud and lies to consumer!
We were called on the phone and they offered us to make a payment over the phone with them waiving the $15.00 fee. I then received a letter in the mail stating that they charged me $15.00 anyways. They then refused to refund our money to us and decided that they would remove $15.00 from our next payment after fighting for over 15 minutes on the phone! They...

Carrington Mortgage is a nightmare to deal with. They have returned payments made through my bank account without notification or explanation, offer no help whenever I have called them, and charge up to $30 to make a payment. Additionally, because of not being aware of the returned payment (my own fault for now checking my account more often), my account is behind and they require me to use Western Union to make payments - costing $80 per month). This is ludicrous. I was laid off last year, and have since become permanently disabled by MS. I am trying to hang on, but feel like there is no one willing to work with me.
My mortgage was sold to Carrington in April of 2015. Every month since then I have had problems with them. The first problem came when they my homeowners insurance was cancelled because Carrington did not pay them out of my escrow account. Every month that I have tried to log in to pay my bill it tells me that the username and password is wrong, which also forces me to have to take tine out of my day to have to call them and deal with this matter for several minutes, sometimes hours. My latest problem has been them not being able to process my payment through my bank. I talked to a very rude customer service rep by the name of Shila, who told me that the reason it's not coming out of my account is because the account doesn't exist or I don't have any money. She continued to tell me that I've called several times about the same issue and she's going to put a note in the computer for other customer service reps to tell me they can't help me! I have called my bank several times and the problem is not with them. The people who represent this company is very rude and I would not recommend them to anyone!
Carrington took over my home mortgage in November 2014. Since then it has been nothing but problems. They didn't send my tax interest dividend. Had I not called, I never would have. The rep said they wouldn't have figured that I paid enough interest in 2 months to need it sent. I have always paid my house payment online. I have only been able to do so with them a handful of times. It keeps telling me my password isnt right so I call and spend 30 minutes getting it reset. The first time I thought maybe it was my error. The second time I thought I just typed it in wrong. By the third time AND customer service "encouraging" me to pay via phone for just $10 I finally gave up. Now they don't send me my pay requests/bills. They are late or don't come at all. Customer service always apologizes but I feel like the free online doesn't work so you call to pay which costs money. Or they don't send your bill so you have to pay a late fee. They just feel crooked to me. I've now written my own letters and my own envelopes to pay my house payment monthly so I can stop the madness of begging for them to fix it. Horrible. Please give me bay citimortgage!
They have been horrible to deal with. So many illegal and wrongful day to day handlings. I am currently in litigation with them and my attorney would like to talk to you, please help me.
