This company is my fav for windows and doors. They do a pro job and the quality is awesome. I use them for my crib and the projects I do. I've never been let down.

I had a grate experiance dealing with Capitall Windows. The windows seem to be of excelent quality and the installation crew was polite and efficient. They really know what they are doing and I am glad that I chose this company to work with on my project.

The door looks good, but it started squeakin' right after they put it in and it wouldn't lock right. I called 'em a bunch of times, even tried reachin' out to the big boss, but no one bothered to get back to me. I wouldn't recommend this company 'cause they don't give a darn 'bout helpin' ya after they've installed their stuff.

We hired Capitall Windows Inc. last June to install new windows. We were real impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. We been real satisfied with our windows since last June. It was a pleasure working with *** and his team. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Capital Windows to any prospective client.

I wanna say thanks to Pete, Erik, and Joey for being so professional and helping me out with my windows and doors. They did a great job and fixed any problems I had later on. The cool thing about Pete is that he doesn't push you to buy anything. Their prices were the best I found in Ottawa/Gatineau, and they even give you a 30-year warranty.

Capital Windows is the best! They gave me awesome service, a really good place that helped me a lot and made everything happen super fast and stress-free. And the price was way better than the other quotes I got. I'm so happy with the results and the high quality they provided. The owner and staff are amazing! I totally recommend them.

The front entry door is nice and professionally installed. What's really weird is that they told me I could pay with a credit card for up to $2k, but when it came time to pay, they said they don't take credit cards. Eventually, they agreed to accept it, but it's not common for a company, big or small, to not take credit cards. I guess they must have their own reasons.

Capital Windows put in our front door in July . We was real happy with the install. Now it's 2021 and the frame 'round the window of the door got cracked. Capital Windows answered my call real quick. They ordered the part (took 6 weeks like they said). I did have to bug 'em a few times, but they showed up when they said they would and did a real good job. I'm REAL happy with the service and the warranty. I'd shop with 'em again. Thanks, Heather D.

I got my windows put in by this company in July . The guy who sold them to me was alright, but things went downhill from there. The people they sent to install the windows were really rude and didn't want to work together. Turns out, they were just subcontractors. It was a real struggle to get them to do what they were supposed to according to the contract. And to top it off, not long after the installation, I noticed some problems with a few of the windows. I let the company know right away by sending them some pictures. I've tried reaching out to them multiple times, but no luck. They haven't done anything to fix the issues yet, and now winter is coming.

Sorry for my long email...here is what happened... I called Capitall Windows to get a quote for my broken basement window beginning of July . A guy came the next day and gave me a quote. Then someone else came within a couple of days to take the measurements. August , I called to ask about the window if it was ready. The same person who took the measurements came to my house to replace the window. He didn't have any tools with him and asked for a hammer and screwdriver. When he took apart the frame, he used my gym floor and left a few marks damaging my floor mat along with small broken glasses on it. He couldn't install the new window as it was too thick (wrong dimensions). He put everything back and left. That same person came back a few weeks later to try to replace the window again. As I watched him, I got annoyed and told him he was causing more damage to my floor mat...he knew I was not happy then. He asked for a utility knife to change the window. As I watched, I told him that the window was too thick and wouldn't fit. He kept saying no and tried to install the new window into the frame, but it wouldn't fit. I was right. He put the broken window back into the frame and left. Leaving the utility knife open on my leather chair. I called Capitall Windows right away to complain about his service and how unhappy and frustrated I was. The lady couldn't find my file and said she will call me back. She did the next day and said that there was nothing they could do for me for the basement window. I said after all that trouble you are saying that you can't fix it? And she confirmed the same. I was fuming. I called another window company and told them about my experience with Capitall Windows. The next day they came to look at it and used my garage to take measurements and he had his tools with him. Their service was professional compared to Capitall Windows. Within 4 weeks the window was changed without any further issues. Even the boss of the other window company came to assess the situation after everything was done to ensure I was satisfied, which I was. In conclusion, Capitall Windows failed to do the right thing here and did not listen to my complaint at all when I called. They did not care at all and I am not shy to share that experience with others. I was very disappointed.

I ordered my new front door and 4 windows in August . I don't know why or how, but they didn't have my windows and door ready until mid-November . Worse, they showed up with the wrong-colored door and double-glazed windows instead of triple-glazed. The two installers damaged the front of my house while installing the windows but never told me about the damage. I discovered it after they left. The work was sloppy. The caulking was horrible and showed no care or finesse. Who caulks over ice and dirt? The windows were all drafty because they didn't use enough foam to seal the edges. I also had faulty hardware on the windows and had to call/message 6 times before the owner switched it. The same install crew returned in December to give me the right door and replace my windows. I thought I just had bad luck the first time, but their second visit confirmed their neglect for craftsmanship. The door moldings were obviously short but got covered up with caulking. Again, nobody told me. I found out about the problem later. The wiring to my doorbell was carelessly cut off during the old door removal, but nobody told me until I noticed a different fat wire sticking out of my door. The caulking on the base plate went over dirt again like the windows. They could have vacuumed the area before applying caulk. Changing the double-glaze to triple-glaze was a joke that I will never entertain again. I was too kind to let them put in the wrong windows in the first place. The switch-out for the triple-glazed involved a lot of banging and did some damage to the weather stripping. Three days later, I noticed all the vinyl frames where the panes were replaced had been cracked in every single corner. My front door also no longer opens or closes smoothly; it catches on the edge of the frame. To top it all off, they installed a new lock on the front door that was loose the next day. I came home from work thinking my home had been broken into. After reinstalling the lock myself, I found out that some of the hardware in the lockset was not used. In fact, the installer advised me that I didn't need them and I could throw them away. But I kept them just in case. And thank goodness I did. The worst part is that the installer told me he puts in at least one lock per day. I feel horrible for those whose lock he had installed. Nine months after the initial estimate, I have no proper windows and a door that is no better than my old one. And I don't know what else could be damaged or missing from the installation. I am dreading the next visit, which is supposed to rectify the ordeal that I am going through with this so-called "A+" company. I am contemplating legal action. Buyer beware.
