I would like to report an incident that occurred at your Caltex Riccarton branch My vehicle - SUZUKI UZ50, plate number C1RDA

Since my scooter was all empty, and this pump was on my way, I visited there to fill petrol in my scooter around 5:10 PM on 18/03/2024.
I parked at pump 4 to fill it. I checked the meter before I took out the gasoline pump, and it was sitting at zero. Then, I took it out to fill the tank, but despite waiting, not a single drop of petrol came out of the machine, and the reading was still showing zero. I then went inside the gas station store to speak with the lady working there for help, thinking I would need to prepay to get the petrol. I asked the lady, "Do I need to prepay to get the gas?" She replied, "No, you don't." I informed her that pump no. 4 was not working. She responded, "No, it's working, and I have already filled the petrol. You owe $7." I paid $7 (bank statement attached) and was still confused. I doubted myself, thinking that I might have missed seeing the petrol coming out, so I went back to confirm that the scooter was indeed empty. I restarted my scooter to check the meter reading, and it was still showing empty. I went inside again and told her that no petrol was filled, and my scooter was still empty. I mentioned that something was wrong with the machine. To this, she responded, "Machines don't lie, people do." I was amazed to hear this response, but I still requested her to come out and check my scooter's reading, just to show her that there was indeed an issue with the machine. I suggested that she should report this to their head office to save other customers trouble. To my surprise, she annoyingly suggested that I go to the Caltex pump at Matipo Blenheim and ask them for my money back. She mentioned that the manager sits there and they have nothing to do with this. I asked her why I should go there and what should I tell them. I explained that if she at this station thought I was lying, why would the other station believe me? I requested her to at least give me the receipt to show them that I paid her and no petrol came out. She replied that it was none of her business and she refused to entertain me any further. She stated that she wouldn't answer any more of my questions and asked me to leave the premises, I was shocked that she took my money, refused to give me a receipt, and then rudely asked me to leave. I asked her why she was being so disrespectful when I was speaking to her politely. To my disbelief, she responded in exact words, "Get the [censored] out of here. I went outside, trying to process what had happened, and was discussing the situation with one of the customers who had heard the conversation. To my disbelief, this lady came out again and screamed at me to leave the premises and not to talk to anyone. I was outside, not saying anything, just feeling traumatized and trying to compose myself. I was also worried that the scooter might stop on the way to Matipo Caltex, so I attempted to fill the petrol again. However, this lady came out again and screamed at me, saying I was being blocked from the pump, and immediately told me to"[censored] off"in front of other customers standing there. After enduring so much insult, I decided to go back inside and talk to her, suggesting that I would pay in advance and she could let me fill the petrol. However, she stopped me at the door and told me to"[censored] myself"and to"GO BACK TO WHERE I CAME FROM."I left the premises feeling deeply insulted and went directly to the Matipo pump. Upon arrival at 5:40 PM, I inquired for the manager, but she was not available. Consequently, I proceeded to fill my petrol tank and paid for it. Receipt attached. To verify the entire incident, you can review the CCTV footage and listen to any available audio. Additionally, please check recent Google reviews from two weeks ago, where a person named Sam reported a similar issue. According to the review, the station took $40 without providing petrol and subjected him to abuse, asking him to leave in a similar manner.

I have several questions regarding the incident:

1) Why didn't your employee provide me with a receipt when I made the payment?
2) Why did she refuse to help or guide me?
3) Why was I accused of lying without any thorough investigation?
4) How could the computer register $7 when the petrol meter was showing zero?
5) When I've already paid, why did your staff blocked me from using the pump?
6) Do you think the employee scanned items for personal use and made me pay for them under the guise of petrol? Could this be the reason for her refusal to provide a receipt?
7) Who gave her the right to verbally abuse me in front of so many people?
8) Who gave her the right to ask me to leave the country and"GO BACK TO WHERE I CAME FROM"?
9) NZ is my home, but your employee's behavior suggests that they don't want people of certain ethnicities at the petrol station or in the country.
Does immigration authorize such treatment? If I decide to return as suggested by your employee, will you cover the cost of my ticket?
10) If certain ethnicities are not welcome on your premises, why not display a sign indicating"not allowed" instead of harassing us?
11) Why is the Caltex employee displaying racist behavior? How do you intend to compensate for the trauma and insult I experienced?
