Canada Post - Delivery of letters / parcel packages

To whom it may concern:

My wife and I have a customer service/Canada Post employee concern about 21 packages that we mailed back on February 16, 2021.

After following up with almost of the 21 intended recipients of the packages we mailed (a mental health resource) to Saskatchewan school divisions, we found that none of the school divisions offices received the package. We are highly concerned that the Canada Post agent was fraudulent in her customer service to me, by promising to put on the "paid for" postage on afterwards and then mailing them, as she had other customers to serve in line behind me. I have the receipt that shows that she charged my MasterCard for the postage. While I was at the customer counter she printed off only one of the postage labels and asked if I was okay with her completing the rest later as there were a few other customers standing in line behind me. She took the box full of packages and put them on her back counter and promised to complete the affixing of the postage paid for and mail them. I am sure there is even store video surveillance that will verify this detail. In the end, I trusted her, and walked out of the store with hopes that the packages would be delivered in about a week or two, at latest, despite any Covid19 delays.

Instead, it seems like she may not have completed the task and I worry she did this to "pocket/steal" the $57.33 extra postage I purchased, as not a single one of these 21 packages arrived at their school division office destination (I had $38.64 of pre-affixed postage on the envelopes already and the total required to mail was $93.24, so she charged my MasterCard the difference of $54.60 + $2.73 GST = $57.33).

I now worry that she destroyed the packages, including the $20 mental health resource/book: 21x$20 = $420, that was being sent to each school division.

According to my receipt, the employee in question is Kristen (TR1831590)?

I thank you in advance for thoroughly investigating this possibly intolerable behaviour of one of your Canada Post employees. My personal contact number is [protected] or [protected]. I look forward to you contacting me and discussing any further questions or details your require to resolve this concern.

Respectfully,

Mr. Mick Parmar
Langenburg Central School Principal
Good Spirit School Division Superintendent of Schools as of August 1, 2021

Desired outcome: Investigation into fraudulent service and theft by employee
