Canadian Tire

I was looking for 10 lbs. weightlifting discs and searched on the net. Found 2 in stock at Canadian Tire outlet at 6000 Henri-Bourassa in montreal-North.
Show up within 30 min of my search and see none on the shelves. Ask an employee who certifies that they show 2 in stock. Does a 15 min inquiry to finally announce to me that they don't have any. Angrily, I ask why it shows 2 on the Canadian Tire website. He answers me that in Covid times, they are short staffed and no-one takes care of updating their stock. 1 hour of useless driving and wasted time. Worst part, 4 hours later, stock still has NOT been updated. Question: how many people get caught in this scheme every day?
