This location at 330 Queen Street at the side of the Delta Hotel building at 101 Lyon Street in downtown Ottawa has a high volume of customers, is one of the few places open Sundays but lacks adequate staff. There were two employee visible when I was there on July 16 at 10:10 AM. More people came. The line did not move.
Large phone orders were received and staff worked on those leaving in-store customers waiting. Finally got my small black coffee and breakfast bagel (order 166) at 10:45 AM. Line-up behind me was even longer. This bagel was smaller than the norm with not as much tomato, lettuce and bacon with the egg and cheese slice. Short of ingredients? No backup supplies? Employee just ticked off.? Who knows.
If you have time to waste go to the 330 Queen Street Tim Horton's in Ottawa. Only in Canada do people put up with this shoddy service.
Desired outcome: Hire more staff. Have a "Max Wait Time" posted and if service is longer than that time, the coffee/food is free.
